Hearing what a cute voice she gave Ray I'm just waiting for her to hear how she reacts to Lynne commenting on how Ray sounds like. As I'm watching, I haven't seen it yet.
I won't give any spoilers for the game, all I will say is that you are in for treat! EVERYTHING WILL MAKE SENSE BY THE END (even the lamp). I WILL however talk about the real dog Missile was based on. Keep those facts in mind as they will make the game's story a lot better. Missile was a Pomeranian adopted as a puppy by Shu Takumi in 2007. He was named after a dog that appeared in Ace Attorney 1. The dog in Ace Attorney was not a pomeranian and was only used in a throwaway gag in the game's final case (When Ace Attorney was adapted as an anime, however, Missile was retroactively redesigned to look like the real-life Missile). Shu Takumi really loved his dog as the trustly little canine pulled him out of some really dark periods of his life. He grew really attached to him and the two soon became inseperable, So, when the time came to make a game unrelated to the Ace Attorney series he KNEW he had to put Missile in it. At first the game's developers were hesitant to put in a pomeranian dog since they would have problems animating his fur. Shu Takumi, however, insisted because he wanted to immortalize Missile the way he was. The developers eventually relented when they met the little doggy and fell under its charm, and they went above and beyong to make in-game Missile as close to the real-life Missile as possible. In fact, Missile's barks in-game are recordings of the real-life Missile. This is how he really barked in real life! Shu Takumi also wrote a song about Missile called "Boku Wa Missile" (you can find it easily on UA-cam), three years after the release of Ghost Trick. If it's not clear, a bit part why Shu Takumi made this game was to tell the world how awesome his dog was. Missile passed away in 2018 at the age of 11, about eight years after Ghost Trick was released. Shu Takumi said that the valiant little doggy patiently waited for him to get back from the US, barked at him and snuggled up to him one last time before quietly passing on. Rest in Peace Missile. You might not be with us, but you will forever be immortalized as the BEST BOY IN GAMING! Keep barking up there.
Okay so short explanation for Shen. On the DS version, you use the touch screen to move around between objects. The top screen is either just the logo of the game (during cutscenes) or a big round space showing an image of the object you're on and what trick you can perform with it (during gameplay). The hourglass during the 4 minutes before death sections is also on the top screen. On the Switch version, they don't show an image of the object you're on and, as you saw, shows the trick you can perform next to your soul instead.
When I saw this notification, I gasped. I played the game blind like a week or two ago and now I'm obsessed with it. I'm so happy you're playing it, it's a masterpiece in absolutely every aspect.
Can I just say how much I love the references from ace attorney in this scene 2:00:34 ? Even the fact that the detective in blue looks suspiciously similar to Phoenix, without his iconic spiked hair in the back. The background music and the sound of the detective in blue saluting are all references to the game! I love capcom.
Sadly, as of Dec '23 the Twitch VOD preservation has worn off & Ghost Trick Stream parts 2+3 have been lost. Mayhaps Shen holds them in storage, but if not clips of the stream can be found on third-party sites
This game is so much fun! I played it through a few times but only now I got the following thought... it's basically inverted Final Destination for the people outside of the Ghost Tricks, with all matter of weird and improbable things happening to prevent someone from dying. XD
Missile is such a good boy, not worried at all about being shot to death by gun to the face, and more worried about his mistress. RIP IRL Missile (the dog the character is based off of)
I, too, like to randomly bring up all the things that could kill me and how convenient it will be when they don't even though they could while i'm about to murder someone alive. Just so long as this ceiling fan stays up on the roof where it belongs!
Girl l love 💕 your videos it’s so freaking good and amazing and you put so much hard work into it and you always make my Day a lot while more fun and funny

Man, I will never get over how much care and quality is put into these character animations.

Apparently, the barks of the in-game Missile are of a Missile that is another team member's dog, and the barks in Missile's Song are Takumi's Missile?

This is like Phoenix Wright but if Phoenix couldn't be fucked that day so it's just up to the victim to solve their own damn case.
Oh. My. God! Im so glad you're gonna play this Shen! Its quirky and amazing! Hope you have tons of laughs from this!

Damn you solved that murder machine one in two seconds. It took me so long to figure it out 😭
Not bad for someone who "doesn't like thinking".
Missile is such a good boy, not worried at all about being shot to death by gun to the face, and more worried about his mistress.
RIP IRL Missile (the dog the character is based off of)
first, she said the thing.
second, me when i listen to the bang of soundtrack
What did I do?

that’s a Missile-ass voice for Ray.
But then again… that isn’t exactly inaccurate.
