Ps: Tutankamuns tomb was raided in ancient times as well. The artefacts were lined up for pickup, but a land/rockslide stopped the raiders from coming back and causing further damage. It was resealed as well. When the tomb was discovered by Carter there were only bigger artefacts left (he might have stolen a few as well)

Thank you for the video. This is on my bucket list but since I have a chronic illness, it's not easy to do. So your video felt a but like visiting and I was able to see the entry etc, that I was always curious about.
I like that that you are respectful unlike the loud people there. What I found shocking is that visitors are actually able to touch the walls. Not everyone is that respectful. Is there nobody watching out that people behave?

Hi Natalie, wow thanks for the lovely comment. When we started the channel we didn’t think it would have this kind of effect! It’s a bit of a free for all in the tombs if I’m completely honest, only one of the tombs we visited had glass protecting the walls (the really busy one). It makes it really special to engage with the history without having a layer of inch thick glass between you and it, but obviously it places a lot of trust in the tourists not to drag their sticky fingers over the delicately painted and sculpted walls!!! All the tombs have someone at the door but they don’t necessarily follow you around. Thanks again!!

@@less-travelledwow. I really thought they are stricter with protection.
