As an artist working for a client or on a commission, you do what the client wants and make it work. Sometimes, if you're polite and reasonable you can change a clients mind, but in the end you're not working for your own sake. Especially with something like tattoos, where someones going to have something permanently on their skin. It's not your skin to mess up with something unwanted, even for the sake of the competition.
@@hel117 again it's free. If you're a canvas and sign up for this you should know what you are getting into and know you might not get the exact tattoo you want because these artists have certain criteria they are trying to meet.
Have to disagree in this particular instance. Out in the real world, it’s different, customers feed you. But this is a competition with limited time and criteria that must be met. The canvases sign up understanding the risk and in return they could possibly walk away with a free amazing tattoo that would’ve cost hundreds to thousands to finish.
It feels like when they stick a canvas on a day with a theme that doesnt fit what they want it's a set up for drama. Being able to convince someone to let you do something that benefits you instead of them doesnt sound like a necessary skill for a master artist. You got a free tattoo sure, it looks shit later but you got what you deserved not letting him do something that could get him sent home.
Holy snappin duck crap that was a mean tattoo artist. How can you blame the client so bad? Like there are ways to have an actual conversation to get a mutually beneficial tattoo for the competition
The artist is so in the right this dude got a free tattoo and didn't make it under what the contest wanted and then thinks he deserves 50,000 for laying in a chair and doing the tattoo they wanted. He acts as he paid for his tattoo he's on a game show.
Jesus you people are dumb. He wasn't asking for money, he was making a point. "Unless you're gonna split the money" = of course you're not going to split the money so stop bringing it up like I care; I care about the tattoo that's going on me forever.
imagine shitting on the guy who got tattooed by saying he's greedy. but he clearly said it was a joke. he's a client, he wants something and he deserves it. AS A CLIENT.
but what he said was greedy! he haggled him as if he was a mere merchant at a cheap flee market. he brings this ugly concept of money into a situation that should've just been about yes what the client wanted and the tattooer's artistry. I wouldn't do what Kyle did but even if that guy was a client thats just disrespectful.
I hate when canvases come back for any reason other than receiving a bad tattoo. Like dude, quit being cheap and shell out some money for another quality tattoo.
Well these people are trying to prove they're the ink master which involves handling customers ya know? If you get a tattoo from someone who calls themselves a ink master you expect it to look good and is pleasant experience
This is a bad tattoo , you are on ink master how can you tell me you have to stick to one kind of tattoo style and you want to be called a master of ink. point blank whether he won or not that crappy tattoo is permanent on his skin so he should have a say, that's not unreasonable . Then the tattoo design was bad ass but he did a shitty execution of the style. A master is great at all parts you can be a master of ink and only stick to your best.
The tattoo faded to shit and the detail pretty much washed out of the tattoo. This arrogant joke of an artist doesn’t deserve the title of an ink master if he’s not able to do tattoos that his customers actually want.
that tattoo wasn't done properly that's why it didn't hold up well. care of your art is important and without it fading happens. however that was a shit job...
Jason Jones actually I have a tattoo and my tattoo is the same color it was when I first got it ! He didn't take care of his tattoo a tattoo doesn't fad that easily he didn't take care of it so that's his loss
I remember Kyle being such a nice guy on season 3. What happened? I mean, here I think he was right, but the explosive behavior on his later appearances had nothing to do with how cool he was on season 3.
You’re telling me the canvas looks like that and can take care of himself let alone a tattoo? Maybe don’t go In water or direct sunlight for a few weeks after getting it done.
I actually kinda feel for Kyle. He was at the mercy of his canvas and it just so happened that the canvas wanted something that didn't really fit the challenge. He did kinda screw Kyle over, but it wasn't entirely his fault. The best way to make sure things like this don't happen in the future are to pre-screen the canvas' and make sure what they want actually coincides with the challenge. I've seen this kinda thing cost artists several challenges in the past, and it's annoying because it doesn't give them the ability to properly demonstrate their skills.
I mean if someone has the guts to enter a show to proove that THEY are the ones who should get the title of 'INK MASTER' they should've known that this is no playing around and that stuff like that could of happened at any point. Either you quit if you can't handle a tattoo out of your comfort reach or you try to do the best to make it as amazing as possible and make your client happy. The tattoo that Kyle made was poor as hell. It wasn't the aftercare that was bad it was the tattoo artist. And now Kyle had the guts to get off like that on his client who earned a shit tattoo just because he wanted a tattoo that was out of Kyle's reach? That's being a complete douche ya know? The only thing that guy had in mind was money and not the guilt that his ''canvas'' actually recieved a permanent faded af tattoo which looked like it was 10-20 years old. He obviously realistically deserved the 'drop out' from the show. I myself wouldn't ever wanted to get tattooed by someone with that douche attitude. Therefore I don't feel bad for Kyle honestly at all. I 100% know that if he did such a bad tattoo for you which is permanent btw until you are able to get it removed by laser you'd be pissed af too. As a tattoo artist you either have it or don't have it.
I wonder how many clients he gets so far after this kind of personality of his exposed. I hope it was worth it to lose great amount of potential clients in the future for the sake of one hundred thousand dollar being arrogant like that
I know it’s some shit people just say on the web, but he’s actually my “uncle”. My mom was dating his sister in law, so growing up we (my brother and I) spent a lot of time with him and he was always great. He’s not a hot head like this in real life, the lights and camera got to him on these shows. He was always the one who would do stuff like turn the house into a haunted house for Halloween (still my favorite Halloween ever), have us slinging candy bars door to door to learn about entrepreneurship, and just a bunch of fun shit.

