Hello Pam and Steph! I just wanted to pop in and let you know how much I adore all of your videos. I found Flosstube in 2020 when I started stitching again, and your channel was one of the first. I have enjoyed watching you both ever since. I stitched a bit when I was much younger, but put it down during high school and college. Then in my early 30's I found knitting and was addicted (so like you Steph, I am also a multi-hobbyist). It wasn't until late in 2020 that I found stitching again and realized what I had been missing. Beyond all the lovely patterns, fabric and floss, stitching makes me feel so much closer to my Dad who passed away in January 2020. He was an avid cross stitcher many years ago. He loved to spend his evenings watching TV and stitching away. Now every time that I pick up the needle, I think of him. Thank you ladies for the lovely videos and even though I'm not in a stitch group, I feel like I am when I watch you both and the other flosstubers that I enjoy. Best wishes for 2022 - Sarah
Love you ladies! We live in Scotland and watch your show every week. This Saturday we got a question right on a quiz show called 'The Wheel' about the full name of the Titanic (RMS Titanic) because of Steph! Goes to show flosstube is educational too! ❤🤣
I’m sure you probably know this but every year on April 15th(I think) the coast guard drops a wreath in the last coordinates of the Titanic. Did you ever get to see the Titanic exhibit? Got to get this sampler ❤️❤️❤️
Steph, I am just amazed at how you can do that math in your head! I have worked as a cashier and in customer service and had to handle a lot of cash and change but I still can't do math like that!
Suzy Reno’s FT#22 she showed how she did a box pillow (@2:45 Lizzy Kate pillow). So you don’t lose the stitched border on Return of the Whales. I hope she does a tutorial video for that one day. Happy New Year!
I have been trying to fix my kazoo for so long now, and thanks to you, it plays beautifully again. 😜 who knows how many kazoo players you’ve impacted. 😅 sorry, could not resist. Thanks for another fun episode!
Oh my goodness I will need to get the Titanic Sampler asap. Total Titanic addict here. I love watching your videos Pam and Steph. You always make my day a little bit brighter 😊.
Thank you for watching our WIP parades! You will not be disappointed with Belatrix. She is magnificent. The book on the pedestal looks 3D in person. Wishing you health and happiness throughout 2022, Shelia.
Hi Pam and Steph! Love watching you every Sunday, as I have been doing for a while. When I first found you two my husband caught a glimpse and said he couldn't tell who was "driving the bus." Was it Pam? Or was it Steph. I said "Well of course it's...." and then realized I didn't know who was "driving the bus" either. Steph sure can steer, but at the end of the day, Pam's the mom! 'Nuff said! Anyways it doesn't matter who drives, you are both a weekly delight and I am so thankful for your perseverence to the craft--of stitching AND UA-cam. Have a great week!
What a great video!! As soon as I saw the TPP pattern of the week, I had to pause the video and go purchase it and print it out!! Woohoo!! It is fabulous; thank you so much to TPP. I enjoyed seeing lots of projects and the fun of 12x12, WIPGO, and planning. So much fun; I truly enjoyed it. Happy stitching…………………..
Sooo enjoyable! I love the banter between the two of you. My girl lives in Colorado and I live in Maine… sometimes I get a lil jealous 😬. Lucky lucky mama and you too Steph 😘
I'm doing stitch from stash this year after I went a bit nuts with purchases in 2021. My wishlist has definitely grown! Thanks for the smiles and chuckles during a rather tedious work day...
Silk & Ivory is a 50% silk, 50% Merino wool blend, manufactured by a company called Brown Paper Packages. It is a classic needlepoint thread used to stitch on 13 mesh canvas (13 stitches to an inch.) The company also makes a thread called Trio which is identical to the S&I colors but is three-ply and can be separated to use a single ply on smaller 18 mesh canvas. My very favorite needlepoint thread🥰.
Happy New Year from the U.K.!! Well I added loads to my cart just need to remortgage the house to fund it! 🤣 I love everything about the Titanic, it fascinates me. Was lucky enough to go to Belfast with my mum a few years back and we went to the titanic museum. Also we visited the dock where Titanic was built. It was an amazing experience. ⚓️
Pam and Steph, another thoroughly enjoyable video. You made me laugh and enabled me at the same time. Pam, you are the "straight woman" for Steph. It's fun to watch when those one-liners just pop out. Steph, I sometimes chuckle out loud when it's obvious that you are entertaining yourself with your comments. You go girls! Happy New Year!
