Oh my! Wow thank you EVERYONE for your feedback, and to Justin for doing this video. You all have such great comments and suggestions for me…I’m veering towards #1 and #3…so please stay on board and let’s see where this goes…where’s that finger biting emoji 😂😂
She looks great in all options but #1 is my favorite with #2 being a close second choice. I love the darker tones on her and the longer lengths. Can’t wait to see what she chooses!
I'm still loving the longer length of #1 AND the color is beautiful on her. I actually think it's the most youthful but I'm a bit of long-hair biased as I think it's easier to maintain.
I like curveballs 1 & 3 the best, and 4 the least. The pixie is just too structured and severe for me and actually makes her look more masculine from the front the way you have it styled here. The layers and high-/low-lights of curveballs 1 & 3 give her a softness and playfulness that are very youthful, and seem to fit more with her softer, casual vibe.
Amazing video. I love #1 for Candyce. The color really flatters her and the length and light wave is a great balance. I love short hair though it's too severe on her beautiful face and looks too mature.
I love #1 and #3 equally. I think the darker color looks fantastic on her. If #3 is too much of a change, I could see her starting out with #1 and maybe going into #3 down the road. And if darker hair is too much of a change, I can definitely see just adding lowlights and do that gradually too. Can't wait to see a follow up on this.
Your best episode yet! I love them all, but #1 is my favorite. Candace is beautiful, and the brown waves really bring out her eyes and echo her lovely curved cheekbones and round eyes. It fits her face perfectly, and the style looks timeless.
#2 is my top choice. Love the color, it suits her skin and eye color the best of the four colors. This style is also the most youthful, unique and dramatic of the four styles - perfect for an actor and writer. Perhaps soften the cut slightly around her face. #3 is my second choice, but with the change of using the color of #2. This youthful, soft style also suits her face well.
I actually like her original hair the way it is. I think she actually looks younger as is. For some reason, in my opinion, having less 'styled' hair looks the most youthful.
I agree, I could never guess she is 51 when I saw her picture! Usually these "hollywood" or extra styled hairstyles add more maturity to the person's face, especially stuff like perm or balayage, which are stuff that were super popular back in the days. I would say following what current young generation wears is the best way to "fit in" when it comes to looking younger because these hairstyles are associated with young people. It's the same with clothes and makeup, wearing what was popular 50 years ago will make you look older, not because of clothes but because we as a society associate these outfits and clothing with older generation.
@@acayette Yes! You described it in the exact way I was thinking about over-styling and and described it precisely!! (not that Justin was over styling, as he was just giving different options but the model having the longer hair without too much going on is less aging than the styled versions....) x
@@cyberpunk6142 Yeah, I was talking in general about overstyling not particularly about James' work :) Also in her case, the longer her hair the younger she looks imo
@@acayette oh, of course I didn't think you were talking about his work...no worries I didn't think that at all... I said that because I didn't want him to think (I was) talking about his work... xx xx
Candyce is so beautiful, I think she could rock almost any style! It was hard to pick a favourite, but if pushed, I'd probably say number 1. I defo like the darker tones. It'll be interesting to see what everyone votes for and what Candyce decides to do. Thanks, Justin 😃
#1 is #1!!!! Hands down the clear winner from my perspective. I love the darker color in her. So pretty! My number 2 choice would be hairstyle #3. I would be too scared to go that short but it looks like a fun style. You're killing it as always and thanks for the view that doesn't suck. 😁
I love the first and third options. They both make her even more beautiful and youthful. Leaning toward the first option as the most natural choice for Candyce.
Wow, so many options and she can rock them all so well!! I personally prefer the longer in the dark brown however I plain have a preference for longer hair as I find it has less maintenance for me.
Candyce is very fortunate as she obviously has many options for her hair that are flattering on her. I like curveball 1 (darker color, layered shape) as it really brings out her eyes but I thought curveball 3 was amazing. The shape looked great on her, really accentuating her cheekbones and eyes. And even though I don't really like snow, the view in this video was beautiful!
#1 and #3 I think are best. I think the very short one makes her look older IMO. Would love to see any changes she makes. Great video Justin as always.
So late to the party, but option 1 is the clear winner. It allows her to embrace the gorgeous color, which enhances her natural beauty in a way that the blonde does not, and it lets her keep some length (because we all know that it's traumatic going from long to short all at once). Perhaps later, when she's bored, she can try out #3, and it won't be such a shock. I wonder which Candyce chose?
Surprised you didn't show us Dionna's hair style as an option. This is the first time I prefer her original look with some layers and cleaning up. I'm also in entertainment and for someone in the business, #s 2, 3 and 4 could totally change her booking ability. Of these options #1 is best, #2 looks like your fun neighbor/teacher, #3 screams suburban mom, #4 is a hard no... With a face like Candyce, she can't go wrong, but I prefer 1 the best. Thanks Justin.
@@latachia_2981 The cool thing is Candyce didn't have to cut one hair on her head to see how that would look and that's magical... She has options and that's a good thing!
