I just cannot imagine the pain Katia must have felt after he died. They were so beautiful together, so innocent and pure. I wish someone in Hollywood would make a movie of their life so that everyone will know and remember beautiful Sergei and Katia
Adela Garza There is a series of 11 parts of videos entitled MY SERGIE I have seen with Katya herself in it narrating the life they had together and flashes of their performances through their years of competing they have attended and their private moments. I think this is more than a movie and to me its best not to make a movie because MY SERGIE is natural real and pure with them themselves you see featured. In movies there would only be actors and actresses to act and play the roles to look real as them. But I am not against making one though and still I would go and watch it.

Katia and Sergei = a fairy tale that came true. I remember vividly when Sergei died and how sad my husband and I were as we were and will always be, such fans of this very special couple. My husband suddenly passed away 1 month later as well. He also was the best of the best to those lucky enough to know him. Please don't EVER presume you have the moments that you have with your loved ones will last indefinately. Life is so fragile - Katia and Daria, you will always hold a special place in all our hearts. Take good care of each other, is my wish to all living in such uncertain times. Sincerely

Marcelle Gagne I know. He was so special. I keep asking myself what is it about Sergei that makes you not want to forget him. I think it’s a combination of his good looks with his humility, and his obvious love for his wife and child. He melts one’s heart when you see him. Quiet , beautiful Sergei.

Every time I see these beautiful montages of Sergei and Katia, the best pairs skaters in history, it makes me so sad for Katia and little Daria. The beauty and expertise of their skating and their very obvious love, on and off the ice, knowing how their beautiful love story ended so suddenly is so sad. I say I can’t watch any more because it is so sad but their pair skating and story is so beautiful I still love to watch them even now.❤️

Very nice. Loved them from the first learned of them in 1988 Olympics and loved them now. The day Sergei died, my love for pair figure skating went with him. Nver saw the beauty and passion these two have. Irreplaceable and Unforgettable

KATYA has just taken my breath away since the first time I saw her with her equally breathtaking partner/husband. I hope she has found happiness . Still in all honesty, unless she is skating alone, I believe she skated best either way Sergei. Today there is still no pair skaters who float across the ice like they were heavenly attached. I’ve never seen two skate as one before or since.