You girls hadme laughing out loud a couple of times today - the loose kazoo and Bellatrix - lol! Thanks for the delightful video again today. Have a great week ❤️
Hi Steph and Pam. Such a fun video. Loved all the new patterns. Pam I sympathize with the few stitches on each new start. The time flew by. My daughter called this weekend and said “Mom, what’s with all the new charts and very little stitching?” I heard some one suggested making it 24 hours long so you could stitch more, but I thought it was the perfect amount of time. I think you are right in that prepping is the key to getting even a few stitches in. Mine was prepped and ready, chili in the crockpot so hubby could take care of himself. I was tired by midnight. Thanks for such a fun News Years Eve. Hope you do it again. Steph, I have been obsessed with stickers since I was little. I handed them out in the classroom when I taught now that they gave such great personalized ones I give them out to friends and family. Enjoy them. It us an art form. Your layout was great. Happy stitching and s stickering.
Happy New Year Pam and Steph!!! You ladies never to cease to amaze me. I love your stitching pieces but I love your mother daughter bantering back and forth. I find myself always laughing out loud. Keep up the good work!!! Just love you two. Btw…. I love Stroopwaffles!!!!! It’s a great memory of my dad. We would have coffee and the delicacies in the morning.
Oh my, you two just crack me up! Always look forward to tuning into your Flosstube. Big Thanks to Pam for the #nye12x12. Sorry I had to turn it into a weekend 12x12, but I now have all twelve starts and am excited to pull one each month to work on in 2022. Thank you for sharing your stitching and thanks for the enabling! Happy New Year and all the best to both of you in 2022! Let's make it a great year!
I got my Twin Peak Primitive order in and am picking out a fabric for a project bag. I ordered a hard copy and am looking forward to receiving it. I have a lot of charts to kit up but the anticipation is great. Another great video, took notes on fabrics etc. and through the season downloaded some freebies and a few charts on my Kindle, lots of stitching ahead. Have a great week ladies🥰
Happy New Year ladies! Steph, so glad the relationship with TPP is still going somewhere 😆 I got thrown for a second there. Your Blackbird Christmas sampler looks beautiful!Pam, love your 12x12 starts! You have such an awesome collection of patterns. I have that LHN Nantucket in my stash and look forward to getting it stitched one day. If you do 12x12 next year, maybe you could have a 12 starts version and do a 12 wips version as an alternative as a way to give a little last bit of love to the projects still needing a finish😊 Happy stitching!
So much for my cross stitch diet . . . I’m trying to save up for Stitch Con. Looks like that’s not going to happen!!! I love everything you do. Thank you for sharing your goodies with us and enabling us. You two always inspire me to be a better stitcher. And yes, Steph, those of us that are multicraftual sometimes have trouble keeping track of ourselves and staying on track with our projects. A detailed planner and book to record our crafty endeavors help a lot. Have a wonderful week!
I have to start watching you on my laptop so I can comment. I usually watch on the big tv and its a pain to comment on that. I chickened out on the 12X12, Pam sorry. But I do have a few new starts for the New year. Always looking forward to your videos. A lot of stitching going on here since I have covid and have been self isolating since Christmas
Happy New Year 2022 to you both! As always great video with enabling, laughter, sharing and much more! OH, the card from the Netherlands with Santa that is slanted....it is most framed worthy.. Love ya❤😁🙋♀️
Hi ladies! I love your videos, laughs and projects! I’m submitting my #stitchharmony this week from Western North Carolina, Waynesville to be exact, just west of Asheville. I’ve only been stitching for about a year and a half but have fallen head over heels into the world, aside from in person stitchy friends. Hoping to find people close to me as well as retreats or stitch days in the area! Thank you for all that you do, it’s a highlight of my stitching routine!
Hi MaryAnn! I live in Voluntown, CT just over the RI border from Exeter. I also don’t stitch with anyone because I don’t know anyone close by who is into cross stitch. I would be happy to get together with you! Tammy D
@@JustKeepStitchin Hope I'm doing this right.... Thanks for connecting people. I met the two of you in November at the NH retreat. Hope to see you next year! Tammy
Little did I know that I could get medical advice from Just keep stitching!! I will check my kazoo for a lose wiggle as needed and look for some new haul as well. Thanks DR's Steph and Pam. I love starting off the week with a good laugh. That's also the best medicine you can get. Hope this year brings you both the best stitching ever. Imagine how much more we could stitch if we had help with cooking and cleaning and running errands and such.
You can do a "mattress" finish on your little pillow so you can see the edge! Vonna probably has a tutorial. Yes, this was a Shopping Video! Thank you for sharing and inspiring!