I think #2 looks like a suburban mom or lawyer. She can totally rock a short cut her bone structure looked excellent. I just wouldn't choose that particular cut in #4.
I love that there are SO many comments on this video. Bravo Justin!!! For me....hands down it has to be #1. So modern. But really, she cannot go wrong with any of them. But yay no. #1,
For the curveball, I prefer #1, the darker color looks great on her. I do prefer her hair longer, I think she looks more youthful with a longer length. I also like her original hair with maybe a bit more layering, it's the style that I have, but longer.
I like photo #1. The colour looks amazing on her and it’s close to the natural colour from our much younger years. The cut brings a youthful appearance and showcases her beauty!
I'm voting for: The look she has now. I don't know why but imo she doesn't need any makeover because he current hairstyle is the closest to what young people wear. I feel like the hairstyles presented (despite not being bad nor ugly) are just not suitable for her face. If anything I would choose nr 1 as it's the most youthful out of all 4 options.
I loved the dark wavy and the shorter blonde! Hated the bob and very short. I actually liked the hint of a bluish error that occurred! Actresses usually get extensions or wear wigs/hair pieces, unless their style is perfect for the role. I often laugh because there's not many actresses that I would probably recognize in real life because they are made to look so different more times than not! Do you have a lot of people lined up for your next episodes? I need advice on my hair! I'm 50, have gotten blonde highlights and a 'curtain' bang and no layering throughout. My hair grows very fast and I can only afford to get my hair done twice a month. I got my hair done about 2 months ago and the roots are almost an inch long with my medium/light brown hair.
She looks so young as is but if I had to choose to switch to, I’d pick 1. The mid tone with hilights just seemed to make her glow without being too stylized.
Style #1 but keep it blonde with added low lights to refresh her bleached out blonde color. The short hairstyles age her. She can carry the long hair beautifully so keep it! She’s got plenty of time to go short. I’ll also add that it really depends on her personality too, as those styles tend to represent different types.
#3 is my choice. As an artist myself, it's says both fun and youthful. P.S. My hair is no longer like it is in the picture. Thanks to my listening to your advice, it's now in an inverted bob.
I love the first long option and the mid length third option. The forth option is too short for me. I’m shocked at how great all of them look on her and how great the darker color looks.
I think the color of #1 with the style of #3. They all look great on her. It’s hard to do a color change though. What happens when you go blonde to brown- do you get a lot of out growth where you have to color more often and is that bad for your hair? How hard would it be to go back to blonde if you wanted after picking a darker color? Can’t wait to see what you choose- any of them will look great on you.
Great question. Short answer, going from light to dark wouldn’t require more maintenance unless your natural color is really light. If it’s darker, then the darker overall color would require less maintenance. Going back to blonde could be a lot of work depending on how dark you go and how long you stay dark.
When you go pixie you just simply look older. I don’t care who you are or how old you are pixie looks old but I love option 3. Great job. Love the darker color on her.
Great video! I can't decide between 1 or 3, but all of them look good. I really hope she agrees to the makeover, I'm looking forward to seeing the end result!
I like all styles (not the original, droopy and aging) for different reasons. Very short style reminds me of Kari Lake, whom I adore. The classic bob if it was less dark is versatile for the reasons Justin stated. The prettiest are the two longer wavy brown styles. Blonde in general washes her out.
Darker color is spot on! It lights up her features and makes her stand out from a sea of blondes….I am from Minnesota and the blonde thing can get monotonous. Any of the hairstyles look great. Her choice. Justin, you knocked this one out of the park!
I really like what the darker colors do to her skin, but I just have a feeling that women who like long very blonde hair like the attention their hair gets them, and don’t mind giving up making their skin look better.
That’s a great point but I would argue that having the color bring out your skin tone and features add a level of beauty that also demands a level of attention. Not sure if that makes sense.
@@justinhickox it does make sense. I have a friend whose color season is Spring so her best colors are warm light bright colors, but she wears black, a lot! Because it contrasts with her platinum blonde hair. Black makes her skin gray.
I prefer the first (blonde) version correcting all the mistakes. Second choice is curve ball #3.a fun and funky look. Candace is beautiful and can wear all the styles well.
I think curveball #1 looks amazing. Due to her roots, you know her original color is darker, so sometimes it's nice to go back to more of your natural hair color, and not worry too much about touching up the roots. The length of the hair lifts up her facial features and the waves also lift up her overall look. I think this style makes her look most youthful. And since the change of hair color is already a drastically change, keeping the style similar to her original look will make this style easier to embrace.
Curveball #1 definitely! So youthful and flattering. Runner up is #3. Love this kind of short cut And messy do! As a result, #4…too structured, feels rigid and least favorite.
You certainly did not disappoint with this episode, both the curve balls and the view had major wow factor. My vote is for #1 with #3 a close runner up. Thanks as always for sharing your talent with us.
