I'm so impressed by this and its potential. I'd love to collaborate with any educators that are integrating this into orchestration/composition classes!
You can use the UOT with SWAM instruments, or any other combination of virtual instruments that are sufficiently playable. But using the SWAM templates right away could save you a lot of time if you want to use all SWAM. All UOT orchestrations we have released so far are also included in the SWAM Orchestra and vice versa. SWAM just has a bunch of trigger presets that provide shortcuts for the different special parameters of SWAM. And of course the template has all instruments already loaded, tweaked and multiple solo string instruments to build sections. Both are free, so you can just see what you prefer.
This is an amazing tool. One of those you ask yourself…why didnt I think of this? An area that could improve great is the repeater. To create accompaigent lines and or Longer phrases with triplets 1/16s that could span 4 measures etc.. I am sure this will come. Get it! This is incredible!!
The template uses EAReverb2, but other reverbs would work as well. Each instrument has one instance for positioning, the room reverb is done via one send.
How does the routing work? Do you have to manually route the strings plugins to the strings section in divisimate and the brass to the brass and so on? Or if you download the swam tampered for example and you have the swam plugins installed will it automatically load or route with the preset?
Both the Swam Orchestral Templates and the universal orchestral template for Divisimate have a prepared routing that will work with this. Excluding the SWAM Orchestral Template for Logic Pro 10.6 and earlier. divisimate.com/templates/
Yes, this already exists! Go to the settings page and click on "remote setup" at the lower end of the page. On this page make sure that under "MIDi Remote" or "listen to Program Change" and "Listen to CC31" are enabled. If they are, you can switch presets, performances and even divisi modes and bypass using those. Check the manual under "MIDI Remote" for the exact mapping of values!
@@Nextmidi Oh thanks a lot. You are right. Haven't checked. Thanks a lot. One suggestion : would be cool to be able to change notes pitch in repeater. Sort of melodies than we then can transpose in real time and still stay in the scale !!! Thanks a lot. GREAT WORK !
Thank you, oder vielen Danks! I appreciate that you provide such great additional content for free.
Love you Divisimate! This is amazing

Best Orchestration tool out there and it keeps getting better
Divisimate really shines with templates like this.
This template works well with SWAM? Or only the SWAM templates are indicated?

Hi Nextmidi, does the template work out-of-box when it comes to reverb setting? Is there a default reverb plugin used and that we should be gettting?

Very inspiring!
Whoahhh !!
One question please. Can we midi learn the presets 'cells ' to move from one to another without the mouse? Or program changes ? Thanks.

Which sample library did you use here? :)
This is Aaron Venture Infinite Series for Brass and Woodwinds and Cinematic Strings 2. Some QL Spaces in a bussing system, not much else going on.
Love it!
