I do notice I have a hot spot about 1/3 in from the far right. Hot spot is about six inches from the back of the griddle and about 6-10 inches from the right.
My brand new griddle top has dimples on cook surface from welds underneath and coating on front outside edge flakes off and it's never used..so disappointing
I have seen some complaints about the cooktop finish on one of the Pit Boss facebook groups. It seems like most people are getting them replaced by the manufacturer under warranty.
That’s odd. I guess you will need to drill the holes. Doesn’t seem like a big deal. Not sure what the IDK is for. The griddle is amazing. Drill the holes and put the handle on. Start cooking.

I never use mine on high but I can tell you at medium on my 2 burner I'll usually get around 400-425

Odd that you mention the positive of the tool holder, yet you display your tools elsewhere. Are the holders a positive feature or not.

On the bottom shelf there is a factory sticker. It has a small sticker with numbers and letters. That’s your serial number.
