I really enjoy your videos! I sit on a love seat in my living room with a light and watch FlossTube 😊Lizzie has purple hands from hand dyed snow. Thanks for sharing your stitching with us
Another great mother daughter video. Congrats on #60! I like to stitch outside when the weather permits, otherwise I stitch in my chair while "watching" tv. Lizzie made a purple quilt with her hands while watching the snow come down.
Loved all you shared on your video! I have a very comfortable LazyBoy recliner in my bedroom that I stitch in. When I worked in a department at a university, it was in my office. The students loved to spend time sitting in my “comfy” chair. Lots of wonderful memories and it truly is comfy.
I cross stitch in my happy place in the bacement in an old recliner. You guys are a hoot!!! Enjoy watching you soo much and have been with you since the beginning.
I stitch on the couch in my living room most evenings and sometimes in the daytime. I have a good daylight lamp which is a great help. I usually watch Flosstube or listen to an audiobook while stitching.
Yes to seeing kitted projects. Purple was my favorite color in high school. Many hands make light of work. Lizzie is a great name. Quilt is creative interest of mine. Snow , I hope it snows this year.
Love your hanging quilt! I loved the Daisy Barrel! It was in Fairborn, Ohio. Used to drive down there and spend several hours. The best of both worlds in that store. I sit in my chair in the living room most of the time. I have all my notions, lighting and projects by me. Happy stitching!🪡
I love to stitch when we go camping and on my couch at home. I also like sitting on my deck to stitch and with pumpkin season here, sitting outside is even better!
As always love to spend some time with you ladies. Well when I knit I can sit anywhere (I even do socks while walking on the treadmill), but stitching I love to sit at my desk and watch flosstubes. In the winter when there is snow my hands get so cold they turn purple, and my friend Lizzie (lol not really) swings by and brings me a pumpkin spice coffee and warms my sole.
Love your videos, thanks for sharing. Fall is my favorite season to stitch and I also love stitching anything with chickens. I normally stitch in my stitching room but also love to stitch outside when the weather is cool. I go with my husband to a local pond and stitch while he is fishing. Purple
Great video! Beautiful stitching!! I love to sit on the couch and stitch, footrest up, dog on my lap, light over my shoulder with the magnifiers on! : )
Always enjoy your videos. Love seeing what you both have been up to. I most of the time stitch on my couch in my front room. Occasionally, in bed. Quilt, Snow, Purple, Pumpkin. Take care!
I purchased a new chair a few months ago that I am enjoying. It’s in the living room so I can watch tv while I stitch or UA-cam on my iPad. Your finishes are beautiful, you both always do such a nice job. I enjoy seeing your quilts too as I also am a quilter. Take care
Love watching your videos! I stitch on my couch most evenings and in my bed on a Sunday morning. Sometimes I work on a Lizzie Kate or something seasonal with a pumpkin or snow. 🎃⛄️
Thanks for another fun video visit. Great stitching progress! My favorite stitching place at home is a recliner with curved wooden arms, there is a bright floor lamp and a side table next to me and a small basket of project bags with WIPs in front of the table.
As always, a fun show to watch. I am immobile so my stitchy spot is a lift chair in my bedroom. I have every gidget and gadget in the floss tube industry! My happy place is sitting in stitchy chair with a good, magnifying light and a project on my Lowrey frame listening to a good book on tape or watching my favorite sports teams: Seattle Mariners and Seahawks.
Great video! All your stitching is beautiful! Perfect idea of the velcro for the bow on the Dash Away All piece. I may have to try that. I stitch in my bed. Happy stitching! Lizzie wears gloves on her hands to play in the snow!
I stitch in my recliner in our family room…either with flosstube or the tv. I have a stack 😅 of project bags next to it, but usually only stitch on one for awhile. It doesn’t annoy my husband or anything. 😂
I usually stitch in my stitchy chair in my living room with a floor stand Ott light. I have my IPad perched precariously on my chair arm and I am listening/watching floss tube. Oh, and I have a foot stool for comfort.
To answer your question - I sit in what I think is called a slipper chair (an armless upholstered chair) in my living room, with a small table in front of me, with a floor lamp with 2 100 watt lightbulbs to my left. I can watch the television across the room, but more often than not, I watch floss tube videos on my iPad on the table in front of me. Great video as usual!
Another great floss tube , have i really watched 60 episodes , because you ladies are my favorites . Thank you from another tall stitcher . I love Pumpkin season , the best about fall and Halloween 🎃. I am sitting on our love seat and i only share that space with the cat or my granddaughter . 🧵🪡❤️
Stitching by where the sun comes in in my favorite chair. Tend to stitch early in the day before my eyes get tired is best. Ahhh, the Great Pumpkin moment is getting close. Which reminds me. You know what Pumpkin becomes when you throw it up in the air? Squash 😂😂😂😂❤❤ makes me hungry for Pumpkin pie now with whipped cream..
