  • There are a few everyday phrases to describe that you CAN’T do something but in Thai we don’t say these with the normal ไม่ได้ /mâi-dâai/.

    Coming back in this channel after almost 4 years, ครูมด. I've learned so much things in here that I actually sound like a native Thai speaker now.     Can you teach the polite/ending particles for males as well please?People keep laughing when I use female particles at the end of sentences.

      one is high tone the other low - just listen closely 😅😅

      @@nonamemyname4867 i know about tones but don't hear the difference in most cases. I can hear falling and rising but others are total chaos. Somtimes I hear falling but it was high :)))

      @@nonamemyname4867 Spent few month with google translate trying to say "knee" but never successed. Got everything: he, news, whatever. Was trying to pronounce exactly as google translate does but.. Fail. After that I quit Thai language school (I was learning Thai here in Krabi). First time in my life I surrended in front of knowledge :))))

      @@Anya_Boo If you get the vowels right and the length of the vowels and you do the hard and soft k, p and t right, your all good :)