@@hunterbusken3638 um. Yes when it's free it's still not your skin.
I know these shows are clipped together to make it dramatic, but With Kyle I think they just let it run. Dude is a savage and I dig it
"Kyle" well say no more...
It 100% makes sense that Kyle is named Kyle
His name is kyle what did You expect?
Lol misread the title, didn’t see the word “goes” 😂
It's always *Kyle* that has a short temper. Always *Kyle*
Gotta love that creative editing
I love Kyle to pieces, but he did go a little overboard on this
It feels like when they stick a canvas on a day with a theme that doesnt fit what they want it's a set up for drama. Being able to convince someone to let you do something that benefits you instead of them doesnt sound like a necessary skill for a master artist.
You got a free tattoo sure, it looks shit later but you got what you deserved not letting him do something that could get him sent home.
Kyle is a hot head for sure but he’s also right in this situation
Lol guess I'm the only one that loves Kyle 😂
I love him too
kyle is insecure and immediately resorts to anger because he knows his work isn't the best.
The confrontation sounds exactly like an I think you should leave skit, Kyles angry voice sounds just like Tim’s
I love kyle. OMG. I'm definitely gonna start watching this redemption thingy to see him.
Kyle can't own up to his mistakes and responsibilities.
My name is Kyle and I do punch drywall from time to time
imagine shitting on the guy who got tattooed by saying he's greedy.
but he clearly said it was a joke.
he's a client, he wants something and he deserves it.
He’s not a client he never paid for it
People who has that kinds of anger issue completely gone or cure when they face to more stronger person then them 😂
To be honest I’m with Kyle on this one
Ohh boy ohh boy crow up kid.. Sombody stole your Candy... You want a baloon now 🤦🏼♂🤦🏼♂🤦🏼♂🤦🏼♂🤦🏼♂🤦🏼♂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is my uncle danny 😂😂😂😩 hes my dads uncle !! 😂 da black sheep we call him
What’s his name
Okay Kyle is the one guy I would never fuck with. His anger is so bad he might actually kill me. lol
I hate when canvases come back for any reason other than receiving a bad tattoo. Like dude, quit being cheap and shell out some money for another quality tattoo.
A lot of the tattoos that comes back are genuinely bad, but what do I know I've only ever been able to watch some small bits of the show on you tube
Well these people are trying to prove they're the ink master which involves handling customers ya know? If you get a tattoo from someone who calls themselves a ink master you expect it to look good and is pleasant experience
If you saw the finished product, after time has gone by, you could see that the tattoo is a "bad" tattoo. A tattoo should not fade that quickly
0:34 definitely equal saturation on these pics 🤣
I grew up watching Kyle .
Thank you Kyle
This guy is gonna be at the council bluffs tattoo convention over Valentine's wkend. I'd like to see if he's all show for the cameras. Punk ass dude
it has A lot to do with how you take care of it
that tattoo wasn't done properly that's why it didn't hold up well.
care of your art is important and without it fading happens.
however that was a shit job...
Jason Jones actually I have a tattoo and my tattoo is the same color it was when I first got it ! He didn't take care of his tattoo a tattoo doesn't fad that easily he didn't take care of it so that's his loss
Penguin Love I said it was poorly done.
I never said that anything about your tattoo.
collin8915 yea I think this guy just didn't take care of it to well
It's black and gray tho. It shouldn't have faded like that even after 10 years.
Somebody get Kyle a Monster before he “goes nuts” again.
That went south so fast!
I remember Kyle being such a nice guy on season 3. What happened? I mean, here I think he was right, but the explosive behavior on his later appearances had nothing to do with how cool he was on season 3.
Kyle needs knocked out. His personality might improve
Lol go knock him out then buddy😂 you fucking “warrior” you😂
@@ianthompson3038 I’d rather fuck you up instead tough guy
@@ianthompson3038 bitch boy drop your addy
Why is he yelling lmao like...
Chill out bro😂
Not a big fan of Kyle, but I don't believe for 1 second that hes solely responsible for that tattoo to wash out so badly.
Kyle is the epitome of the stereotype 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hold up I think this guy is the real villain. Looks like he asked for something overboard to try to force him to strike a deal
Ohhhh naw he would had got smashed yelling in my face like that
You’re telling me the canvas looks like that and can take care of himself let alone a tattoo? Maybe don’t go In water or direct sunlight for a few weeks after getting it done.
Kyle Dunbar walked so that Tim Robinson could run!
Kyle's voice is better in french
Tellement.
That’s the canvas’ problem. Wouldn’t look so bad if he had taken better care of it.
I hate the way the production crew seems to make no effort in screening the canvases. So irresponsible for both artists and canvases.
All these tv shows trying to stir up drama 😂 but I love it
I wonder how many clients he gets so far after this kind of personality of his exposed.
He was always the one who would do stuff like turn the house into a haunted house for Halloween (still my favorite Halloween ever), have us slinging candy bars door to door to learn about entrepreneurship, and just a bunch of fun shit.
marcel dw Also, to answer your question, he’s doing very well business wise. Him and his wife travel the country to tattoo conventions and are making really good money. They had a tattoo shop that did well, but they like doing what they’re doing now more.
