Formentera is the smallest of Spain’s Balearic islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Besides, Formentera there are four more famous Baeleric islands viz. Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca and Cabrera.
The only way to reach Formentera is by ferry or with charter boats and/or yachts. Name of Formentera port is La Savina.
Generally, tourists on trip to Ibiza make a day trip to Formentera.
Formentera is known for its clear waters and long stretches of beach backed by dunes and pine trees.
After reaching La Savina (port of Formentera) you have 4 options to see the entire island -
(1) Renting a car
(2) Renting a bike/scooter
(3) Renting a bicycle
(4) Bus (L3 is the most famous route for tourists)
All the above options are available at the port itself.
