@@madad0406 you're in for a wild ride! there are accusations of racial microaggressions and full on terrible behaviour on set and stage. she's known to be extremely difficult, but she's trying to rehab her image right now. some want to give her a chance, others want to throw the whole woman out.

I’m from San San Diego and I went to New York to watch her shows. I love her! She’s so talented!
I didn't want to believe it but maybe a sabbatical to heal her voice might be in the cards?
I didn't notice excessive strain or improper technique. She has been in Hadestown now since the beginning, and no matter how good or trained a singing voice is, Broadway shows can wear it down. Several phenomenal singers have experienced vocal damage as a result of their roles. I would imagine her voice could use a rest just from having done Hadestown for so long.
I love her singing so much! As soon as I heard this song, I thought it was perfect for Eva and I was right!

I will say, she seems to have picked up some tongue and neck tension, and I really hope she’ll get it figured out because she’s got an amazing voice, and it’s a little concerning to see her struggling in places she used to have no issue.
i saw from IG that she just came off a 10-show week from Hadestown before this show and maybe that explains why she struggles a bit here
@@kimdale3820 I’m sure fatigue has a lot to do with it. It’s normal for technique to start to go when we feel tired, and over time, we can even pick up bad technical habits.
I’ve just noticed the rasp and tension has developed over the last couple of years, especially the past 12 months.
She might be somewhat tired because of Hadestown, which is making her "compensate" with unwarranted tension.
I saw her like two weeks ago in Hadestown and she sounded perfect - it sounds like she’s a littleeeee sick or something imo but honestly she still sounds great! eva at her “lowest” is better than most at their best haha
She’s a great singer but if there’s a problem with her singing is it endurance. She often sounds tired and that was already a problem during her Miss Saigon runs.