Thank you for letting me live vicariously through you with all those new starts! My husband says I should finish a project before I start another. And I look at him and laugh and laugh and laugh. 😆 All kidding aside, I do have quite a few WIPs and am also trying WIPGO 2022 for the first time to try and make some progress. I'm supposed to go to the StitchNorth retreat in Toronto in April (assuming COVID doesn't cause problems again), so I wanted to ask if you would talk about smalls exchanges. I don't know what to choose. How big are smalls usually? How do you choose a style? a finish? I know you are both experts, so I would love if you would be willing to talk in detail about what's involved. Thanks and happy new year!
I didn’t have time to do the lives! Lol I did manage to start 12 x 12…but had to make adjustments as I was gone from the house from 10am to 4pm…so gave myself permission to start at midnight and started one at midnight and one at 1am and then one more before I left the house…then played catch up the rest of the night!!! But by 11:30pm I had 12 starts. My starts are all smalls…most are ornaments. I figured it would be good to get started on my next Christmas stitching! 😀 I have continued to work on one of them and will switch off and on which ever one I feel like stitching. Thanks for the challenge…it was fun though it did get a bit intense at times! lol My husband just didn’t understand starting that many…he said I should be concentrating on finishing that many!!! MEN,!! They just don’t understand the fun of starts!!! 😀 Happy 2022!
Good morning, Pam and Steph...Happy New Year!! I just TOTALLY enjoy watching your videos!!!! I laugh out loud so much with you guys!! I turn everything off in the apt and I get comfy for the evening just to watch you wonderful young ladies....since the walls are thin and I'm a single senior, I'm sure my male neighbor next door wonders what tickles my fancy every Sunday night LOL..LOL..please keep these videos coming as you, Pam and Steph, are a breath of fresh air!!!
Very fun video from you two this week. I loved seeing your NYE 12 new starts. I’m looking forward to enjoying all your videos this year and always eager to see your stitching progress and goodies.
Hi Pam and Stephanie, how nice a wine advent Pam? You must now have a decent collection. I know how you feel on your haul and collecting all of the threads and beads for a project that caught your eye. I found a nice pattern on the chatelaine website and didn’t know it before till now all of the threads and beads are pretty but also add up. It’s a good thing that I’m not ready to start it yet.
Hello ladies. I tried to post a comment but it disappeared so I’m trying again. I wanted to give Pam an idea to go along with her weather wise pattern. It is another weather quote “ mackerel scales and mares tails make tall ships take in their sails.” I stitched that around the postage stamp size pattern from the same chart for a friend. I sent you a picture of it in instagram. Thank you ladies for all your info and entertainment. Best wishes for the new year.
Wonderful way to start the year. A WIP marathon would be a hoot & no doubt the carts would be overflowing after such enabling. You’d have to do them in separate weeks so we could get our bearings in between 😂 Steph inspired my first chart purchase of the year, but I too love Titanic history so I had to (if you’ll pardon the pun) jump in…all good things in the new year.
Started my first silks project this New Years - Ann Roberts Hands Across the Sea sampler. They are certainly fun to work with! Pam your starts are all so impressive and inspiring!! Steph cannot wait for your sticker / planner video! Love to you both and Happy 2022!
Happy NewYear! Thanks for sharing all of your goodies this week. I’m going to attempt some restraint, but I have to have Bellatrix! Bella Filipina charts are no joke! They are as stitch and bead heavy as Mirabilias. Have a great week and be safe!
I love your “Red sky” stitch. My grandmother said that ALOT when I was growing up (I think it was the LA smog at sunset😜). She also said “Many hands make labor light, especially when it was time to do the dishes. Happy 2022!
Hi Pam and Steph! Happy New Year! Pam I love the Red Sky pattern, my hubby my sailor would love that one. Steph, the Titanic pattern is really neat. I know what you mean about Gary enabling...I have gotten Bellatrix too with all the beads etc. I love it. I plan to start in the next couple months. Have a great week!
I always look forward to your Sunday evening videos! They help me get a fun start to my week! One more then vacation and I can get all my trees taken apart and all the Christmas decor down and packed away! I always wait until after Jan 6th so a couple more days won’t matter it takes an entire week of hard work and relabeling etc… love your stitching and I really enjoyed your 12 by12 New Years starts Pam it was great fun and I had about 4 hours to participate after we hosted a late Christmas due to flu! It was 🤩 fun! Blessings to you always ladies and may they continue into the New Year💖
It was a "add to cart" kind of month in Dec. I better behave myself for awhile. I didn't get to watch the 12 X 12..I'm sure it was a lot of fun though. I decided to be good and I did only 1 New Years Day start. But hey, I can always do a new start whenever I want! Happy Stitching!
