3rd (that you gave to the local guy but we don't eat it) : o'iri. Yes this one bites really hard
4th : papae
5th : Roï

looks like la réunion ... people speak french and are known for overfishing and eating any fish. Like in other nearby islands.
Can i just ask. Why do you rig paddle tails upside down? Is that just how you do it or is that the nz way?
I like to have the white colouration facing down and the dark colouration facing up when the lure is swimming
@@JEWildsFishing yea makes sense. Kind of matches how real baitfish look with pale bellies and dark backs
@hanna2nv yeah that's right, that's why I do it anyway, I don't know if it would swim differently the other way round tho. I should probably try it
@JEWildsFishing in Australia we tend to rig the hook opposite to the paddle tail so that the hook runs along the back of the lure. Iv never seen anyone even the pros rig them how we do here. Its just unusual is all. But if it works then its not wrong. Thats my 1 rule with fishing
