While he was a mechanically good hitscan player, his main heroes were not viable for 75% of the 2019 season, as seen by his lackluster Zarya play that led the Washington Justice to dead last in standings prior to Stage 4. However, unexpectedly during Stage 4, Corey magically turned a switch, and suddenly began to dominate the lobby with his Hanzo and Widowmaker play. Most notably, he led the Justice to a 4-0 victory against the then Vancouver Titans, who had only lost 1 regular season game prior to this loss. While this was a spectacular game and performance from Corey, it was all for naught, as at this point it was statistically impossible for Washington DC to have a spot in the 2019 Playoffs. He later did secure a Gold Medal finish with Team USA, mostly dominating with the same Hanzo and Widowmaker skills, before abruptly retiring to pursue Valorant in 2020 with Faze Clan. 1. Brennon "Bren" Hook is a British Esports Caster currently working in Valorant. However, prior to his Valorant career, Bren was an analyst and caster for the first 5 seasons of the Overwatch League. During Season 2 in 2019, the All-Star event took place, in which selected players from the then Pacific and Atlantic Division teams would face off in various OW-related festivities. One of these events was the Talent Takedown, in which broadcast talent (aka commentators and analysts) would compete against one another in friendly matches to determine which set of talent was the best. While not the most mechanically skilled player, Bren was the DPS player for the Pacific Side of the Talent Takedown, and dominated the opposition with his Widowmaker play. This led Bren to declare a challenge against any OWL player to see if they would dare to compete against his skill. The one player to agree, was then London Spitfire Main Tank Player Gesture. While initially overconfident, Bren would eagerly challenge Gesture to a Widowmaker 1v1 in a first to 8 kill lobby. While many fans expected Bren to easily dominate a main tank player, Gesture silenced any hopes Bren had by easily destroying him in the Widowmaker 1v1. Hopefully this helps!

i dont think its a hot take to say you could have leave on that list. he is a flex dps player but weve already seen him go up against elite widow players and dumpster them in owl before.
How is Lip #1 top hitscan player when he probably has the worst raw aim out of every player mentioned in the video? Unless this isn't about aim, but more results/gameplay oriented. Doesn't really make sense to make a top hitscan list but not consider aim as the main criteria though.
Results are important but a list like this should be more focused on aim, so some players that must be mentioned: 1. Sayaplayer (He was 4 years ahead of every other player of time aimwise, and even today he would probably be the best raw aimer in the scene.) 2. Kevster (If we're speaking mechanics + aim combined, kevster was also a couple years ahead of everyone else in the league, and probably the best overall hitscan player. He was still a few steps behind of Saya even at his peak though in terms of aim) 3. MN3 (Maybe not the best player, but definitely an aim prodigy) Also, sojourn is not a traditional aim hero, her aim mechanics are closer to CSGO with click timing and movement reading than raw mouse movement. Her railgun is also insanely big, making precision less of a requirement than other DPS. There's a reason good sojourn players often don't make good hitscan players on other heroes and vice versa, the aim style is completely different.
@@arigatou7483 what did I just read... you should be banned from ever commenting on this page again lmfao. that's not how the game works. If I used aimbot in the OWL I would have the best aim but still be probably the worst player. That's not all hitscan even is

if u know ball birdring is the best hitscan oat
Tbh, I think dafran has to be mentioned. In the early days of overwatch 1, he was SO much better than the other pro players. I still think he had the potential to be one of the greatest players in OWL if he ever tried hard enough. The only thing holding dafran back was dafran
At the end of the day, overwatch league was the most competitive form of ow we will ever see. Like you say he held himself back from
Being mentioned.
@@actuallymario7676 Yes, but similar to other sports like boxing, chess, football and etc , the modern times are always the most competitive ones. It doesnt take the feat away that he dominated his time and at least deserves an honorable mention. Spawntrapping your enemies in pro play is WILD
pre-haircut pge might just clear prime lip
Imo if the league lasted another2 years mer1t would be #1 with no discussion required
Mer1t is the best hitscan in ow2 and it's not really close. He should be on the list
Forgot backbone
Rip big boss pine and proper
Shout out to linkzr
i dont think its a hot take to say you could have leave on that list. he is a flex dps player but weve already seen him go up against elite widow players and dumpster them in owl before.
He did not dumpster elite widows in owl? His widow in 2022 was meh he got rolled by mn3, shy, lip, fits ect
10:01 and you put him in top 2?
just put him in the 3rd place at this point😭😭
Carpe is the saddest player of all time
He should be 3rd behind Birdring anyway
if quartz played in owl he would be top 2 or 1 for sure and where is kai?
Probably, Quartz is insane and Honorable mention for Kai.
i don’t think he would be top 2 or 1 😭😭😭
I’m not even going to say anything
Sayaplayer was the best hitscan period!!
Quartz owns the list
where is heesu 4WeirdBuff
Overrated
pge clears all these frauds unfortunately...
Carpe getting second place again
2:26 Actually Kellan was sexist and refused to play with Aniyun so...
Is that actually true or a rumor?
@@TheESPER was a joke casores said on uncoachable
Quartz?
Why isn’t dafran on here
uhm..? birdring ??
he gave him an honorable mention in the video and said why he didnt make top 5
Ans over birdring is foul
Dafran?
BIGBOSSPINE!!!!!
PGE MENTIONED
Qlm diff them all
PGE>LIP
make top 5 flex
Pine?
pge can do it
Too much clicking bias and also very subjective style of aim, who are your top 5 tracking aim players?
Not fits
should be happy kai proper leave etc
How is Lip #1 top hitscan player when he probably has the worst raw aim out of every player mentioned in the video? Unless this isn't about aim, but more results/gameplay oriented. Doesn't really make sense to make a top hitscan list but not consider aim as the main criteria though.
Tbh I don’t know the criteria but I would assume it’s player peaks, longevity, plus accolades in that case lip is most definitely #1
u are braindead it is funny
Results are important but a list like this should be more focused on aim, so some players that must be mentioned:
1. Sayaplayer (He was 4 years ahead of every other player of time aimwise, and even today he would probably be the best raw aimer in the scene.)
2. Kevster (If we're speaking mechanics + aim combined, kevster was also a couple years ahead of everyone else in the league, and probably the best overall hitscan player. He was still a few steps behind of Saya even at his peak though in terms of aim)
3. MN3 (Maybe not the best player, but definitely an aim prodigy)
Also, sojourn is not a traditional aim hero, her aim mechanics are closer to CSGO with click timing and movement reading than raw mouse movement.
That's not all hitscan even is
Actually gotta blacklist this dude from commenting ever again
pge better
2 min 1 view fell off
Edit: 7:53 You were 100% baiting with the first Pine clip right?
Of course, Pine should never be put in top 5 by anyone.
5:38 CLEAN?!?!
