It would have been a better reveal if they had *shown* us it was our earth rather than had an alien species somehow mysteriously know our name for the planet, but I digress. A great bit of animation and story.
Great story. Something about the cat's face I'm not thrilled about. It just created some dissonance for me, like it was hard for me to connect with it. But the story was great and maybe it would grow on me after another episode or two. Obviously there's a whole bunch of story before and after, so keep going.
I think my only complaints I have for this animation would pertain to the character himself. I think the choice of body type wasn't right for a cat like character. I think a more feline body type of the character could have been lanky/smallish or just more cat like, also the human lips freaked me out, and cat noises he makes. Other than that the story seems fine; he is exploring a Earth thousands of years later and he has exploration mishaps. Standard coming back to a forgotten Earth formula.

character design... not working for me, that cat is confusing.. wanna be cute.. wanna be anthro buff... gallant..?... animation, enviroment design, rendering and lighting, even the design of the other creatures, outstanding.
One of the most colorful and adrenalized animated films I've ever seen.
This is one of the better 3d short films I've seen. Amazing design, colours and fun story. Love to see more.