I love to sit on the screened in porch to do my stitching. I love the lizzie purple hands right next to the pumpkin snow. Happy stitching. Love finishes from days past. 😊
1 Purple is beautiful to stitch on 2 Their a lot of pumpkin for Halloween 3 We use are hands for praying. 4 Lizzie has some neat patterns 5 I belong to a Quilt group it’s a lot of fun 6 Snow is right around the corner I enjoy stitching in my Living Room
Congrats on your 60 episode milestone. A purple pumpkin would be fun. I stitch in a comfy desk chair at the table in my sewing room using my wonderful table frame.unless stitching in hand on aida.
I love the quilt of the day!!! Love your shirt, Jen! KIT PARADE - YES!!!!!! Carol’s cardinal piece looks so good! Favorite place to stitch is my living room on my sofa - aka my stitching spot. 😍 Thank you for sharing! 💚💚💚
Wonderful video ladies. We have a reclining love seat that I like to sit to stitch on. I do cover both cushions with an oversized bath towel to catch orts that miss the ort jar and keep my floss and scissors from falling between the cushions.
I stitch in our family room on the reclining sofa. It is the only place in the house that has good lighting. Snow, I hope we get some this coming winter.
Jennifer, when using the magnet attachment just glue your magnet down where you would like it. Then when that is dry, attach the opposing magnet, or washer, put glue on the side facing you and then apply your finished piece. I push down gently and let sit for a few days. I put a towel on top of the piece and a book on top of the towel. When you're ready gently use a little pressure, to remove the stitched piece, until the magnet or washer releases from opposing magnet. I know I was stumped at first too.! My favorite place to sew and cross stitch is in my sewing room. I sit on my sewing chair at a table facing the tv to do my stitching. Happy Fall!
The Daisy Barrel is where my cross stitch journey began! It was actually in Fairborn, just east of Dayton, and I was so sad that it closed. I have two stitching places. Downstairs in a recliner in the family room and upstairs in my sewing room (the Tower) in a less than comfortable chair.
My favorite place to stitch is at my LNS. She’s open late on Wednesdays and there’s nothing better than stitching with others. Otherwise, I have a “corner” of the couch with all my stitchy stuff in the table beside me. I heard you mention liking snow…I hope you’ve learned to keep your hands out of it!!!😊😊
I stitch in my craft room. I have a big table and a great ergonomic chair. So I can sit comfortably for a good while and stitch! Enjoying my current project that has a pumpkin in it. Would love to have a Lizzie Kate pattern.
My favorite of your stitch this time is Jenna's choice of the little pillow with the tree 🎄 🩷. That quilt of the day is almost perfect. Needs a label 😅💗 speaking of Jenna she so good for you Jennifer. We need her to work her inspo on you to finish a quilt! 💞☺️ Halloween pumpkin 🎃 are so pretty. I stitch at a desk with an Otte light.👍
You guys are so fun! It was hilarious to see Jen get all excited to see that you bought The Primrose Cottage smalls book! lol I love Pumpkin pie so much. One of my favorite for the season AND year. I also love to Quilt. Those are gorgeous.
I usually like to stitch in my lazy boy chair in the living room. Then l can still watch a movie or tv. Sometime l do go outside and stitch in the shade if it's a beautiful day.
I kit my projects up as I get the materials together and put the projects in a really useful tote with a lid so keep them dog glitter free. I highlight the project in purple in my notion app to indicate that it's kitted up. I organize my box and app then with icons including a pumpkin, snow flakes,. I stitch in a recliner with either a qsnap or scroll rod set
Congratulations on your 60th episode 🎉🎉🎉 Pumpkin I stitch in my Stressless chair in my living room. If I'm going somewhere where I'll sit, I will bring a project or two.. I stitch in hand, so I don't need a lot of space.
You have both been busy. Lovely WIPs and finishes. I stitch in a very comfortable office chair at a former kitchen (now craft room) table. I like having a spot for the lamp, chart and other things you need, sitting at close proximity. I like Lizzie charts a lot for their size and cute designs. And I know snow is inevitable, but do we have to wish for it already?? I would rather not. Have a great sewing retreat and see you soon.
You ladies are so cute! I wish either my mom or daughter would stitch. Love the Lizzie Kate. I finished that one recently and I am also stitching Cardinal’s Promise at the moment for my dad’s passing. Love all your finishes! And I do love to stitch Halloween! In my corner of the house. I have a little corner where I stitch in the living room.