Love your videos, Justin! I love curveball number one and number three. Like some others, I think cut number three with the color from number one would be great. Knowing what she does, curveball number one might be the best option, though. Hope you can talk her into that one. It’s a wow factor!
You mentioned Candace's brand as an actress. Keeping that in mind, understand that she has marketed herself with her current look, so any dramatic changes will call for changes to her efforts, such as head shots and portfolios. My first choice is your original suggestion; adding layering and freshening highlights. (I believe #'s 2 through 4 just age her.) Sorry, Justin, but the bob is terrible - it completely closes off her face.
I'm with you. A drastic change for an actor has to be an improvement. The roles she will book with any of the options will be different. Her current style could be hot girlfriend or mistress where the others are mom, teacher, friend. Not a leading vixen that she is... She just needs a refresh on her current look... Saves her $800 on new headshots!
#1 ‘s my choice. Love the color and cut on her, but I would suggest that a slightly shorter version - not past shoulder length and styled to the lowest part of the collar bone. Thank you for your videos! 🌷
Hi Justin!!!..gorgeous woman!!!…my favorite is the dark Bob!!!!…she looks spectacular!!!…another awesome video, Justin!!!…hope you and Dionna are doing great!!!…Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!…enjoy every moment!!!!…#OGCommunityRockstar!!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜
What’s up Linda!!! Thank you so much! Happy Thanksgiving and holidays to you and your fam as well!! I really like the bob as well!! I secretly hope she goes for it but we’ll find out soon enough! :)
I thought #1 was going to be my fave, the color suits her perfectly and the movement is beautiful....until I saw #3!! 🤩 I have really long hair with a similar face structure, and that made me want chop, chop ✂️✂️
1 and 3 are my favorites for sure but I would really love to know which one is HER favorite. I wish you were in Canada or have someone as talented as you for suggestions on my own style. Happy holidays to you and your spouse 🎉
I think your original suggestion for changes (not curveballs) and then #1 curveball are my favorites. If she is an actress, the other cuts might necessitate that she wear wigs for some auditions or roles. The longer hair is more versatile. I do like that color on #1 too on her.
Love love love #1! She has such great bone structure everything looks good. But I thought one really looked so beautiful on her. The color, style everything.
Number 1.. I have recently changed from blonde to brown, it was uncomfortable at first but my hair looks so much healthier and less trips to the hairdresser for my regrowth.. do it Candyce.. can't wait to see the results 😊
#3 is my favorite. It does make her look younger as well as adds a more spunky and fun feeling. #1 also looks very good on her, adding more volume around her face.
The BIG question…do you think I’ll be able to talk Candyce into doing it???
I'm thinking she'll go for the first one. I don't really think she'll want to go short.
I like #3. It's edgy and youthful.
I hope so, I would love to see you do her hair
NOOOOOOO
She would be crazy not too. She will!!

l love #1 best. #3 is my second choice, but only if she would change her hair to the darker color. l love your videos. l learn so much.
I love #1 ❤ so much and #4 makes her look 10 years older. 😢
#1 ‘s my choice. Love the color and cut on her, but I would suggest that a slightly shorter version - not past shoulder length and styled to the lowest part of the collar bone. Thank you for your videos! 🌷
Hands down curveball #1. Loved the style and color. Would look really good on her. Hope you do an update. Would love to know what she chose.
Love #1 what great options for her to choose from.

What’s up Linda!!! Thank you so much! Happy Thanksgiving and holidays to you and your fam as well!! I really like the bob as well!! I secretly hope she goes for it but we’ll find out soon enough! :)
@@justinhickox I can’t wait to find out what she does!!!!👏👏👏👏👏
#1 looks really good on her.
My very favorite choice was number 3. My second choice is number 1. Great job Justin!!
I really like #2. The color really warms her skin up and the style is young and fresh!
I too like # 1 & #3 Love your info, and your "backgrounds".
I thought #1 was going to be my fave, the color suits her perfectly and the movement is beautiful....until I saw #3!! 🤩
I have really long hair with a similar face structure, and that made me want chop, chop ✂️✂️
Number 1 looks fabulous on Candace! Definitely suggests a more youthful woman and can be styled up or down. The color seems to be an ideal match.
I really like #1 on her. The cut and color with the waves is very flattering.
I love #3 on her!
LOVE, LOVE Curveball #1 BEST for her skin tone, face shape, hair texture… looks fresh!
I like her original hair the best too, and the length gives so many styling options. But of the numbers, 1 would be the next best!
Love the color and soft waves in #1!
Number one…love the style and colour 💙💙💙
She is so beautiful and your ideas are amazing! I think no 1 is perfect.
I love the second to the last one it fits her perfectly and looks really good on her ! The last one looks good as well she has a great face shape
I love the first one, colour and style looks great on her
1 and 3 are my favorites for sure but I would really love to know which one is HER favorite.
I wish you would give more varied options like this in all the curve balls. Thanks for taking things up a notch.
