Will I probably go bald because the men in my family have significantly lost their hair at young ages so balding is a strong possibility? Yes, I will finally be comfortable and rid the the ol' gender dysphoria. Better invest in some good hats I suppose!
Y'all gotta get on that Finasteride - block that hair thinning DHT. Make sure to only take 1mg per day as a higher dose can cause depression.. take it from a trans girl who knows 😊
I'm a woman who is into powerlifting and bodybuilding. Lots of women in those fields use androgens to build muscle and some lose their hair shockingly quick. They aren't usually on constant doses of T, and only use before shows but they still experience basically male pattern baldness. I've seen men fret about their hairlines, but men have a W shaped hairline without balding. It seems they start fretting about it when they notice the natural shape. Baldness doesn't make someone unattractive, there's lots of bald people of all genders looking great out there.
I keep being paranoid about whether my hairline is receding, but something useful I learned is that the spaces on your face between your hairline and the top of your nose is normally about the same as between the top and bottom of your nose (and the bottom of your nose and your chin). Good way to track whether or not your hairline is moving.
As someone with already thin hair, a bald dad, and 3/4 bald grandparents (both grandpas and my grandma on my dad's side), balding is... inevitable, but not really something I'm excited about 😂

No way to say for certain unfortunately, but it is perfectly normal and common for your hairline to recede a little as you get to your late 20’s/early 30’s, and then it just stays that way for the rest of/most of your life. My hairline receded a little and I talked to my doctor about it and she said usually a better indicator for actual balding is if the back of your scalp is thinning out.
For what it’s worth I’m around Jamie’s age and I have a very similar hairline that hasn’t changed in like 4 years. Also my step-grandpa’s hairline apparently receded quite a bit when he was in his 20’s and he thought he was going to go bald but it ended up stopping pretty quickly and he had that hairline for the rest of his life

The only thing about T I'm scared of is getting chest hair. I absolutely do not want chest hair but everything else I want.
My father is bald and 55. My older brother (31) just got a hair transplant surgery cuz his hairline receded in his 20s, I am still deciding to go on T.
Love these so much this was cool tho thats sad ngl baldness yeah it sucks sometimes and all that it changes wierdly
I experienced 'cuteness rage' watching this 😅🤦♀️
Compared to my hair gain below my top head hair and the hair loss of my top head hair, Jamie, you’re practically Fabio. 😅
I keep being paranoid about whether my hairline is receding, but something useful I learned is that the spaces on your face between your hairline and the top of your nose is normally about the same as between the top and bottom of your nose (and the bottom of your nose and your chin). Good way to track whether or not your hairline is moving.
Best version of this sound 😅
NO WAY THIS IS JOW I FIND OUT HES TRANS
I love this comment section
And the random shoulder hair
Ahh wish I actually started developing facial hair before my hairline began receding 😅😂
I already had "male pattern baldness" as a "cis female" toddler tbh, so it doesn't even make that much of a difference
Wearing wigs was always more fun. No worries about losing hair or killing it!
As someone with already thin hair, a bald dad, and 3/4 bald grandparents (both grandpas and my grandma on my dad's side), balding is... inevitable, but not really something I'm excited about 😂
not me noticing im getting my dad's hairline every time i look at reflection xD
This is one of the main reasons I'm hesitant to go on T
The hair on my head retreated down to my butt. Long live the butt forest.
From a medical point of view having pcos sucks, but from a trans guy perspective it’s awesome 🤣
Still have a high voice tho 🥲
this is one of the few reasons i decided not to go on t esp since i already have high natural t levels
Hahaha not in a transphobia kinda way but I love to see a trans guy have hair loss problems I'm bald since 25 and I feel you man, you still have a great head of hair!
on the other side my hair line filled in 🙏
Hey embrace your inner Jack Nicholson,Own that hairline man
Ugh so true 😩 it especially sucks when you’re nb and prefer very little body hair and long hair on your head 🥲 I started using rogaine last year and thankfully it’s been helping a lot
I'm a cis lady with too much T and it is also causing me to go bald. It doesn't help that I've lost 85 pounds in 8 months. My poor hair 😭
I freaked out and started trying different methods to stop the balding lol. The hims minoxidil and finasteride spray is doing really well for me, especially the new formula. I still have a thinning patch at my crown that I need to sort out tho 😭😭
Also my step-grandpa’s hairline apparently receded quite a bit when he was in his 20’s and he thought he was going to go bald but it ended up stopping pretty quickly and he had that hairline for the rest of his life
One of us ! One of us ! 😂
I absolutely underestimated the growth of ass hair. I heard, read and knew I would probably grow more but.. oh boi...😅
lookin good bro!
Listen, I was balding even before T because of shit genes, so I'll take it lol
If my brother can look fab bald, then I'll rock it when the time comes 🤟
You're just in time, im 3 years on T and my hair is starting to uh...rlly slim down 🥲 the price of euphoria lol
Ive been on T since 14 i turned 18 in April and basically have been losing hair since than i hate it make it stop but also it helps me pass
😂
How did you get to go on T at 14?
@@rotary_phone1217in some places in US and prob somewhere else it's possible. Not that it's okay or flawless, but still happens
They make medication for that.
Im starting the minoxidil early man not with my family male pattern baldness! It already helped me kick off the mustache growth hopefully it’ll give me a few more years of fluffy lol
Why do trans men always have better facial hair than me???
Yo I’m gonna outtrans you, I’m gonna perfectly balance my t, e, and p levels so that I am the average of all those levels in the average person. I’m gonna transition to “human”
Nah, you gotta go beyond that. *Transcend* and become more than human! We need more than just humans as a dominant species, let's make this world into a fantasy world! (I'm making a joke, if this wasn't clear)
Welcome to manhood, my dude.
Maybe I'll be able to cut my hair less. Ugh. I've got so much f××king hair. 😭😭
You lowkey look like Stanford pines, if not you will look like him
Honestly, dont hate on the butt hair its great, my cisgender boyfriend has it, and its awesome i think its cool and hes handsome so, be proud of ur butthair guys, its super awesome in my opinion, its there so protect u too
