Big thanks for your video, I recent bought a van identical to yours and it was already lifted, after crawling around under it I think they used the same lift, looks like 1 inch in front and a 2 inch spacer in teh back but it sits level and looks nice, you answered a lot of questions.

Wow, this is perfect for me! Have an '00 E-150 hightop (old & over 200K mi. but in great shape....and yes I have had, but fixed on all eight now, the blown spark plug issue!) purchased that way a coupla years ago as a bare-bones & low-cost mobile office. But now decided we'll turn it into a camper/weekender van for wife & I. Problem is, even w the hightop (which is more stylish but not as super-high as others), my 6'-0" ht. means my head always bent over significantly; a dealbreaker for this use as far as I'm concerned. Have discovered how wheelchair conversion cos. drop the floor on these Econolines (just the width of the side barn doors, between major floorpan supports) about 4" which is the gap they have above frame. But I need to also add these critical 2 more inches for my height; not interested in making it look all "off-road-y", just 2". Great to see how easy AND cheap to do this!! Thank you!

Hey C&Q, I bought this same kit for my ‘03 E450, but Ford uses a M20 bolt so the 3/4 thread Extenders don’t fit as you noted. I’m concerned that the smaller dia. 3/4” stud will wear the knuckle spindle oblong. Thoughts? I’m having trouble finding a longer M20 partial thread bolt at 230mm+.

Also could be your wheel width and offsett affecting the rubbing along with if spring are sagging or maybe it wasn't a true 2" lift(since you said the springs were bowing a little bit may be an indicator that it was your springs sagging a bit). Anyways glad you hot it figured out. If I absolitely need to on mine I'll just do a little trimming/massaging but only if necessary. When you went with the 3" lift did you change shocks?
