Nicely done! I admit as a modeler for over sixty years, my first impression was that this car had had a little help to look as it did at the start, but the results are very nice. In recent years, having built one or more of most models still being produced, I have turned to eBay to find subjects long years out of production. I try to buy cheap deralicts and with all those years of experience and a big parts dumpster, have been restoring cars from the fifties - seventies. Very satisfying work. I strive for such detailed accuracy that when photographed, most people believe they are looking at the real car. Great fun !
Idk, the cobwebs look fake, the "dirt" looks off, there's no rust anywhere, the damages are pretty convenient (i.e. the engine and fender are busted but the plastic front lights are intact) and some of the inner parts are so perfect that they shine. I'm curious as to what scenario could result in so much damage, unless the kid who had it smashed it in a wall 2 hours daily, for 3 years. But yeah, I am skeptical.
Wouldn't it be easier just to buy a new one since it's still for sale in the shops. It is Maisto 1929 Ford Model A Red 1:24 €19.90 that came out in... i believe 2013
@@artgorecki2146 I know, it's entertaining as heck but builder already bought original clear plastics and front wheels and some other things ( like the bent solid front axle became steerable with no front axle )
I love the restoration work, but why does he insist on using tweezers and pliers to remove parts and pick up tools where he could just use his fingers?
It turned out nice. But maybe you should not put the next video right in the middle of the screen....so we could appreciate the finished product even better
At 5:12 we can see a California License plate FHD 085. It looks like it may be a sticker. It looks almost pristine. It would have been nice if the restorer had covered it with some painters tape and salvaged it. In the end there is no plate or tail lights.
I want to know why he didn’t powder coat it. There were 2 basic colors that that model came, black and cream. Orange was not even on the color list that Ford offered.
No, it started when Google introduced adverts ~ billboards in UA-cam videos, those in third world countries that are financially poor found they could commit fraud with them
As a diorama maker you had a perfect base to make a diorama before your restored it but I also l like your final result would make a Bonnie and Clyde type diorama with it
These types of diecast rebuilds are okay BUT! If it was a plastic model kit amt, revell, monogram plastic model kit you couldn't peel the phone out of my hand from watching. They're just better to watch to me. You're literally taking someone else's build and completely overhauling it better.
Omy God
I loved it ❤
You're a proffesionel

The issue is not how you restore things, the issue is rather how you prepare these things to look "unrestored"....
Still, I like part two, the actual restoration.
man another great job making the car look DESTROYED, thats where the real skill is!!!!
indeed nicely prepped for the restauration :p
There are so many channels about restoration in UA-cam that are nothing left to restore; so, they have to make it theirselves.
It's easy to spot a toy that has been doctored up to look destroyed. I actually repair toys. Been doing it for years.
So is this one of them?
@@wannabeme7206 Absolutely.
@@wannabeme7206 Yup! 😁
I don't think anybody doctored anything.
Anybody who owns diecast models does not treat them like this… guaranteed

I think you are very politely saying the "before" shot was staged. That was my impression as well. But the end result was very nice and meticulous.

And it's just wild that brand new parts just mysteriously appear and they fit perfectly.
I was thinking the same , i think the "cob webs" is hot glue, that's what it looks like
the cob webs look like strands of hot glue to me
All of these reservationist seem to find everything in the same condition. Like it is forced rust ect.
The models are torn up, just to be restored for the video. Disappointing to say the least.
Amazing that the screws come out so easily. I would have thought they would have been rusted shut.
Always amazes me when the rust comes off with the paint.
This was ridiculous. Or just sad.
really use your hands when taking it apart
and you can move a little faster, people ain't brain dead.
its very strange how at first no wheels tires and after everything is complete
There is a pretty strong replacement part market for these models. The windscreen and rear window are also new.
I call bs on this one.
He made it look dirty in beginning and in parts. Big bs on this one.
@@baja27100 agreed.
Nice hot glue cobwebs 😄
Parabéns pela ótima restauração! Aonde consegue estas miniaturas!?
Rather see the 'aging process'.
Garage find-hehe
Your add for the next video was blocking the view ...
Awsome Restoration
Fake, this maisto model are brand new.
WOW THAT WAS AWESOME GOOD JOB
the last minute with the preview of another video that takes the whole center is terrible
Wow , that's a great restoration of the '32 Ford Coupe at 1/24 scale , my friend !🏅🏆👍🏻🤝🏻
La condizione iniziale del modello è falsa

