The fact that Rockstar are banning people that are the victims of the modders goes to show they have ZERO understanding of what the state of red dead online rly is, completely garbage
an insight i received from a modder themself is that some of the modders like the one i spoke to have a special mod menu that has a script where if you try to report the right guy for hacking, you get your game crashed. very stupid, but smart for the hacker. i bet they have it autoreport and maybe somehow autoban that player just for doing the right thing? and rockstar is too lazy to fix it? sad to think everyone is so hype for gta 6 when these same problems might occur if worse, its gonna be devastating to see it happen again like gta v.

not every online game on pc is like that. Dota and league for example has shit ton of players and almost never encounter any cheaters. Its just the online games where the devs didnt give a shit to update it or make a actual anticheat software

i stopped playing due to this, i looked forward to play the online game after finishing the story, but there are so many cheaters that its almost impossible, fix it Rockstar!
Before I knew anything about the modders chests, I opened one and took full advantage. Shortly later I found out and was shitting bricks, but nothing happened, so I got lucky.
Both Rockstar multiplayer versions are quite lacking and dull, they make great single player experiences, especially RDR2 is one of the most immersive experiences I had so far, but the multiplayer is just a lackluster grind. Going just the co-op route and investing more time into additions to the single player experience would have been the better approach for a goat game imho. But yeah, the mmo definitely made more money than that could have. I'm quite hyped for gta6, but on the other hand I expect the worst and another game that feels unfinished and unrefined, like you get it from almost every game these days.
I use Fortitude Lifetime/Stand Premium to kick and protect myself from bad modders, there is no jerky modders griefers in my lobby i took care of them. Im doing exactly the job RS should do. Nobodys can tell than im a modder on the Lobby, im exactly like everyone else, and im playing the game better than the Dev ever imaginated doing it themself... And every lobby run and play better when im there. Copy/past for GTAO.
Me and my friend bought the game recently on pc to give it a try but he cant even play rdr online cuase of these rockstar servers being so shit it just says cant join due to problems at rockstars case, shits fucked, he had to use a vpn which is just a temporary solution on top of that these modders make it hell, cant even take the online seriously. i will just play my story
I disagree. If your in public.. yes it a nightmare ...private lobby, very little bugs. I play Red Dead Online almost everyday for a year now. Private are the way to go if you want to play with friends.

I actually made it playable, fixed my graphics crashes with turning on async in settings and for modders I have solo session mod for me and the boys

Modmenus block report. Dont use it, you will just make yourself a victim if you dont have your own menu to protext yourself

How do you make a private lobby in free roam? very new to RDO
i use a file. you don't get banned or anything. safe to use i know i had to look it up to find it
