- Part 3 of 3. We finally get to the cars, and there is a lot to cover. Stick around until the end and I'll cover how to use this tool as well: bit.ly/3ENBJFd

Great series. I appreciate the effort. It’s handy to have the dice tables. It’s an excellent tool to visualize this during builds. I may need to put those together for a new set of players next weekend. The yellow dice results seem to me like it’d have made more sense for D1 turns and greens being D2.
I think the idea with the green dice being used for D1 turns is that as soon as you start "hard turning" you're risking your tires. There are also cards that reduce that chance if you really want to avoid those green dice.
Great guide...thank you for this!
Glad it was helpful! As soon as I get the last 2 expansions, I'll do a breakdown for those as well.
Hm, realized watching this video I don't have some of the higher cost upgrades (e.g defense system, concealment system). Were those with Miniature Set #2 (not included with Double Ace)?
Those both came with the Uncle Al's Upgrade pack.
Excellent overview video. Thank-you. Are you still playing these days?
Not as much. But that's more because of all the game's I've gotten since Car Wars than the game itself. However it'll remain in my collection for the foreseeable future.
Just a heads up regarding 14:30 , the probability for a coin-flip that can be rerolled is 75% to come out in your favor. - - The defense system could actually be better than 75% because if you don't need to use it you can save it for later.
I miss the original construction rules. Not being able to have bumper spikes and a safety cage makes NO SENSE LOL... 6th ed looks like a dumpster fire... but if it makes people seek out the original and far better rules the it's a good thing.
NOT a dumpster fire. I've played since the 80's.. this version stays true enough, and is so much more playable (no longer takes 6 hours to play a 5 second combat)
