First time i see this deck is like "why you banishing yourself?" After i get my turn, that frickin' daedalus come and wipe my special summoned monster from my field.... I just like "oh..."
My biggest peeve is shiranui and super heavy samurai. I just forfeit if I see just one of those cards. Now I also do not want to read "oh these decks are super easy to go up against" as this is what everyone says. People tell me these decks are not op when they are clearly broken. You wouldn't be using these decks if they were not broken.

@@sanninjiraiya The deck is so consistent there's almost no challenge to it. I've figured out every way to lose with this deck and how to avoid it. Getting beat on the second turn because you didn't get a banishment card and your opponent set up really quick which is just luck, losing all of your banishment cards which has never happened to me so if it happens I don't know man, not activating your banished monster's effects which you just avoid by doing it, and losing both of your Tyrant Dragons. As long as you don't let both of your Tyrant Dragons get sent to the graveyard, which its honestly pretty hard to lose one even if you're trying to, the deck will win. As long as you get a banishment card in one of your first two turns you will win. If you understand the deck it's extremely consistent.
Yep, we just got out of one cancer to get into another, Looks like konami doesnt know how to do things right, this game needs a BIG ban list. Unfair decks shouldnt be able to get access to staples so easily, this deck doesnt really have staples, but there are many other decks that do...

Its is a playstyle that intentionally tilts the opponent and intentionally shuts down play, that is cancer. Is it top tier? No, but it is very annoying to play against and thats why I don't like it. And cut the BS of "would you rather have some shrianui or invoked decks" there plenty of other decks in the game and so many other options besides these three decks its not one or the other.
@@sfsreiq Ikr, however, in duel links, going first and having the ability to fully control the game by setting 2 karma cuts and negating your opponents first turn while at the same time getting profit of the stuff you discard is trash, specially when a 4 (5 if you go second) cards starting hand doesnt give you enough cards to fully recover from one floodgate (or karma cut) like really, I use 2 cards minimum to summon a monster from the extra deck and it gets banished, then I dont have enough to summon something else and my opponent proceeds to destroy me the next turn. Its either play meta or dont play at this point. Shiranui was a problem, now we are starting to get more annoying stuff replacing it... gg.

Guys I use this every season (with crystron but now its nerfed). Another reason this deck is so much better nowadays is because everyone loves karma cut. Also blazing mars at 1 allows recycling of monsters. Instead of sphere use new batlin boxer card.
there's the broken version I use before.. gold sarc is nerfed..D.D plan and Desperado and MEtaphys.. Banish anything and D.D plane will keep resummoning and at the same time if it does get destroyed I can summon Desperadark and win.
I wonder if this video was made before the recent box was released. I think the kuriboh can probably be replaced with battlin boxer veil. It is a cheaper option and potentially can stop two attacks. Although I think there are pros and cons between the two. Kuriboh does put monsters into defense postion but I think Metaphys don't necessarily care about that to much since they have many big body monsters. That said pretty sure veil is going to get the kiteroid treatment soon.
I personally use draw sense dark with kiteroid, First turn kill isn't that common and with some life gain and kiteroid draw sense dark let you have a big gad wolf to make your plays

There are 3. Metaphys ragnarok(monster),metaphys decoy dragon(pendulum monster but I doubt it'll come to duel links soon till pendulum summoning comes to dl) and metaphys ascension(normal trap)

You only need one of the trap cards. It does nothing on its own and it is searchable since Phoenix can search the whole arcetype and put it into your hand outside of itself.
No lies lol i played against this deck using blue eyes. Managed to banish the trap card with spirit dragon but goddamn i was pissed with those daedalus summon lol.

