What a beautiful and powerful tribute to one of the most amazing women of Westeros. To me, Rhaenys was to House of the Dragon as Lady Olenna was to Game of Thrones.

She didn't even do that much against the army. Taking down Sunfyre was the real deal. They had 3 dragons and now only 2. And one of them is not ridden by someone who would ride out to war.
@@rodrigovaccari7547 Sunfyre wasn't death actually... but Aegon is never the same, had terrible scar, and in constant need of poppy milk (antipain herbal) after that incident

I hoped she wouldn’t die just yet, injured, sure, but not dead. That line and her and Marley’s expression in the end made me shed tears.

Yeah I was hoping they tweak the storyline like they sometimes do for the show and had her just massively hurt or something, like out of the war for the first 1/2.
I'm usually a stoic guy, but I definitely shed a few tears when Meleys turned to Rhaenys in her final moments.

I was most saddened with their deaths. Ive never replayed a death scenes even in GOT but I couldn’t help but torture myself repeating that last look Meleys gave Rhaenys. It’s so heartbreaking.
What a lovely tribute. My heart when she turned Meleys around not once, but twice. 💔
She became the Queen of the Skies and The Dance of the Dragons. Courage, wisdom, sacrifice and honor have rarely been shown in such a short, beautifully brutal, nearly wordless, pivotal scene.

I prefer to call her the Queen Without A Crown. She never inherited the throne but every quality she has shows she deserved it💖

I can hardly breathe with excitement every time I watch "House of the Dragon," just waiting for Rhaenys and Meleys to appear! Rhaenys has this incredible conviction and authority that you hardly ever see. They are such an epic duo! Without them, I don't think I'll be as pumped to watch anymore.
Rhaenys' lines were always on point and delivered perfectly by Eve Best. The act of not fleeing from battle is her "order of things". A character of honour until the very end. Meleys must be very proud of her rider.
They were my favorite dragon riding duo in the show. Rhaeyns showed so much power and wisdom even beyond the battle field - her command for leadership, respect, and even empathy was powerful. Her and Meleys were the most experienced in combat and had the clostest bond. Thank you for making this beautiful tribute to two of my favorite characters in the show 😭 RIP Red Queen and The Queen Who Never Was!

I am going to miss Rhaenys so much, and Meleys was a bad ass as well. Any other rider and dragon would have ran when Vhagar showed up. But they went head on with the old lady.
I read the book and I knew it would happen, but actually seeing it broke my heart. May she be avenged.

Rhaenys and Meleys were both my favourites I can't stand with their death 😭. She and her She Dragon both were true brave queens and they are both kingslayers as well in my opinion. She had the fastest Dragon in the seven kingdoms but she never avoided a single time and fought against the biggest dragon alive with bravery. A queen who never was but a queen of hearts she forever will remain♥

She deserved this, and it was beautifully done. Still best character in Hotd... maybe not the most loved but the best hands down. My interest in the series dropped a whole lot after episode 4

There is no totally good or bad character in game of thrones. Every evil has positive and every good has negative sides. But she was one of few characters who was totally good with no flaw. No no I am not crying! 😢

Rhaenys was the character I was excited to see in live action, and imo, Eve Best killed it.
Ngl, her death for some reason made me very sad. She was one of the best characters, and she went out on her own terms, a true dragon rider. It was tragically beautiful.

Feel really bad for Corlys. The man has lost so many people--his daughter, his son, his brother, his grandson and now his wife. Of course, his son is still alive, but he doesn't know that. Looking forward to seeing his reaction to Rhaenys' death. Out of all the couples on the show, they seemed to have the strongest and most healthy relationship.

Rhaenys is, for me, the one true Queen that should have been.
I cheered every time Meleys dug her claws into their chest (Sunfrye and Vhagar). Rhaenys and Meleys were true fighters with honor till the end. Personal opinion, they are the beginning of the true Dance of Dragons.
Forever rest in peace The Queen That Never Was and fly high forever Meleys, The Red Queen.
