I have been dealing with chest tightness for years and was told it was anxiety by my doctor. I took medication for a year under that assumption but it never helped my issue. This is the first time I’ve felt relief from this pain in years. I had honestly given up. This video has literally changed my life. Thank you.

Thank you very much! I was panicking as my diaphragm felt so tight that it was difficult to breathe. There was an immediate release as I went through the exercises. ❤

Quick question: How many times per day should I do the direct inhibition hold routine? Is there such a thing as too much...I have so much tension caused by a now-cured really bad stomach ulcer.

Does anyone know how to unilaterally train one side of the diaphragm? Right side is too active when I breathe, left side is very inactive.

This actually kinda worsened my shortness of breathe. Would you know any reason why this can happen?

This is not medical advice but it does feel worse in the beginning and gets better gradually

It's invasive with bad outcomes. And not reversible. It should be for the most extreme cases

I have it too, unless u had an impact its probably sympathetic nervous system overload, work on regulating ur nervous system, look up polyvagal theory and other ways to strengthen your parasympathetic so your nervous system can calm down

Does anyone else get extreme anxiety from the first exercise? It just feels really scary to be digging my fingers under my ribs and it’s honestly uncomfortable for me😅

Also it kind of feels like my abs (?) or something is in the way from letting me get my fingers under my ribs towards the center of that dome