No, he simply bought two of them.😆😆
I love that car
Seems to me that for the initial parts cleanup, an ultrasonic cleaner would be much more efficient that a tub and brush.
As always, i liked the wreck much better.
Just curious…..how did the model car get damaged to begin with? 🤔
~ crapped by a fraudster to commit fraud with it 😠, how many adverts did the video have in it?
I love the restoration work, but why does he insist on using tweezers and pliers to remove parts and pick up tools where he could just use his fingers?
Bling ~ added by the fraudster to make it look more precise
I had two or three of these cars in 1971. I think there were three models.
Excellent, what a great job !!!
Per pulire bene tutte le parti, uso una miscela di bicarbonato/sale e aceto. Il risultato è strabiliante.
I wish you would of stuck with the original red paint color it was painted in , but the orange is cool too.
That is a great job on that 29 model A. Looks brand new and love the color.
I don't have a sand blaster but I've used Industrial Strength Goof Off to remove all traces of the old paint.

que chido me gusta las restauraciones pero donde encuentran autos así tirados quisiera saber...
My favorite model t roadsters 1929
Model T was only made until 1927. This is a Model A.
What did you use to make cobwebs?
"Before", and after. How do you tell the difference?
Eccezionale
Why are the names of the materials used not mentioned?
Looks good except the grill, lights and headers should have been painted in chrome not aluminum.
If you look closely, you will see that the cobwebs were made with a hot glue gun.
Find better ties to put on it
Should have found some better rear wheels that matched the ft.
I was thinking the same. Takes away from a nice restro.
let's just ALL embrace and except this new form of completely fake restoration entertainment. 'cause it ain't going nowhere.
WOW THAT WAS GOOD WATCHING HOW YOU RESTORE THAT CAR AWESOME
It would be nice to actually see the completed project without a large "see this next" bubble obscuring the image
It turned out nice.
But maybe you should not put the next video right in the middle of the screen....so we could appreciate the finished product even better
Ok next time

Hilarious, I love the use of needle nose pliers to remove parts….
A chapa do carro estava intacta depois do removedor. Que aconteceu com ela?
Awesome job
Excelente trabajo!!!! Saludos
To me its cool looking in junk yard form lol. Nice job thou looks amazing
deu nem pra ver o carro finalizado, entrou um link em cima.
WOW FANSTICGOOD JOB
Whats the deal with the needle nose pliers ?
This looks like as if I really did miss much. 😕
After all the time and expense restoring these toys, what do you do with them? Sell?
L’auto me semblait plus mal en point! On ne voit pas les corrections apportėes à la carrosserie.
time is merciless
I want to know why he didn’t powder coat it. There were 2 basic colors that that model came, black and cream. Orange was not even on the color list that Ford offered.
Why does it have mismatched tires & wheels?
Beyond fake. It's ridiculous how many people fall for this believing it's a real restoration.
Gostei dessa miniatura, bem legal!
un travail de ouf chapeau !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Equipping a bald man with a toupee is a job with few hats, but what, exactly, is a job of hat phew?
Where did you get your spare parts?
Precioso
wonderfull!!!
love what you have done but not the colour unfortunately.....
somebody had fun with the hot glue gun
Здравствуйте. Мне интересно почему машинка покрашена в оранжевый цвет, а не красный? Она же изначально была красной.
Hope that's not the final color can't believe you went to all that trouble restoring that an painted it like that
Как вы полагаете, все ли реставраторы на .youtube жульничают?
No, it started when Google introduced adverts ~ billboards in UA-cam videos, those in third world countries that are financially poor found they could commit fraud with them
Этот точно, облил с клеевого пистолета и испачкал, чем изменил картинку
Это хватило мозгов влепить ссылку на другие видео посреди экрана, да и еще в момент показа готового результата😂
As a diorama maker you had a perfect base to make a diorama before your restored it but I also l like your final result would make a Bonnie and Clyde type diorama with it
Is that Ford model A??
All that work put in to restoring it but no steering wheel ? It must have been hard to make it look broken especially with no rust on it. 😭😭.
Good job 👍
Why wouldn’t you make the wheels match? 😆
We’re did the new wheels come from
🖐🏻😃👍🏻
Electric toothbrush would have worked really well getting that old paint off
Even just a regular toothbrush instead of forceps with steel wool...
Come on man, its not that hard to find toy cars that actually needs a restoration.
Instead of this pre destruction crap...
Stunning Restoration, nice work. Thank you
Beautiful work 👏🏽!!
Awesome job!
It looked better in the before. I don't like Rats, they are always missing half of the car. And the half that is there is usually 2/3 Fucked-up.
Wo findet man so demolierte Modelle?

Who manufactures the car?
What's up with the needle nose to grab everything
Die verschiedenen Felgen versauen alles
Du hast recht, mein Freund.
It be cool as the car from American graffiti but the back rims don't look right on it
Ich würde gern auch mal sowas machen aber woher bekommt man ersatzteile die man nicht selbst herstellen kann?
Body pristine after wash??? What Luck! Not. . .
cool.
You are ruining your video putting the miniature at the end, we can t even see the result!!!
Why need gloves to do that job??? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
nice to bad u wheren t doing a real 29 a coups
This looks fake
Why not use tweezers instead of needlenose pliers (or your fingers) to remove things? Trying to be cute?
