The most touching and beautiful score from James Newton Howard, even more that "The Prince Of Tides". Elegant orchestration and a great performance by Hilary Hahn.
Oh, I enjoy your beautiful songs, James. Your songs transport me to the eternal and galaxy. Are you from the heavenly? From where does this idea come to your mind?
For me a movie could be rated for all part that is composed: idea, photography, actors and music! It's all an unique thing. The lord of the rings too should be shit if the soundtrack was "Mickey mouse" or "the Simpson" music track
The movie is massively underrated. I watched it again yesterday having previously watched it around the original release date, it was much better than I remembered. I think we had such a glut of good films at the time that we didn't appreciate it. It's a little slow but it has to be to build up tension and to give enough time for you to actually care enough about the characters that the drama is effective. It's a solid film.
It's been 18 years since this movie came out, and I still get goosebumps every time I hear this track!
One of the most beautiful soundtracks!!
I really, really want to say something about how much I love this...but I have no words! 😌
This whole soundtrack is just simply beautiful!!

I love coming back to this piece of art.
Love this music, and the violin/piano mix is perfect. I think I'll listen to this song on repeat about a million times while I go write XD
Alguém, na Pandemia, ouvindo como eu? Só penso jorrar de lágrimas neste sonido, porque de Jesus me recordo.
So heartwrenchingly beautiful. Thank you so much for the upload. Made my day. :D
Obrigado por compartilhar essa música!! Perfect!
Man I wish Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard would work together more often. They did for batman but haven't really since.
@Hayden Studer could not agree more. Zimmer is not that great.
So much Vaughan Williams’ Lark Ascending influence in this piece. Almost direct quotes in the violin
LOL
And yeah, it's kinda sad...
Seems to me like not a lot of people want to appreciate this INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL music....... c'mon guys.... :(
Música maravilhosa ❤️

ONE COMMENT? What is this, a Myspace update?!
Man, if only the movie was as good as the soundtrack.
it is.

The movie was beautiful
The movie is great. It may have some spots, but those don't bother me. Sometimes "perfect" movies are actually worse than un-perfect movies.
