I think these restorations are fantastic, but I can’t help feeling there has been some help in making the item look really bashed up to make the restoration more spectacular 🤔
Would like to see your videos where you destroy the cars. Everyone.. well anyone with common sense can tell this was made to look abandoned so you could “restore” it. I actually like the abandoned look. Like it was a legit junkyard car. Can you show videos where you prep the vehicles for your restore videos?
Great Job giving it back a life it had when it was left and found in a mangled Condition,Now it looks like it has come off the factory production line ❤️❤️❤️❤️Some fiddly bits and pieces here to give it that authentic look ,Well done ❤️Love the remastered look and looks beautiful again for a 1950s car.❤
For future consideration, try using insulation foam to carve up things like seats. Much easier to work with, and would be really easy to add 3d details to, like the beaded stitching from the seats.
In general you ve done a very good job, may be you should. have streched the car, becuse its frame is still bent in the middle, such a nice detail in the wood work, I like the car because it. represented the design after the war, and. before the. trend. to turn cars into big wide space ships
DAYUMM, I don't think I've ever done several WTF per minute of a resto video... Not one thing of this "resto" made sense... Let alone boost the value on this model. 🤦🏻♂️
I have a tool like the twisted shank screwdriver you used in this video. This is the only one I have seen other than mine. Plese let me know who makes these tools. Thank you. I enjoyed the video very much. Especially seeing the tools you use.
Merci d'avance. Hello, could you get me the name of the manufacturer of this car? Thank you in advance.
Why do you not show the engraving on the floor panel, so we can see who it made and when. The brutal dismantling with a pliers is a pain to watch and prone to break something. I guess the model is not older than twenty years.
Great restoration and reconstruction of parts, However, not an $850 worth car. I mean this is no 1920's Buddy L, Steelcraft, Metalcraft or Wyandotte car. Great job non the less.
Richard here. Lo-riders aren't a personal favorite, I like the work, but I would have also like to have seen what was necessary to have gotten it to the "before" stage.
I appreciate the work you did to make replacements for the doors and the back seat cushion….
Amazing door inside panels.
All over a great job….
Great makeover for the simple tools and supplies you used
The whole car body are slightly twistwed ,especialy down and front hood. The color of peinture terrific.Try again to realign the whole body
I agree !
Completely agree. Poor quick job.
Impressionnant, maîtrise et patience. Félicitations

My grandparents had an old 49 Ford and now that I think of it, the color was an old brown color. Loved that old car.
I think these restorations are fantastic, but I can’t help feeling there has been some help in making the item look really bashed up to make the restoration more spectacular 🤔
Gee, ya think?
Ha! You didn't know my brothers!
All staged
@@savneetsinghrairai6823 I think these negative comments are staged. Maybe your whole life is staged and you are not who you think you are.

I have a 2008 Honda Civic that needs a restoration!
Awesome restoration 💯👍👍

patient imaginative work. nice.
It looks like someone ruined and aged this model on purpose - it's not an old model and the patina is artificial
Great job
So meticulous. Thanks . Have a nice day.
For future consideration, try using insulation foam to carve up things like seats. Much easier to work with, and would be really easy to add 3d details to, like the beaded stitching from the seats.
I love the custom work you did on this. Not a bad looking car for a Maisto. I wonder if the AMT Showboat model kit parts would fit on this.

Who did you get to pre-distress the model? The "scratched paint" was UNDERNEATH the plastics which would have protected the surface, and even INSIDE.
Yes this model does appear to be distressed to make it look old. I don’t like videos that fake it.
All of his work appears to use pre-distressed models... they all look similar.
where can i find a couple parts for that model? please
Very nice, thank you
I made mine full scale model all white mostly including the interior and also White wall hub cap tires chrome details on the vehicle 👍
What a wonderful restoration and the making of missing parts
This is the must amazing restoration of a model car I ever saw and the door you made that was so cool thanks for you jube
Thank you very much!
I think it would make for a better story if you showed the model being broken up! Looks like more work than rebuilding!
49 Ford this car saved Ford after WW2
Looks as tho it was purposely damaged/aged to make the video.
Good job was the body bend up on each end? Looked that way to me or it could have been just me.
$25.00 car maybe. No way is it going to reach 500 bucks!
1949 Ford "Shoe Box" nice.
It's still bent in the middle. the front end doesn't line up with the back end.
Awesome job
Thanks!
@@ShortRestorations your welcome
AWESOME Job 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the visit
Truly inspiring
très joli travail

Thank you so much 😀

Just wish someone would take it to the next level with working headlights and taillights we have the technology today we can make them better ❤

i made it
Very nice!
Amazing job.
wow!awsome work sir.very nice
Thank you! Cheers!
That was awesome sooo cool thanks for sharing have a wonderful blessed day today in Christ Jesus our wonderful savior Jesus Christ bye 😊
Por favor fale os produtos usados
I wonder why it has front disc brakes, were they around then? And yes, great job!
Very little about that replica is authentic. No disc brakes, and the engine wouldn't be blue.
I also awaited to see this one if you noticed. It's another old-timer roadster. Nonetheless, it has to be restored.
museum quality resto mod
I got a Lamborghini Aventador same scale n diecast .....some parts can be made but hard to make complex parts
isn't there a tool that looks like a c-clamp you can use to flatten out metal like those at around 10:15?
A dental water pick helps with cleaning crud out of tiny crevices!
Looks like a lot of work went into making this look like a junkyard car. To bad it’s all being undone.
A magnificent restoration. But the way you made the missing parts yourself, could be better.
Merci d'avance.
Hello, could you get me the name of the manufacturer of this car? Thank you in advance.
Did that toy car have an oil leak?
Felicitaciones
I don't know, he did a nice job on that door. It's not easy duplicating parts like that.
Uh, what a bad paint job. The rear bumper is mounted upside down, the whole chassis is bent.................
OK so you remove the front subframe and one shock goes with it
.then remove the second shock with your pin pliers ...why is there a 3rd shock ?
cool 😊
You really need to improve your painting skills. Still fun to watch.
Amazing Job and good luck ❤
Thank you! You too!
cool nice job ....man
The rear bumper is upside down, the bumper guards should point up.
Lindo 👍👏👏👏👏👏
Awful, lazy work.
I wouldn't pay even 5 cents for this "restoration"
This model looks so real… it looks as if there was even oil leaking out of the bottom of the engine😀
Fake
IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS GOING TO BE A TUFF JOB BUT YOU MADE IT LOOK EASY GREAT JOB
do you really always need pliers to remove an item from a model, looks a bit ridiculous to be honest
es un placer
nice job,, but the car is bent !!
Pozdrawiam
Looks good, but not $500 good.
Admire the effort, but i would have straightened the body out first as its bent
Qual escala dessa miniatura amigo

At 1:23 you can see that it's made by Maisto. It shouldn't be too difficult to find out when they made this model
knap gedaan
do you really want to make anybody believe that anyone on earth payed 585 euros for this piece of junk-
Happy to observ just like me
Why is it dirty on top and like new underneath?
Because its a fake video. He destroys them and then fixes them.
