Fact you are still listening to them in You-Tube or anywhere else is testimony enough they are the best. Coming a close second is The Ventures. Their music is punchy, surfy and rock. But they keep changing their players it spins your head. Three originals are Don, Bob and Nokie and drum Howie. Those were the days.
The highlight of the whole concert is when Hank and Bruce change positions at 1:34, lol. They play so rigidly, you won’t miss anything by listening to their CDs or 🍎 music. It’s also cheaper. 🤣🤣🤣
why oh why didnt Hank, Bruce & Brian Bennett invite Jet Harris back to do a few gigs with them before it was to late, you had Hank & Jet doing Nivram 38 years after they first did it then Jet played with Bruces Shadows even Cliff Richard played with Jet and Tony on stage but not the original Shadows how sad
Word on the street was that Hank vetoed the idea, no reason given. In my view this was a tragic mistake and should have been forcefully overturned by Bruce and Brian. Jet was greatly loved by the fans and deserved a final encore with the Shads.
Hank is the greatest! Shadows to the Fore was the first EP I ever bought. Long live 1961!! 🤓
