Fun fact: morning glories won't flower if their soil is too nutritious. Their goal in life is to grow as big as possible until they've depleted the soil then flower and make seeds so it's children can do the same.
Does it only flower once because of that??
Agreed. If theres too much nitrogen, which you can tell there is based on those light colored foliage's, then it wont flower.
Essentially start it in a super soil and water only

I grew my first Morning Glories, a few years ago, and I fell in love with them! I love how rapidly they grow.
The Morning Glory will not bloom flowers if there is too much fertilizer in the soil. But it will grow a lot of leaves fast.

I love this! I already got my trellis ready and started my morning glories I really hope I get flowers! I am hoping to combine moonflowers and morning glories do you think that would be an issue?
No it shouldn’t I did I’d it years with moonflower and blue morning glory they got big and lots of flowers

They are all about 5 inches tall! I'll keep you all posted.. they are all coming up Even the extra seeds I threw all around the house are coming up like behind the shed 😂 I uploaded a short video on my UA-cam page if you want to subscribe I will keep putting updates there 😊
I just posted a second video and they're actually starting to climb onto the rope trellis without any help from me. It's amazing how they find the rope!

@@naiwritaborah2092The old fashioned way... Lots of sun,,,, Moist the soil in the morning. But, my and the super secret... Add 1tbsp. baking soda to a gallon of water. Soak the soil around roots after your frost season has ended. :)

Yes There is no direct sunlight on my balcony
@@shigwtimelapse6738 Really? So they can grow long as they are outside even in the shade? We have a large building blocking direct sunlight from our area but is able to grow Helix Ivy slowly

Balcony, without grow lighting.if you do these,they will grow better use grow lighting