When attaching magnets - if you stick them together and attach them to one of the surfaces (keep magnets together), let them dry (still with magnets together) and then apply the glue to the other magnet and attach them to the second surface they will be aligned,
I like Sullivan's better. It's cheaper and doesn't tangle/knot like DMC. But I've only seen it at Everything Crossstitch and their shipping is high. Thanks for addressing my question about kits. I'm sure I didn't miss that episode, but as Carol says, I've slept since then. :) Pumpkin, hands, snow. My favorite place to stitch is my bed. My dog has enough room to be comfortable because if she's not touching me, she's not happy I have south-facing windows right behind me for great light and my feet are elevated.
Another great video! It is Flosstube’s fault.😂 Give me decent lighting and I will stitch anywhere! I have a chair, both upstairs and downstairs that I will stitch while watching TV with my husband. On nice days I stitch on our porch where I can enjoy living on a lake. This summer has been way too hot for that, though. Enjoy your time looking for the right college for your son.
I stitch in an ergonomic business chair at a vintage Art Deco dining table in front a picture window that looks out on the 15/16 holes of our 55+ community (we don't golf but we like the greenspace). I have looked at the store but have not seen any purple pumpkin.
The purple pumpkin is amazing and the hands are amazing and lizzy is just to cute....the quilt is amazing and I'm a Quilter...and winter is wonderful, but snow always is interesting in the South...please take care and be safe
Congrats on 60 episodes! So Fun! I stitch in my recliner with my daylight floor lamp right beside me. I love to get my hands dirty when I carve my pumpkin
I am not looking forward to snow. My son carved a pumpkin yesterday and I made jam out of it. I love quilts though I haven't done any of them yet. Lizzie Kate has fun charts.
First time watching your channel. I watch Helen D and she mentioned you so frequently I figured I’d better go look 😂. Enjoyed it very much! Pumpkin, Hands
I have a Poang chair and ottoman from IKEA that fits my tall body really well! I have a little mirror-top side table for my Surface Pro and little three-tiered cart from Target that holds all the stitchy supplies I need for whatever project I'm working on.
Wow, y'all got a lot accomplished lately!! Congratulations on 60 episodes! I've been watching you since #1 and you still crack me up every time. 😄 I love WYS sock yarn! I have umpteen balls of it but am the slowest knitter on Earth so no pairs of socks (yet) to show for it, just a few half-socks and lots of patterns in bags with the appropriate yarn . . . sort of like my kitted-up stitching projects; sigh. I typically stitch smaller projects on the couch or in a chair (usually with the cat "helping" me or sleeping in my lap), but for the ones on big scroll frames I like to sit at a table so I can use a stand to hold the frame and stitch two-handed. Can't do that with a cat in my lap. 🙂I do take my stitching with me on trips and will sit anywhere inside or outside with good enough light or a plug for the portable OTT. I don't cross stitch in the car; knitting/crochet are the car-time crafts for me.
Beautiful finishes, I especially like the beaded tree pillow! I have fondness for trees, all kinds, to stitch and fell in love with yours. I stitch in a comfortable armchair using a lighted magnifying lamp. Usually, Floss Tube or music is playing on my computer. One of my Autumn stitches a few years ago included a purple pumpkin. Enjoy the beginning of the new season, hopefully the weather will be cooler for the rest of the tennis season.
I stitch on the corner of my couch by a window. Plus a 3 way lamp, ott light, and a magnifying light. And of course glasses! Lizzy was stitching with her hands on a purple pumpkin quilt in the snow! How was that lol
Hello lovely ladies, it's always a pleasure watching your channel and see all the beautiful stitching, sewing and knitting. I stitch 90 % in my family room sitting on a fabric rocker with a portable tv stand in front of me. Happy stitching! Lori
I would totally love watching a kit parade from you ladies, my vote is yes please! Congratulations on #60! I know you both stitch a lot of models but I was wondering if you are ever sad to give it up for the shop and want to keep it for yourself? Lol! Have you ever stitched one for the shop and one for you because you loved it so much? I stitch in my living room in my comfy recliner with my magnifying light and my cross stitch stand as I stitch two handed as well, all while watching floss tube on the tv of course! Lizzie had to dig her pumpkin out of the snow! Lol!
