there's this cool concept in dark souls that when you close the game and turn off your screen you basically triggered the age of dark.. until you get back to the game again
Dark Souls has made me a better version of myself in a way. As long as you keep going, you will obtain Victory and find the light in the darkness. You can apply this to real life too. As a Christian, it goes well with encouragement while God guides me towards the light so I can finally sit on the throne of victory when I depart from this cruel but beautiful world. I am still young and I have much to learn and many more encouraging messages to receive and give. Whether or not you are a Christian, I hope that you bring the light of encouragement to this painful world so many more may continue living on in their darkest times.
It’s the perfect song for Dark Souls, story-wise. “Souls of Fire” This is what Gwyn wanted us to be; the fleshy, clothed high fantasy humans that even we *as* humans associate ourselves to be. It’s a beautiful melody in contrast to the harsh game that you actually play. Much like humans having Souls of Fire was a beautiful lie imposed by Gwyn. We have Souls of Dark
@Joseph Waters what was his videos on ? I've listened to this alot but only now heard of his channel, is his content anywhere available, kinda interested in these dark souls movies yk ? heh
Praise the Sun, you are a saint ! \o/ Thank you so much for the reupload ! I miss Moonlight Butterfly's channel very much but despite their disappearence, thanks to you and this music, I'm happy to see that there is still something that remains from them...
I prefer this to the original because of how relaxing the tink of the crystals sound with the slowed harp. It's peaceful yet somewhat melancholic like watching the sun rise. Thank you for re-uploading!
this gives me some post eclipse berserk vibes cuz its pretty much a dark souls vibe a broken swordsman slowly and painfully getting up to face even greater and scarier challenges
These games are a bit like therapy. If you're struggling in life, you'll meet others that also experiencing hard times and you see how they cope with it. You could learn about what's good and what's not.
If I close my eyes, I can see 14 year old me again. I can see myself playing this game for the first time, enraptured by its expansive, dark world. It's interesting how slowing down a piece can bring out these emotions/memories of the past.
The original video said it was slowed down by 20% Also it curiously seems that the crystalline sound is part of the original song yet this slowed down version might be the very same used in the actual Crystal Caves ambience
I'm always here when i want to meditate and wash away the anguish of the day, but be safe friends, don't you dare go hollow. Anyway, rarely i'm thinking Seath the Scaleless and Judas Iscariot: both having betrayed their own kind.
Tantos momentos difíceis, eu só queria deitar um pouco e ouvir essa música, em paz sozinho, sem pensar no futuro, no presente ou qualquer coisa que me faz me sentir tão mal como a própria vida.
That could be seen as a racial and derogatory claim. A better statement is that greedy companies care about their investments' intellectual property as that is the key to their future.. best of luck friend
Can someone please explain to me how dark souls is a good game? It doesn’t give you a clear direction of what to do at the beginning. You feel lost on fire link shrine and it’s gameplay was not very fun. The gameplay is just try and run past a bunch of mobs to go try hard over a boss that will kill a bunch of times or spend an hour trying to kill of the mobs along the way. It’s also a very ugly looking game where a game called dark souls you would expect it to be dark like blood borne but only the cave the leads underground was dark and it was all very grey except for Anor Londo was just like every other bright and fancy location in fantasy. The game was just a bad story, with a bad atmosphere, and a gameplay that is made for people who already play souls games. W music though.
There is a lot of things that you said that could be positive in other people's eyes. No clear direction is a good feature in my opinion because it makes you figure it out and feel more involved in discovering new areas. Boss runs for getting from point A to point B are often difficult in the old games and they fixed it pretty well in Elden Ring. I personally love every souls game and I think ds1 and ds2 have to be a bit of an acquired taste due to their slower pace. And the thing about graphics, it's not a new game, maybe they could have done something different but it's not a huge deal to me. Some of the best games in the series would be Elden Ring or Sekiro, if you haven't played them already, I highly suggest it. Gameplay in every FromSoft game is never easy, starting out is really hard but that's the point, I saw a study on how dark souls of all things has saved people from suicide and depression just by learning how to "Get Gud". It's not the sole factor but it definitely helped those people and I thought it was pretty cool. Anyways, I hope you have a great day and I hope I answered your question somewhat.