It for sure was. There were so many phenomenally good sales this year, I couldn’t help myself either. I did start more than 1 project for the new year, but I only had 1 active wip left from 2021 and only 1 wip in timeout - for sight reasons (which will be much better when we’re in the new house with access to good lighting again) - so I don’t feel bad whatsoever about starting more things than I normally do in such a short time. Happy New Year!!
A very happy new year to both of you! I had every intention of participating in the NYE 12x12, but when noon came around here in AZ, I just couldn’t pull out that first project. The good news is that I have a dozen projects kitted and ready this year when I am itching to start something new. I’m also very interested in the Titanic (birthday of 4/14 - the day the ship hit the iceberg, though it sank on the 15th) and have been watching for that Titanic Sampler since I saw it completed. I’m so very glad you mentioned it and it will be my birthday start this year 😁
Steph, I’m absolutely dying at your obsession with the titanic, I thought I was the only one! When I was a kid my dream was to be a “titanic scientist” and I wanted to actually visit the sunken ship. I read tons of books on it and even got coal from the actual titanic (my dog did eat a piece but I had brought the other piece for show and tell so it was safe!) Thanks for making my day
Titanic added to cart. Aargh! I have already spent a nice chunk of change last month and this month will be no different. Have a large floss order with a chart or two to order mid-month. Waiting on two small chart orders to arrive. Hubby had me order myself a Potoky frame. Not sure when that will come. Now to save up for a Lowry floor stand with extension and Q-snap holder. Glad you two had such a lovely holiday. Stich on, stay safe, stay healthy but please stop enabling me!!! :}
Whenever you stitch, times fíes by (because you are just having so much fun!). This is my last day of vacation 😭😭😭 … watching you two makes it a heck of a lot less sad! Look forward to every Sunday to watch you ladies! Hope you have a wonderful new year! Take care!
Hi Pam and Steph. I have a question about using the shelf liner with your qsnap? Does the liner mess up the stitching because of the rubber? Thanks. See you tonight
Afternoon ladies. I'm a week late. We had a storm hit here. We received over 5 feet of snow and then 2 inches of ice. Then 50 mph winds! My husband and son in law are linemen so they have been gone. Lots of power outages and messes! First off, the comment of all of us they have been here a long time, as in you guys too. Crack me up. And then pam saying, grab your pens and pencils. Err, what are we writing on then Ms Pam? Lol
Hi Ladies! Happy New Year! I feel like I am on an even keel now that all the Holidays are over. Still have some odd things to put away but I can take a deep breath and exhale.
Would you ladies please consider doing a very brief demo (or at least an explanation) of beading a cross stich project? Do you complete all the cross stitches first then go back and bead, just as many folks to back stitching at the very end? Or do you bead as you go along? Do you stitch all beads of one color first, then switch colors, or do you use a clear floss and just beed as you go, changing colors as you move across the design?Do you use floss or some other material for the beading? I have been unsure what the best method is and as I try to research how to proceed I find there are many approaches found on the internet. I trust your judgment and expertise. Thanks for considering this request. Happy New Year. Here is to another year of watching you two every Sunday night! Thanks for all you do for your subscribers.
Amazing video like always thank you Pam and steph you ladies are awesome ! And yes definitely definitely lots of I candy all lord hold me accountable 🤣🤣
Silk & Ivory is 50% silk and 50% Merino wool. I use it when I do a needlepoint canvas and I last bought some before the pandemic began. I'm assuming you can still purchase it. I sure hope so as I might be running out of a color I need. (gasp!!)
I love all your stickers you show. I may have to start the whole planner thing. I will then be dating five times over as I already, cross stitch, make cards, scrapbook and quilt....lol..makes me sound like a floozy...lol..and yes I totally understand when you are doing one craft you are thinking of the other. It's scary in my head sometimes as all the other crafts are yelling at me to come and play.....
Ok, now I have another comment. Re: Steph's Titanic sampler: I just finished a really good book about the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald and am now OBSESSED with finding the perfect pattern for the lighthouse near where the Might Fitz sank. Whitefish Point Lighthouse, I think? At any rate ... I love shipwrecks and disasters at sea. Fascinating. Another recommendation: Into the Raging Sea about the sinking of the El Faro during Hurricane Juaquin in 2017. Could not put it down! xoxo

Thank you so much ladies for seeing all of your beautiful stitching and plans…..wow. Lovely seeing you, love and blessings for 2022. X
#stitch harmony. I’ve moved to Pensacola FL, I haven’t found any stitchers. I would love to meet other stitchers.
Loved hearing your voices and seeing all the things! Happy Belated New Year! 😃
Pam thank you for the shout out. I fell out of my chair when you said my name. Looking forward to seeing you start Bellatrix. Another fun video.

