I was born in June 1977. I can't put into words how much I loved growing up in the 80's. Great music, great movies, and the last great decade.
I was born in 75 and right now that's how old I feel.
And I couldn't agree more!
The 80's & 90's were so much different. I didn't want to be cooped up in my bedroom gaming online, Man we didn't even have mobile phones. All our entertainment was created outdoors and sometimes with 4 of us or 24. We didn't need social media, Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram. We didn't need any of that shit. These day's people don't wanna keep intouch, if it consists of chatting for long periods of time, even if that means over the telephone. I think I'd unfortunately be lying if I was to say I now look around and see a much safer world 🌎

@@richardristic3145 bit late to the game , but also born in 75, what a time to grow up! My daughter now 16, I so wish she had our times! As you say Tech, social media, mobile phones trashed it all. 😢. That said here I’am, midnight scrolling through sh*t on my mobile.😢

As a struggling young actor at the moment, I believe us thespians and film makers need to bring back originality. That's what the 80s era and the last 3 decades were all about, originality. Any other actors or film makers that are struggling to find work or already have work but need creative ideas, I am your guy.
I can't explain how this track makes feel it's like the 80's all over again and remembering Scott and booth walking home in teen wolf. Love it
I have to agree 💯 % with Steve cates because I was born in June , 1977 also and it was pure fun & enjoyable growing up in the 80's which in my opinion was definitely the last great decade . Not only because of all the fun of growing up as a kid in the 80's . But the 80's was one of the greatest decades for having not only several of the BEST movies & tv series's made but also no doubt some of the Best movie songs & soundtracks of all time. Including ( movie's) Footloose , Dirty Dancing, Teen Wolf, Grease, Back to the Future, FlashDance , Ghostbusters, ( tv series )
The A Team , Knight Rider , Dukes of Hazzard ( late 70's - 80's ) three's company, Fallguy ,Dallas .
Just to mention a few plus several other great movies, soundtracks & tv series 💛 So God Bless the awesome decade of the 80's. And I agree in my opinion the 80's will live on FOREVER

I was born in 1974 and I'll be 50 (fifty!...) in a few days. The age my old man passed. To be honest, I don't even know how that happened, I mean where has the time gone? The 80's were something else. I suppose it would be wise of me, when I'll be surrounded by my friends around my b-day cake, to think of the line "The candle on the cake is yours so take it, and make another wish that _should_ have come true".

It's funny I was watching Teen Wolf on TV today, brings back memories of my 8th grade year in 1985. WOW!! 28 years flew by so quick, wish I could have enjoyed those years more.
I love the 80's movies I feel like I'm a kid again
These clips remind me of the dreams we had in the 80s after storing these movies in my head. One classic dream I always remember but running though field of corn from the children of the corn, also getting chased by Return of the Living Dead zombies, then when I couldn’t run anymore, Mr Miyagi jumped out of nowhere and took them all out!! I’m in the bed fumbling around til I fell out and woke up!! And don’t get me started about how many times Freddy Krueger chased me around the city in my dreams lol I’m born in 78 and we had cable so I saw a super Ton of 80s movies. When Gremlins and Karate Kid came to the theaters in 84 my mom came outside on both occasions and asked me if I wanted to go. I, a 5 year old said “NOPE, I’m playing with my friends”. Man I miss not going to see the black man get chomped up in the snicker scene of the old lady thrown out of the window by the sped up chair lol or hear You’re the Best Around the year it premiered. Thousands more memories but I can’t fit em all In here. Just ran across Teen Wolf and remembered this song. Take care everybody! And for the record, the first two movies I remember see where in 1982, E.T., and The Toy with Richard Pryor. The Toy was one of the greatest movies ever for a four year old. Erick’s room was the best thing ever, then you have Jack Brown being your friend, sheesh!!!

Speak for yourself. My memories of the 80's include getting my assed kicked by teachers, students, my parents and even friends parents. Also shop owners and employees didn't even try to be nice to customers. People got away with murder back then. Not a happy time for me.

best tribute to the 80s but so sad :( born in 1988,I wish I was an 80's kid instead of a 90's kid. The 80's seemed like pure fun and innocence.

80 is magic....
So much 80's nostalgia! I was there and a teenager, and I agree we had some of the best teen films of all time made then. Fashion was about originality rather than labels and some great music too. But it wasn't a perfect decade. Horrible shoes for one thing. Apartheid was another. Plenty of human atrocities. Cambodia people? Ethiopia? Cold War ring anyone's bells? OMG and the writers strike? Killed some of the best damn television ever made.
My point is that it's lovely to remember the good, but if we can't remember the bad. We can't grow. And what I'm most proud of in being an 80's teenager is that we were mature and aware (possibly too aware) but we were awake and asking questions and we can't forget that.
Remember the 80's sure, but mostly remember the spirit we had then and reawaken it in ourselves! We can carry the 80's with us in spirit and continue to make changes for the better.
We don't have to be victims of the apathy. That's what we hated in our parents, remember?
