I like how they managed to portray the box art legendary pokemon as real creatures with feelings, and not as some mythical beast that you have to defeat in other games
Its cute, and i like the fact that its legendary in our time period but in its time period its pretty common
Honestly, I think these games do the “version exclusive” deal the best out of any game. There is a more stronger reason to pick one over the other rather than “welp, time to kill groudon and trade minun” or whatever

Between this and Cyclizar, I'm glad that they established the Box Legendaries being an actual species with multiple members
It was always a bit weird how Legendaries were treated as these one of a kind powerful beasts, but they kinda just pop up casually in future games/region that by all means shouldn't house them
well tbf i dont think them popping up is canon. with usum they have an excuse though with the whole wormhole thing.

We don't actually know if Koraidon and Miraidon have multiple members though besdies the two. Yes there are future and past forms of cyclizar which are in present paldea in abundance but they clearly state they could bring several of the other paradox pokemon through the gate but for some reason they couldn't ever find more than 2 Korai/Mirai so they are unique in some way.
It really depends upon the legendary. Some legends do make sense to be a species with multiple members like these and Solgalio and Lunala. On the other hand, baring literal acts of god, does it really make sense for there to be more than one Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina? And lets face it, just one Groudon and Kyogre were treated as world ending threats; I don't think the planet could withstand more and still be habitable.
@@MetalKing1417 i forget which game it was but it was confirmed that arceus can make more palkia, dialga and giratinas. the only proof of more of the weather trio is solely a shiny rayquaza being in the hoopa movie tho.
During the scene where it says "AI Turo has challenged you to a battle" and it changes into Paradise Protection Protocol, at one point, the text turns into "AI Turo has no intention of fighting any more!" I like seeing the detail like this.
Honestly the story is great in this one. Too bad for the quantity of bugs and frame drops tho
In my game, I missed that small detail. The words changed too quickly for me to notice that hidden message. Thanks for the discovery.

The way that the main miraidon is portrayed like a timid puppy and noble hero at the same time is so damn cute to me and is almost making me think a big purple motorcycle lizard is cuter than shinx
Most things are cuter than Shinx. But still, Miraidon, as well as Koraidon, for that matter, have to be the cutest legendaries.
Koraidon and Miraidon are Pokémon I'd love to have as pets, by this alone.
This didn't really age well cause now I main scarlet and like koraidon a little more

Theory:
Professor Sada exists in Violet and Turo in Scarlet. They are husband and wife, and the respective parents of Arven in both versions. However, Professional. Sada (in Scarlet) and Turo (in Violet) would only get more and more caught up with and become obsessive with the past and future respectively. So much so that they'd do everything in their power to stop anyone from interfering with their plans. Hence, Turo (in Violet) and Sada (in Scarlet), being the more sane ones in this position, would leave their respective partner due to them being too far gone....
Good theory, mine almost sounds too crazy compared to yours!
My theory was that somehow scarlet and violet were past and future of each other somehow, and under the Time Machine AI Turo ends up in scarlet while AI Sada ends up in violet. The paradox Pokémon would be from an even farther reach of time than the Time Machine could reach(sometime before being built/after being destroyed) and the paradox Pokémon are technically meant to be swapped for whatever reason.
But I realize that my theory falls apart faster than a regieleki can hop, especially considering the impossibility of two games even existing in the same timeline!
This theory is actually partially true. The entire being obsessive isn’t, they’ve been married since gen 4, about 12 years ago, Arven is their son, but they’re dead. Hence the AI battles.
@@Thomas_Morse True as well, however, from Arven’s dialogue stating “If only time machines were real.” So it couldn’t have been a time machine, maybe Celebi, another Pokémon? I get that the movie isn’t canon to the games, but Mewtwo doing so could also prove your theory further.

