👋 Hey everyone!
Welcome back to another Single Take recording video. This is where I listen to a song, practice it a few times and then just go for it on a 1-time recording take 🥁
This time up, it’s an absolute classic, Smooth by Santana ft. Rob Thomas. Love this track, such a groove and allows you to express yourself and really let loose!
I like to do these 1-take recordings to show something less polished. There’s lots of perfect drumming videos out there, and I don’t think they really show the amount of practice and effort that needs to go into mastering a song. I like to give you guys something a bit more raw and less perfect. So yeah, there’s mistakes for sure, but I did my best with a single take.
