What I love is her reaction after the comeback win - humble, modest, classy. Well done Heather.

She is/was the strongest despite her fall. A great part of this game of running is about pitfalls. No comeback story. Just ur everyday racing!!!

Its superiority over the others is amazing. She doesn't even look tired after finishing the race.

The reason why she went down was that she moved too early in front of the runner she was passing. It is part of the story, and had the other runner went down, Heather would have been disqualified.

And the other runner should have moved over so she could have passed safely. That is proper protocol.

@@bigslim492 Move over where? This is the proper protocol"
"When overtaking, leave enough space and don't cut to the inside until you're one stride clear of the runner you're passing."
As the video shows, Heather was not one stride clear when she moved to the inside. She cut her off.

Get rid of the music and leave the crowd noise - that ruined the video

Not willpower alone could make this. Without her resources the will would have been a mere dream.

narration was just slightly over the top for a heat in a low-level college meet.

"Her dream" of winning a 600 meter race. I don't think so. Great effort though.

While it was an amazing comeback win, if she had of been competing against the top athletes in the sport she would have finished dead last. Without falling.

Yeah it she is 3s faster than effort in the run, losing 2s because of a call is not a problem. Running competitions are beautiful and i love watching people run fast, but it is also kind of boring and already determined. The results are made in the preparation phase months and in the race occasionally somebody f***s up and doesn't reach his potential in the race.
