Hie Emma ! I wanted to ask how many to chain for the size xs? It’s such a lovely and easy tutorial thank you so so much ! I really want to try this 💕💕🫶🏻
Hey! For anyone making a larger size, I did what this creator suggested and used 54 chains for sleeves and 75 for the front and back! When doing the top area, I make 7 spaces (instead of the 5 she does) on each side, and chained 41 for my middle connection piece. And the maths seems to work for that as a larger size so wanted to comment it in case it’s helpful for anybody

not sure if this is a good idea but i’m making this as my first full crochet project. before today i’ve only made a square and started a circle but imma do this 💪💪
First off thanks for posting this, I'm making it for my daughter. I'm on row 17 of the sleeves, I'd love to have bell sleeves on this. How could I go about increasing in the round to achieve this? I'm making her pants in the same stitch which have bell bottoms. The set will be used as a beach cover up. Thanks again Emma.
Hello, just make a double crochet as usual into the last stitch of the row, then chain 1 and make another double crochet into the exact same stitch. Chain 1 and connect the rows together If you continue making 2 double crochets into the same stitch then the sleeves get wider and will form into the bell form☺️

Hi! I am using a 4mm hook and have done 34 rows on the sleeves but they are not the whole length of my arm (from wrist to shoulder). Should i continue adding rows to the sleeves to reach my shoulder?
Hey guys, I created an instagram account it's called @75amst ( instagram.com/75amst?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA== ) so if you want you can send me a picture of your finished project😇💌
Very easy to follow pattern. You did an excellent job of showing how to crochet this top. I'm going to make on for each of my granddaughters. I think these 'Just Sleeves' hilarious tops are really cool. Keep up the good work!
At 3:28 you said to do a double crotchet but for the bottom you just pulled up 1 "bumb" of the chain and for the top you pulled up both, is this correct ?
yes, that's correct😇 but you can also insert your hook into the two loops/ bumps when you make a double crochet into the chains, there's no big difference😝
hey, for the front piece I chained 57, then did the first line of double crochets. i did everything as the video said, but it turned out to be 27 boxes instead of 28. I even redid it to be sure. did you chain an extra 3 before you started doing the double crochet in the 5th chain from the hook or something? please let me know, thanks ✨️
hey, I just did the row by myself and I noticed it too😭 So 27 boxes is correct, I think I messed up again while editing Thanks for letting me know, I'll write it into the description box😅💌
Hey, I made a mistake so 57 chains should lead to 27 boxes😅 If I counted correctly then maybe you only made 45 chains which lead to 21 boxes, instead of 57 chains? Maybe this could help🙈
I completed this and did the pattern right but it looks really weird in the back. It looks really short and rides up in the back. Maybe the sizing is off? I'm roughly the size of the girl in the video but I might have wider shoulders or something?? Idk I really wanted to like this, it looks like it fits everyone else ok tho
Thanks so much for the tutorial❤ Im pretty far in making the first sleeve and just saw that you wrote in the comments that there should be 22 holes in each row. Somehow I have 23 ( but it must have happened at the beginning because I have 23 in every row). Would I have to change anything about the main body part for the sleeves to fit onto it or is that not that important?
Hey, yes it's no problem if you have more holes for the sleeve, if you get to the main body part you might have to add another row because then the holes from the sleeve match up with the rows of the main part😇 Otherwise you can just crochet the sleeves as usual to the main part but crochet the two holes together☺️ Hope this could help you❣️
hii, i want to actually make a cropped mesh top and not actually just the sleeves, but i couldnt find any design that i liked for the cropped mesh top other than this, so do you think i can use this pattern to just make more rows length wise and make it a cropped top instead of just sleeves, will that work? thanks!
I’m trying to drain all my yarn so I could buy more, ++ this will be my first clothing project !! i’ll update if I don’t give up lol ty for this tutorial 🫶