It's weird, all the other Paradox Pokemon from Violet seem to be 100% robotic, but Miraidon seems to still have some bioloigical bits
Perhaps it's a Cyborg or it could be a fully synthetic being? Or it might be data given a body? I'd say it's fully synthetic or Data but I could be wrong.
Yeah. Future paradox pokemon look absolutly terrible in my opinion. Creatures don't evolve into robots they evolve into futuristic traits. Robot pokemon themselves are fine, but having all of them as robots was a horrible idea. While in Scarlet, paradox pokemons who portray the past theme perfectly
@@alphazilla3168 There's a theory I heard that the paradox pokemon are more being created from imagination rather than actually being pulled from the past or future, which would explain why a lot are mentioned being similar to creature described in sci-fi or paranormal magazines/stories in their dex entries, and why they were present in area zero before the time machine was bult
There’s a possibility that unlike Miraidon Those paradox Pokémon are actually just robot replicas and the originals are extinct

While I agree how the ally Koraidon is better at showimg how traumatized it is, I prefer the enemy miraidon. at 2:26 it tilts its head upwards, as if saying " the audacity of this little shit. what makes you think you still have place here.. HUUUUUUUHHHHH?!?!? " when Koraidon leans forwards instead, which it gives me the " wait, is it.. you..? OH , IT *IS* YOU!!!! " like, the enemy miraidon is exerting dominance better. or it's just me.
To be honest, enemy koraidon just strikes fear on our ally koraidon and almost attacked him until the door opened

See story wise this game is perfect. Kids being bullied and fighting back to a extremely. A kid with parents issues helping his dog that was with him and finding out he dad/mom was dead (or maybe trapped in the past/future?!?!?!) like story wise this game is very grown up in terms of story development

It just needed more story. It felt like you had to get through the whole game in order to get to the interesting end game

My buddy and I traded our spare/ more dominant box legends. The way I fluffed it in my head is two alternate universe friends who understand that animals battle brutally for territory and dominance all the time, but emotionally we didn’t want our sweet and gentle friends to have to be near the more dominant one that picked on them/ didn’t want to have to train a Pokémon that beat up our friend. So we each got a super dominant and powerful battle pokemon to wrangle but we didn’t have to worry about our friend facing their bully all the time.

I will admit i grew to have extreme 'motherly instincts' towards Miraidon, i just wanted to protect him and love him! He was just so cute!
I was waiting for the player to protect miraidon as well, I adore how they turned the box legendary into such a wonderful partner (it reminded me of rotom from Alola who would travel with us throughout the entire journey and who could communicate with us)
I really hope miraidon gets more scenes with the player in the dlc

lines there are in the game. Even if you were to restrict it to just cinematic cutscenes they're everywhere and would need to either be cut/avoided entirely (which I don't think all that many people would be happy with) or rerecorded for every single possible variation (which... do I even need to explain why that's not something they can do??)
Though then again I agree at least something would be nice. Maybe simple catchphrases here and there or beep text like in animal crossing or undertale

When I was facing the same situation at 4:58, instead of swapping for Miraidon for the first time, I tried the 'Battle' option two more times. If you do that, Nemona will say "That's cheating!" to AI Turo (now as the Paradise Protection Protocol).

Miraidon faces his evil twin who want to conquer the world from the past.
Also, since Cyclizar is not a legendary, Miraidon and Koraidon aren't legendaries, but are referred as one. They 're legendaries not because the help Arceus and the rest to create the world, but they are legendaries because is a really rare species. Since Miraidon is from a future timeline, I bet seeing Miraidon over there is more common than here. Same thing for Koraidon, but in reverse.
Nope not the case. The bully is just more aggressive and our Miraidon lost to it in a territorial struggle which led to the psychological scar that prevented it to battle. Koraidon and Miraidon ARE confirmed Legendary Pokémon and confirmed to be a Paradox form of Cyclizar but more complex than the other Paradox Pokémon. We have had hybrid cases of 2 categories before with Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala and Necrozma are both Ultra Beasts and Legendary Pokémon but again those are more complex than the other Ultra Beasts. But the Pokémon Company simplifies it to JUST Legendary Pokémon and that is just how the cookie crumbles.
@@zekromtrainer1222 but in this case the professor only wanted to bring 1 of the legendaries but ended up bringing 2 by accident, one became his pokemon and then used by the AI but the other ended up lost until the player finds it, they appear to be very hostile with each other but our miraidon seems to have created a trauma and not wanting to fight
@@luisfillipebeserra2108 Actually they wanted to bring a harmony between ancient/distant future and present but it was a bit disastrous if those Paradox Pokémon were to go on Paldea thus their confinement in Area Zero. They managed to bring a countless number of Slither Wings, Sandy Shocks, Roaring Moons and others from the ancient past but only 2 species of Koraidon. Same with the distant future Paradox Pokémon but only 2 species of Miraidon. This implies that there are other Koraidon and Miraidon in their present timelines but only 2 of each were brought to the present time.
I think the second Koraidon/Miraidon is just our riding legendary but he came to the past/future and get catch by the AI Professor. Our Legendary do beat himself for saving himself.

