FUN SIZE TARPON FISHING ON ISLAND TIME A KEY WEST 189FS

We were so lucky to spend some time with the wonderful @allisynwiller this week. I attempted to get her hooked into a bull shark or tarpon this morning but the fish weren't having it.
I threw mojarra, shrimp and cut jacks at the sharks and they just kept swimming by totally ignoring the seafood buffet I was spreading out for them. There were so many sharks today its surreal none of them took our bait.
At our last stop for the day @tanyambates hooked into a fun size tarpon and quickly landed it. What a magnificent creature. So powerful and agile. I'm so happy Tanya now gets to join the exclusive tarpon club.
Since the bite was so incredibly off today I guess Alli will have to come back for another fishing trip.