I have a question. How long is my sleeve supposed to be?? Because, since I used a thinner yarn, the row counter didn't worked for me ann I don't know if the sleeve is supposed to reach the shoulder or not
Hello! I am in the middle of crocheting this beautiful piece and I’m a little confused. The first half of the middle part/the chest and head hole ends up having 27 holes but the second half after chaining 35 creates an extra leaving you with 28? Is that correct? 8:57 Thank you!
Hey🤠 maybe you added a few stitches and then the project increases- if the amount of stitches is correct then maybe you're grabbing the yarn with less tension than before, so the sleeves get wider because the stitches are getting loosener🫣 so try to grab the yarn with more grip/ tension so that the stitches all come out evenly and then the sleeves should all be in the same form🙏🏻 Hope this could help you💘💘
Thanks for the video, the width of my arms is pretty tight at the start. I’ve only done 9 rows, is there anyway to make this wider going up? For the bigger parts of my arm if you get me 😅
yes of course☺️ when you get to the end of your row make a double crochet as usual, chain 1, then make another double crochet into the exact same stitch, chain 1 and finish the row. If you continue making 2 double crochets into one stitch then you are increasing the rows and the sleeve gets wider🙈💌
Hey, if you make the body longer then it doesn't add up when you connect the sleeves. Because the sleeves have less holes/gaps than the main body part. Actually it won't be a problem since you can connect the sleeves as usual and then just crochet together the last rows of your 13 rows Hope this can help you😅🙏🏻
Is there a way of making the arm sleeve in a rectangle then you fold I'm making it as a circle but i don't know as you keep adding more rows it becomes small that not even the fingers can fit idk why😞
Hey, yes you can also make a rectangle and then crochet the sides together🙏🏻 When your project is getting smaller it might be because you lost some of the stitches on the way or forgot to make the chain 1 space in between the double crochets. If the amount of double crochets is still correct then try to grab the yarn with less tension so the stitches won't get too tight. You could also use a bigger hook and crochet everything more loosely Hope this can help you😊
Hey🤠 maybe you lost a stitch on the way so you're crocheting with less double crochets than you started with, so try to count the stitches and then you always have the same amount of double crochets✨ If the number is correct then try to grab the yarn with less tension so the double crochets don't get too tight, instead loose the grip a little bit then the stitches get even and it won't get smaller🙏🏻 Hope this cold help you🤩
hey there, thanks so much for posting this tutorial which is so easy to follow compared to some others I’ve watched. A few questions, when you say double crochet do you mean one mesh stitch? And if the measurements in the video do not match for me, would the outcome be the same if I changed some numbers of chains to fit me? Thank you!!
Thank you sm!!💌 yes there's no difference so a double crochet [including the chain(s) ]would be one mesh stitch :) You can adjust the numbers of chains how you want, if you scroll down the comments I answered a few questions on how to change the size🙈

Hey🤠 maybe you lost a stitch on the way so you're crocheting with less double crochets than you started with, so try to count the stitches and then you always have the same amount of double crochets✨
If the number is correct then try to grab the yarn with less tension so the double crochets don't get too tight, instead loose the grip a little bit then the stitches get even and it won't get smaller🙏🏻
Hope this cold help you🤩
hey there, thanks so much for posting this tutorial which is so easy to follow compared to some others I’ve watched. A few questions, when you say double crochet do you mean one mesh stitch? And if the measurements in the video do not match for me, would the outcome be the same if I changed some numbers of chains to fit me? Thank you!!
Thank you sm!!💌
yes there's no difference so a double crochet [including the chain(s) ]would be one mesh stitch :)
You can adjust the numbers of chains how you want, if you scroll down the comments I answered a few questions on how to change the size🙈
@@75.emma. alright, thank you!
Thanm you so much for this tutorial! How much yarn do you recommend I buy before starting this project?
Hey, I used 3 balls of yarn and each of them weighed 50 grams so it was about 150 grams in total😇
