@@FisherFAST I don’t know if you still remembered, but I bought my 03 SL 3 years now and I have asked you if you would “do your magic” on it, but you said because of Covid everything has went up!!
I own a 2011 SL 63 out here in So.Cal L.A. Section. GREAT Summer car. Nothing like Downshifting on Rodeo Dr. With the Top Down. CLASSIC. Nothing more to say.
Hello Brian, it was a long time since your last video. Jobs well done, sir! Hopefully you can do more of these model SL 55,SL 63 or SLK 350,SL 550 and give some more information about those cars including price, when and where we could get some of the beautiful car you have done. We like the way you modified and put great effort into it.
Thanks! Love the styling on the GT and could certainly see one in my near future. However, I'll withhold full judgement until that happens as I'm not sold on the small displacement 4 liter V8 just yet.
@@FisherFAST I did muff and res delete on my 2007 bmw x3, it's like a different vehicle, I think I also gained some hp, it opened it up so much nicer. Muff and Res delete are underrated for what it costs.
@@money4385 I like the 63's, of course, just sort of want to avoid AMG engine repairs, also not going to lie a stock 550 is to fast anyway, so a 63 would be absurd, I beat 99% of anything on the road, at least in my area. Do you have a 63?
@@joesmith9216 Much Love. What you said is true. A 63 is a True to Life Roadster. It is a a lot of Power for Regular driving. The user definitely needs like a Camry too. I know what you mean, I just got 3 pulleys, a Belt Tensioner and a Thermostat Housing replaced. $2300 from Downtown Mercedes.
I bought an 09 SL63 with P30 package recently with 106k miles on it, not much information on the history of the car but it did have some issues I had to replace motor and transmission mounts and there was some cosmetic issues. Is there anything you’d recommend taking a look at otherwise since it’s over 100k miles? I haven’t seen a lot of these cars over 100k but I got this car for a very good price so I took the risk
Just wondering if during the 51k miles, did it ever have the headbolts replaced. If it has this thing is probably one of the cleanliest 63AMG out there. Seriously interested
Thanks for the feedback on the 63! The headbolts were confirmed as original whenever I had the motor opened up. At this time, I chose not to replace them as there's no indication of failure by way of coolant observation/measuring. This is one preventative fix I wouldn't do ahead of them ever needing replaced as to not potentially disturb the headgasket. From my research, there are a lot of C63's 2008-2011 with original headbolts and over 100k with no issues.

Summer and top down are synonymous with a great time. Enjoy that beautiful exhaust note!

Here's to hoping that you find one with some time to drive before winter! :)
Beautiful SL. Would look great next to my black CLS55. Good luck with sale.
this car is beautiful
Thanks! The 09-11 63's are definitely something special...
How much
Does it have rear seat belts?
Nice Vehicle...very nice.....!
Much appreciated!

There is no replacement for displacement 😂

You'll love it, enjoy that beauty!

I ain’t a Hater, A 550 is nice, but it pales in comparison to a 63….But I ain’t no Hater. Enjoy 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Hi, how much is that you're selling?
Clean 👌👌

you did the cam adjusters but why not the headbolts? all 9, 10, 11 sl63 need their headbolts done for they will fail