I really loved this finale. Area zero was so cool, and I really like the direction they took the story in

But you need to agree that the animations of Scarlet and Violet are SICK. (Like when Koraidon or Miraidon transforms into it's battld form, or when Nemona, Arven, Penny and the player fly in Koraidon or Miraidon.)
Stop asking also do you know how much it takes to make something like this. And try paying people if you don't have enough for everyone. Stop complaining and appreciate, cause voice acting in games can be annoying too

I absolutely LOVED the entirety of this game's story!! I just feel bad for the Miraidon we shared our journeys with, having been terrorized by the "Mean-raidon" and forced out onto the surface... they didn't deserve the abuse they faced... and I am glad we got to kick its futuristic butt!! I finished my game's story a couple weeks ago and I STILL think about it every day since. AND THE CREDITS SONG?? Not going to lie I did not expect Ed Sheeran to sing it in the American version... About 30 seconds in, I had to search it up to make sure what I was hearing was correct!

That bully is now being raised to become my main 5-star raid killer, so I can farm candy, money and other items for everything else in the game.
I would've used my journey boi for this, but having to go to the menu to reactivate his battle form every time I need a ride is a big "no".

I really loved the climax of this game. At first, I honestly felt guilty about even using the other Miraidon (I will just call it Dark Miraidon for ease of linguistics), but I got so sick of changing my partner Miraidon between formes. I am okay with using it for PVP, but for adventuring it just go so annoying having to keep changing the forme back and forth. So, I decided to host a picnic to see how they would behave. Surprisingly enough they actually got along really well. I didn't expect them to start beating each other up by any means (albeit Cinderace did punt a Togepi in my Shield version which had me crying I was laughing so hard), but rather than being just neutral towards each other they actually seemed to like each other. They follow each other around and stick to each other like glue. They've fallen asleep right next to each other. At one point they were even facing each other and one of the Miraidons made a happy face at the other one, which I made sure to take a screen shot of because it was adorable. So, I gave Dark Miraidon the benefit of the doubt and analyzed the whole situation. While at first it seemed like Dark Miraidon was just a bloodthirsty bully no one ever once stated that either Miraidon was in the right or wrong. No one ever once stated who started the fight. It was stated that they got in a brutal battle over territory. That is really all we know so we cannot really point the finger at who started it. The future formes in general are quite territorial which makes sense because they were sucked in from another time period, so they had no natural habitat in the present and quickly wanted to establish habitats for obvious reasons. It was less of Dark Miraidon being evil and more of they were both victims of Turo's meddling. They were like fish out of water and didn't really know what to do. You also have to factor in that Dark Miraidon being stronger than partner Miraidon didn't exactly mean it was the bad one. Would Partner Miraidon have done the same thing to Dark Miraidon had it been the stronger of the two? Honestly, probably. We don't really know a lot about Partner Miraidon before it got horribly injured by Dark Miraidon. We just know that it was sweet and somewhat dog like towards Florian/Juliana, but that was likely out of gratitude for revitalizing it with sandwiches. Would Dark Miraidon have responded the same way if it would have been the one that was horribly injured and revitalized by Florian/Juliana? Honestly, probably. If you actually look at Dark Miraidon's behavior after you capture it, it is honestly sweet and gentle like Partner Miraidon is. Also, something to note is while it seemed like at first that Partner Miraidon was the Miraidon that was buddies with Turo I think it was actually Dark Miraidon that was buddies with Turo due to the final boss fight. So, it wasn't aggressive towards Turo most likely. So, Turo probably did something to befriend it and take the mean streak out of it towards him similarly to how Florian/Juliana did. Arven could have easily gotten the two Miraidons confused seeing as how they are identical in physical appearance when talking about how it ruined his childhood. While Dark Miraidon did seem to bully Partner Miraidon in one of the Area Zero cutscenes a logical explanation for this outside of just assuming Dark Miraidon is an a$$hole is because to some degree Dark Miraidon was actually afraid of Partner Miraidon. I think it is pretty clear that Miraidon is the strongest out of the future forme Pokemon. That being said Dark Miraidon likely had no fear whatsoever of the other future forme Pokemon with the exception of Partner Miraidon, because they were the same species. The same all-powerful species. If Partner Miraidon was able to get as strong as Dark Miraidon which is honestly a logical fear, then it could seek revenge on Dark Miraidon. So, Dark Miraidon out of fear of this happening bullied Partner Miraidon to try to keep it scared and make it more unlikely that Partner Miraidon would seek vengeance on it. Also, something to note is that whenever Dark Miraidon tries to intimidate Partner Miraidon by roaring at it- it does not attack Partner Miraidon. Even though Partner Miraidon clearly was not up to its full power anymore. If Dark Miraidon hated Partner Miraidon and was the monster like a lot of people think it is- why didn't it attack Partner Miraidon and kill it whenever it likely could have right then and there? Even though AI Turo stated that Dark Miraidon was more aggressive than Partner Miraidon he could have mistaken the Partner Miraidon's temperament for its grateful behavior towards Florian/Juliana. I think both Miraidons were actually essentially in the wrong because they were battling over territory, but I think both of them were redeemed by the end of the game.