I play a similar version but without Sarcophagus, one less Daedalus and two less kuriboh but with Kiteroid, Shypon Soul (+500 hp everytime a card is banished) and 1x of the field spell. I admit that it's a bit breakup, but a lot of time the Shypon helped me to gain turns (and it's also a bit more f2p)

trust me this deck is easy to counter just losing it's continue spell can make this deck hurt like really a lot because it's engine is banish itself if they lose their way to banish they're doomed in my case I'll replace 2 sphere kuriboh with lady assailant of flames from really old box that has black luster soldier her effect is when flip banish top 3 cards from deck to do 800 lp dmg and her effect can be triggered when continue spell activate on opponent turn to flip it up metaphys combo will be quite faster after that this will make sure you can banish some monster for a while in case that if you're not have any continue spell or doggo for limited 2 gold box since I only have 1 box I replace it with 2nd trap in case it got cosmic
Because when Dark magic circle activates to Banish, it's not the card itself that is activated, but it's the effect of a card that is already face up on the field. If dark magic circle was a quick play that stated "activate this if dark magician is summoned, target 1 opponent card and Banish it" then Thought ruler would protect himself

Dkayed already said it, the user of this deck that got 9-0 doesn't even use Metaphys Dimension but it's still god just has a downside of being a trap. 1 thing I can recommend is slap x3 Kuriboh/ x3 Temperance/ x3 Veil and it should work perfectly. and also put x2 of your Metaphys Dimension but most people use 1 only because drawing 2 is a brick and it's searchable. and free banish is cool but you can recycle it easily. no Sarcophagus isn't that bad . x3 Aloof would cover it mostly with Assymetaphys. I suggest running either Metaphys Factor that can possibly help your deck unnbrick. or if you don't like that you can also use Dimension gate trap. banish your monster and resummon it.

I used to play it when dark magician and blue eyes were top tier. I remeber banishing two or three BEWD or DM and then they just scoop.

@@cefrilupianto9761 idk how to show it on UA-cam but like I said I ran two kiteroids (which I highly recommend over gold sarcophagus), two neph, two deadalus, two dimensions, only one sphere (by choice), a Metaphys factor, and lastly soul release which is a pretty good tech card

Exactly. People stop complain about a bricky deck lmao. Any deck has his counters,but you really don't even need Chaos Hunter if you're playing around your opponent.
@@ub_2001 yes , but in case of metaphys you just need to summon C.H and then duel is over. You do not even need a plan. That is a very strong counter first because its free card. Second easy to summon since metaphys all about special summnon and they do not have card to destroy it
metaphys factor normal summon a monster run over chaos hunter
@@aoi2853 and what does normal summon do? Only 2900 at best and get banished in the next two turns.

just losing it's continue spell can make this deck hurt like really a lot because it's engine is banish itself if they lose their way to banish they're doomed
in my case I'll replace 2 sphere kuriboh with lady assailant of flames from really old box that has black luster soldier her effect is when flip banish top 3 cards from deck to do 800 lp dmg and her effect can be triggered when continue spell activate on opponent turn to flip it up metaphys combo will be quite faster after that this will make sure you can banish some monster for a while in case that if you're not have any continue spell or doggo
for limited 2 gold box since I only have 1 box I replace it with 2nd trap in case it got cosmic

Hey dk can you please explain to me why " thought ruler Arch fiend " affect doesn't activate with dark magic circle?
Because when Dark magic circle activates to Banish, it's not the card itself that is activated, but it's the effect of a card that is already face up on the field.
If dark magic circle was a quick play that stated "activate this if dark magician is summoned, target 1 opponent card and Banish it" then Thought ruler would protect himself
Or better yet, if thought ruler stated "When a spell/trap card OR EFFECT is activated..." then he would protect himself against Dark magic circle

what ? are you sure ? well in case of Daedalus just banish all big 3 monsters in 1 go is possible but D/D/D also has that nasty beowolf to counter this deck as well so are you sure you can't fight this deck ? I used this deck and lose to D/D/D that my friend used all the time

i do only have a single kuriboh sphere and none of the sarcophagus, but have 2 metaphys dimension... so left for me 3 empty slots, any tips for me? Thanks!
Dkayed already said it, the user of this deck that got 9-0 doesn't even use Metaphys Dimension but it's still god just has a downside of being a trap.
1 thing I can recommend is slap x3 Kuriboh/ x3 Temperance/ x3 Veil and it should work perfectly. and also put x2 of your Metaphys Dimension but most people use 1 only because drawing 2 is a brick and it's searchable. and free banish is cool but you can recycle it easily.
no Sarcophagus isn't that bad . x3 Aloof would cover it mostly with Assymetaphys. I suggest running either Metaphys Factor that can possibly help your deck unnbrick. or if you don't like that you can also use Dimension gate trap. banish your monster and resummon it.