Your flosstube episodes share so much good-humoured banter and stitching content with viewers. I enjoy thoroughly each episode. My favourite finish was the Simply Christmas tree pillow. I smiled to myself when you had the discussion about its (possessive) and it's (abbreviation). I have a bee in my bonnet about grammar quite frequently. My husband's favourite comeback when I comment is " common usage" which turns me into a curmudgeon. I had watched Brenda and Laura just before your channel and noticed Brenda correcting hanged (person)to hung (object). Perhaps flosstube should be renamed Grammartube? Jennifer, I sympathise with you about veterinary diets for dogs. One of my two dogs is on a hypoallergenic diet. Her food is fivefold the cost of my other dog's food. However, the food is keeping her well and that makes me happy. I love to stitch sitting in my spot moulded into the sofa. I have a magnifier and lamp to the left, one dog draped over my lap and one to my right. Bliss. Thank you and take care, Linda.
Yes to the kit parade! 🎉 I stitch on the couch watching floss tube & sometimes in my office when I am in a stitch zoom group meet-up. I love your finish of “Winterly Sampler”, just beautiful. I love the fringed pillow. ❤ When I saw the patriotic tiny town, I was amazed - looks great! First time to see it stitched. I’ve often wondered how soon do you see snow in N. Indiana? I’m from San Antonio so we only get snow once or twice in 10 years & nothing that sticks. Thank you for the videos full of all the great information & inspiration. 😊
Congrats on 60 episodes! I love your videos! I would love to see a purple quilt in your background (or did I miss it already?). I normally sit in the living room on a recliner to stitch, unless I’m meeting with friends, then it’s Panera Bread for several hours.
The Daisy Barrel was in Fairborn, Ohio close to Dayton... I mount the magnets, then put the washers on top. Put glue on the washers and the project on top of them where I want it.
Congratulations on 60 episodes 😊. Love the finishes. I sit on the couch or lazyboy chair in my little stitching spot in the living room. Hands snow quilt Lizzie
Jenniffer, that t-shirt is so true!!!! Beautiful finishes!!! I stitch in my desk.
I enjoyed your video! Thank for spending time with us. Lizzie sewed a purple quilt with her own hands after playing in the snow. 😊
I really enjoy your videos! I sit on a love seat in my living room with a light and watch FlossTube 😊Lizzie has purple hands from hand dyed snow. Thanks for sharing your stitching with us
Hi, I enjoy your videos and the questions you ask fellow stitchers. I stitch on the sofa. Thanks for sharing. pumpkin, hands, lizzie, quilt, snow
Another great mother daughter video. Congrats on #60! I like to stitch outside when the weather permits, otherwise I stitch in my chair while "watching" tv. Lizzie made a purple quilt with her hands while watching the snow come down.

Great video Two Tall Stitchers. So many beautiful things you have finished and are currently working on! And the opening? Loved it!!!!
I love a purple pumpkin. My hands get cold in the snow. Congrats on 60 subscribers. Lovely quilt and stitching. Happy stitching.
Thank you so much for the mention. Loved your video! Happy stitching!

Your finishes are beautiful, you both always do such a nice job. I enjoy seeing your quilts too as I also am a quilter.

Love your video! I’m looking forward to some snow this winter.
I stitch in my recliner in our family room…either with flosstube or the tv. I have a stack 😅 of project bags next to it, but usually only stitch on one for awhile. It doesn’t annoy my husband or anything. 😂
Always nice to see you! I stitch at my kitchen table. 🌻🌻🌻 Terri

Hi ladies love your stitching and banter. Gee I wish it would snow here in Perth Western Australia! Take care xxxx

I stitch while sitting in my recliner chair. I have a floor light to my left.
Imagine if Lizzie had some snow on her pumpkin quilt. 😊

Congratulations on your 60th episode! My favorite place to stitch is with friends at Persnickety Stitchers on Thursday evenings. ❤
Lol!
Thanks! We will answer your question when we film today.
We usually get a few dustings before the holidays, but then real snow in January.
Congrats on 60 episodes! I love your videos! I would love to see a purple quilt in your background (or did I miss it already?). I normally sit in the living room on a recliner to stitch, unless I’m meeting with friends, then it’s Panera Bread for several hours.
Hi. I enjoyed your video
I stitch up at the dining room table as I need a light and magnifier…hands
I love pumpkins, hands, the name Lizzie and an occasional quilt. Yes to a kit parade.
The Daisy Barrel was in Fairborn, Ohio close to Dayton... I mount the magnets, then put the washers on top. Put glue on the washers and the project on top of them where I want it.
That was such a good store, wasn’t it? I thought about it when we were in Dayton this week
Congratulations on 60 episodes 😊. Love the finishes. I sit on the couch or lazyboy chair in my little stitching spot in the living room.
Hands snow quilt Lizzie
Kit parade please! I really enjoy stitching on my lanai when it’s not too freaking hot 🥵 .
I love Bonnie and Madison! So sweet and talented. I have a chair to stitch. I have a little table and a three tier cart right there.