Also I think the fact it Dark Mira had little to none human interaction for the past few years might be why it acted like such a typical A$$hole big brother to Partner Mira, because it didn't have as much of the love nor affection Partner Mira got

@@KordiakRevival if Nintendo were smart they would've took the time to create a more powerful console but they didn't and that's why it's overshadowed. Eventually they'll get there and when they do these games should be replayable on the new console without lag. Who knows how long that could take though probably years from now.

Once you complete the game you can go back down in the crater and capture the box cover Mon.
You will also be able to switch the legendary in your party to battle form in your version of the game to use in fights BUT it can't be traded.

That’s…a very good question! I think it’s kinda like ultrabeast like how Poipole is considered a starter in some random other dimension but in the normal dimension of Pokémon it’s considered a legendary because it’s nearly impossible to find. But by that logic every paradox pokemon should be a legendary so maybe Koraidon and Miraidon are rarer than them in their respective timeline? Idk but I think the requirements for something to be a “legendary” in the games is to be just very rare, like EXTREMELY rare, so if something is literally from a different time period or dimension it’s probably a legendary. But by that logic fossil Pokémon would also be legendary so idk, it’s an interesting conversation for sure though!

Seeing the paradox pokemon from the future makes me wonder how come they became just a robot? Does that mean in the future pokemon will be extinct and these are the replacement?
Judging by dialogue and interactions, it seems Pokémon just evolve to become metallic and robotic, but they are still somewhat organic underneath. Penny mentions Miraidon having saliva. Miraidon loves eating sandwiches, and Iron Treads was eating Herba Mystica. Turo mentions he discovered Miraidon was a future version of Cyclizar after studying its biology.
Think about how the Magnemite line and Klinklang exist. Pokémon could always be metallic, most were just completely organic.
Miraidon and Iron Treads even show a Pokémon fully evolving.
Great Tusk cannot turn into a wheel like Donphan, which rolls around, but Iron Treads can turn into a wheel without having to roll its head around also like Donphan.
Koraidon has started developing wheels, but cannot use them. Cyclizar’s wheels are starting to seem more like natural wheels, but it still cannot use them. Miraidon has fully developed and functioning wheels.
