Does it have rear seat belts?

Great job, but what's the point? Why not buy yourself a Porsche, or a Corvette? The chasis of the R230 honestly cannot handle all that power. I once drove a brand new SL65 and it was a disaster. The standard SL55 is okay, but it must be driven with "velvet gloves". They are great cars for the German autobahn, but they just cannot put down all that power on a windy country road. Especially if the tyres haven't been warmed up well. P.S. I have had an SL55 for nearly 20 years. I like the car, but it's not a sports car, it's a grand tourer.

I bought an 09 SL63 with P30 package recently with 106k miles on it, not much information on the history of the car but it did have some issues I had to replace motor and transmission mounts and there was some cosmetic issues. Is there anything you’d recommend taking a look at otherwise since it’s over 100k miles? I haven’t seen a lot of these cars over 100k but I got this car for a very good price so I took the risk

what mufflers did you use on the custom exhaust trying to have my fabrication shop do the same

I am currently having the exhaust on mine, and with the custom modded exhuast I havent quite gotten the right muffler and cats. Heard what you said for cats, however can you show where you put the seond x pipe and what the brand and series of the mufflers were. I go cats in the stock position x pipe then racing resonaters

Coming from seeing a guy turning his SL into a "supercar" this is actually reminiscent of a true high performance build. Love the custom work and great job on the tuning.

you did the cam adjusters but why not the headbolts? all 9, 10, 11 sl63 need their headbolts done for they will fail

How are these cars so cheap? For $40,000 you can have a fast, beautiful and fairly high tech car. Way ahead of their time and timeless design.

Where did you buy the blackout headlight housing

100% it's the style I like for body style. Mine in black with n black with black trim and wheels. It's a supercharged one to and lol a Louis Vuitton Edition. So the wheels have the LV logo on the spokes and colors at the lugs. And the headliner is all LV logos. It's a beautiful SUV. And by alot faster than most people think it is lol. Mines got the mufflers deleted and resonators switched so it has a good solid low scream as I get on it. And have p zero on there now but Yokohama Prada before. I prefer the look of the Pirelli. Yours looks really nice in white with black and the wheels are fitted perfect. Very nice. And clean as fuk like mine . I appreciate a clean car .. Even the brakes and inner wheel. Nice