You ladies make getting back to work so much easier. I watch during my work day in my home office. XOXO! ❄️☃️❄️
Love when Santa is away, Mrs Claus will play lol! Cant wait for that and the Hello From Liz Mathews to get released!
Oh you two! You are keeping me in stitches. And oh Pam! Have another glass of wine 🍷, Hilarious 😆
I have been trying to fix my kazoo for so long now, and thanks to you, it plays beautifully again. 😜 who knows how many kazoo players you’ve impacted. 😅 sorry, could not resist. Thanks for another fun episode!

I live in Voluntown, CT just over the RI border from Exeter. I also don’t stitch with anyone because I don’t know anyone close by who is into cross stitch. I would be happy to get together with you!

Hi Tammy! Please email me and I will put you in touch with Maryann.

Hi MaryAnn! I am close by. Have you been to StichNewEngland? Great new store in North Attleboro.
Steph was just in rare form and had me cracking up!!! Pam,co grats on bn your 12 x 12. It looked like fun. See you next time!
Thanks for sharing!
Happy New Year Pam and Steph! Here’s to a stitchy 2022😀
Happy New Year ladies!
Y'all CRACK me up. That's all. Happy New Year!!!
You can do a "mattress" finish on your little pillow so you can see the edge! Vonna probably has a tutorial. Yes, this was a Shopping Video! Thank you for sharing and inspiring!
Good idea!
Happy New Year ladies! Looking forward to all your videos and enabling.
Have a great week! Love seeing all the stuff! 👍
I’m looking forward to enjoying all your videos this year and always eager to see your stitching progress and goodies.
excited to see some of the wips progress. Really nice patterns
Happy New Year ladies! You had me in stitches this week. Thanks so much. 💗
Happy stitching!
Happy New Year!🎆
Hello ladies.
Got it!
Another great video - so many pretty projects in the works I'm anxious to see them in progress. Happy 2022
Started my first silks project this New Years - Ann Roberts Hands Across the Sea sampler. They are certainly fun to work with! Pam your starts are all so impressive and inspiring!! Steph cannot wait for your sticker / planner video! Love to you both and Happy 2022!
Happy New Year!!! I enjoyed your visit. I wish you a blessed and productive year!
Happy NewYear! Thanks for sharing all of your goodies this week. I’m going to attempt some restraint, but I have to have Bellatrix! Bella Filipina charts are no joke! They are as stitch and bead heavy as Mirabilias. Have a great week and be safe!
Hey guys, show your cats,we would love to meet them!
I love your “Red sky” stitch. My grandmother said that ALOT when I was growing up (I think it was the LA smog at sunset😜). She also said “Many hands make labor light, especially when it was time to do the dishes. Happy 2022!
Happy New Year Pam and Steph!!! Hoping 2022 will bring you both good health and much happiness, and lots of stitchin!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I wish you happiness, health, wealth and lots and lots of stitching!
Blessings to you always ladies and may they continue into the New Year💖
Thanks for the laughs and enabling! It's going to be a great New Year! ❤😊
Got you!!!! It is a fantsatic episode ladies! We loved every minute of it! Happy New Year
Happy new year! Happy to be along for the ride!
I’m so very glad you mentioned it and it will be my birthday start this year 😁
I’m a multi-hobbiest too Steph so I totally feel ya!
Steph, I’m absolutely dying at your obsession with the titanic, I thought I was the only one! When I was a kid my dream was to be a “titanic scientist” and I wanted to actually visit the sunken ship. I read tons of books on it and even got coal from the actual titanic (my dog did eat a piece but I had brought the other piece for show and tell so it was safe!) Thanks for making my day
Titanic added to cart. Aargh! I have already spent a nice chunk of change last month and this month will be no different. Have a large floss order with a chart or two to order mid-month. Waiting on two small chart orders to arrive. Hubby had me order myself a Potoky frame. Not sure when that will come. Now to save up for a Lowry floor stand with extension and Q-snap holder. Glad you two had such a lovely holiday. Stich on, stay safe, stay healthy but please stop enabling me!!! :}
Whenever you stitch, times fíes by (because you are just having so much fun!).
It does not.
Lol
Im still catching up! Thought I could after all of the Flossmases but then came ALL the WIP parades lol!
Hi Maryann, I’m in Richmond RI. I would be happy to stitch with you!

Hi Deb! Please email me and I will put you in touch with Maryanne.
I bead after all stitches are done. I use floss that is the same color as the bead.
@@JustKeepStitchin Does the bead go between stitches or in the center of the X? Do you go up and down in same hole or use different holes?
Could not put it down! xoxo
