Hmm, sorry definetely not. Dr. Wily Stage 1+2 in MM2 are legendary (ever heard rock version of it?) and also Dr. Wiley Stage Music 3+4 in MM3 @ 9:27 rocks better then 1+2 😀
@@bluepalm84 Much respect for MM2 and Wily stage 1. Legendary tune and lots of great covers. But the music in MM3 has such better production quality and nuances. When that first Wily stage music hit, you knew something major was going down! 😤
@@ImGigantor To compare the "technical specification" does not hit the genious composition (melody etc) in the earlier version of MM, for that "more modern" ways of sound production on the NES platform were not developed. The younger the games on a platform, the better the "production quality" to use your words but still: music is more than the quality of BMG as you can see in the very modern interpretations. Lets say MM was one of the games that always (especially in the early series versions) had that superior soundtracks in almost all stages and menues. I think that was necessary, bcs some levels and bosses could rape your mind. 😀
