I never thought much about Danielle Westbrook until recently watching interviews and podcasts with her. She is so honest and does not play the blame game. She accepts her mistakes and takes responsibility for them. I wish her well for the future and hope she continues to thrive.
I’ve watched many interviews with Daniella. As a recovering addict myself I am always looking for guidance and support. For some reason this interview has really resonated with me. She seems more honest, perhaps more vulnerable here than I’ve seen her before. It proves that battling addiction is tough , it’s a 24/7 process , and she said a few things that I will take away with me from this. Thank you Daniella, I wish you all the best ❤

Keep going Daniella. I lost my dad to addiction, booze was his addiction. My brother was also addicted to drink he also would take drugs I thought I would never see my brother sober it’s now 12 years since he took a drink or a drug and I am so proud of him. I just wished my num had saw him sober he is 56 and I am 59 my mum passed at 64 and my dad passed at 60. Keep your head up hun…..

I think the message about fame being like an addiction is really important.
It must be a challenge to be on the biggest BBC flagship soap at such a young age, thinking life is always going to be that way.

Today I'm 18yrs 7mths 3wks 4days clean from cocaine with one slip up. I've seen many podcasts of Daniella and relate to her. Dan I'm proud of you. One day at a time. I'll always be an addict, its my choice to not do it today. Big Love sweetheart ❤

Thanks Danielle great podcast I have being In addiction seen the age off 15 in few reabh true out the yrs got clean but got never stay clean lots my dad in 2022 so I really feel ur pain I went in to reabh in May 2023 and I am clean and sober seen then it the longest I ever be sober in my life I am in 12 step program and yes life is hard at times but I am doing it really relate to u when u say so times u don't want to get up but u do lots off love one day at time 💚🇨🇮🇨🇮💚🙏🙏🙏🙏

Is she finally clean?!?! She gives a good interview but I think Eastenders couldve given better care to her as a cast member even yes ultimately she is responsible for her choices and doesnt look to blame but she deserved support from work. Eastenders was a huge show back then and one of the most tv popular shows ever. I do wonder how she got into the drugs and do certain people in the industry supply to control you. It was very dark them days in TV we had Rolf Harris, Jimmy Saville, Gary Glitter, Max Clifford, to name just a few deeply depraved characters. You wonder being a BBC actress what she wouldve heard or known. Its good to see she is on the mend 🙏 Good luck Daniella 🙏
I agree, a lot of Eastenders cast were doing the snow…
Say what you want about the BBC, but the EastEnders crew were and still are brilliant. On another podcast, she was talking about how they did everything to bring her back back in the day and how they stood down for her (when it cost £250 grand a day to make) when she was sick because of drugs. They've brought her back to the show so many times. I really like Danniella, but I do feel EastEnders did the best they could with her.
