Its funny how they argue that the mummies weren’t black because some had light skin but go to Africa and you’ll find the most diverse tones of skin. From super dark to super light.
But there is genetic differences between North Africans and sub saharan Africans.. Mummy dna testing shows.. So Far they were related to the middle easterners 🤷♂️ there may have been black african peoples much older than the Egyptians across the sahara who developed the technique of mummification and interacted with the early Egyptians, seems more logical .

Poldark Godzilla 1978 Mm, you perceived my comment as victimhood, when I was only making the allusion as to hardly any credit is been given to subsaharan influence in Egypt. In the video itself, the context of which shows amusement as something strange as a so called black mummy dating even before the annals of Egyptian mummery is something to be amused or surprised about? I’m thoroughly acquainted with the dynamics of population intercrossing and relations, as witnessed in my own genetic mixture which is composed of 8 a percentage of eight different ethnicities (African = Northern, western and eastern; Asian = Turkish and Iranian; middle eastern, central and northern Europe) so goes the skin tones from black, dark brown, light brow which seems white and is not, so the features and textures of our hair..... is what you can find among my siblings. That science cant lie? May be not the experimental data, but so may do the individuals whom because of prejudices and other motives forge lies into the findings, making them conclusive.
black americans don't understand that they're descended from west africans, not north/east africans. It's literally cultural appropriation. It would be like a russian slav claiming his people ruled Rome.

Eli za lol the truth hurts doesn’t it? I’m Arab and I even know the modern Egyptians aren’t the true Egyptians they settled their after invasions. The Sphinx face is African. Plus west Africa had mansa Musa who was the richest man in history search it up.
The Egyptians were by no.means an isolated African culture. They were part of the vast African family of cultures and therefore shared traits with numerous other African cultures.
Egypt was not the first or only ancient civilization in Africa. While many have tried to dismiss any advancements in ancient Africa, the truth is there were several advanced civilizations. One such example is Timbuktu where some of the earliest Universities existed along with an extensive library.
True indeed one can only imagine how many civilizations the green Sahara bore and it's prime obviously some of those cultures were the precursor to kemet
You’re confusing civilization with culture. While there have been many civilizations in Africa, none predate Kemet but several cultures do all over Africa.
I received my degree in Ancient Middle Eastern Archaeology from U. C. Berkeley in 1980. I always thought that the civilizations of Egypt and possibly all of the African civilizations, as well as those of Anatolia (Turkey) were closer in age to 10,000 BCE. That belief is being borne out by the discoveries of great stone complexes in Turkey.
This video is the epitome of " Science only knows what it knows. It doesn't know what it doesn't know." It is reassuring to see professionals in a field that is usually dominated by the assumptions and conclusions of historical figures reach out, explore and be open to concepts that were once unimaginable.
Archeology is one of the most dynamic sciences because discoveries constantly come out that trigger paradigm shifts so they tend to be the most open minded about new discoveries in general.
I did some researching, and that mummy was found in 1958. I don't know if it was ever examined using more modern methods, especially DNA analysis. Skin color is unreliable in mummies because of oxidation over time. Skull shape is helpful but not entirely reliable.
It's amazing, from a black mummy of a child of two years old and half before 5,500 years old in the center of the big Sahara, Libyan desert, to make a complete story, connected to and effected the Egyptian pharohny civilization by the River Nile to the east, great work.
I would say that it should be normal piece of history: Ancient Egypt is linked to Black African people culture, as the proof has been scientifically and worldwidly acknowledged during the UNESCO January 1974 Cairo Symposium, held in Egypt, on "The peopling of Ancient Egypt and the deciphering of meroitic scriptures".Ancient Egyptians did invent all the features of their culture out of nothing, the first roots of their languages and cultural practices should be found in neibourghing Black communities....It seems to make sense...common sense I mean.

Regardless of the standard vitriol you find on the internet, I think we can agree that it's such a tragedy that this little guy only lived to be two years old. Heartbreaking.
Archaeology is showing how advanced, forward thinking, and intuitive our ancestors were. This comment section is showing how ignorant and devolved we've become. They dedicated their lives to improving ours, while we devote ours to insulting, and tearing each other apart; taking gleeful pleasure in the suffering of those with differing opinions and less fortunate circumstances. All for the artificial glory in the artificial world of social media.
Sure. …. buuuuuut we also need to take a moment here to really revel in the irony of people claiming Egyptians have been “white-washed” with “rewritten history” … while gleefully erasing a whole group of people, their culture, and rewriting history for their own westernized sociopolitical views due to their ideas Africa = one certain skin color, therefor all Egyptians = that skin color because it’s located in Africa, and this documentary is somehow furthering their own biases because all they see and hear is about a certain skin color being discussed, tuning everything else out…. as if no M.E. groups never ever ever existed and that there totally isn’t a massive difference in the people and cultures on said continent. Or that no other cultures outside of the western ones have never ever studied this ancient civilization to come to the same conclusion as everyone else. I mean, it’s truly amazing to see so many comments peddling such nonsense because it really shows how people refuse to acknowledge any history or science because it doesn’t align with their own extreme views that they learned about via the internet’s extreme corners of rhetoric. It’s worth pointing those types out and ridiculing them. I mean, if the last few years are anything to go by, it’s wise for everyone in society as a whole to be very, very cautious of those peddling their beliefs rooted in nonsense that goes against science and data lol. It’s best we call that ish out and not let it continue when it’s just more extremism under the disguise of “truth”, no?
I feel like most of y’all missed the point of this documentary, it was long assumed that Egypt was the first to mummify their dead in Africa, and the discovery of this non-Egyptian mummy that predates Egyptian mummies throws a wrench in that theory. This isn’t a racial argument 🤦♂️ did you guys even watch the first minute of this documentary or read the description before mass complaining?
I agree with you. Also I find it short-sighted and ignorant by the comments of how sad is this child passed away. The whole rest in peace comments are annoying to me.
The Chinchurro mummies in Peru are also older than Egyptian mummies by over a thousand years as well. All of them are quite amazing and can teach us so much about ancient people.

The world has had a few climate change eras, or ages as they say ice age etc. we are in one now, as the ice melts and the sea rises taking back land, and flooding others, the heat generated by the sun is burning the ground on all five continents, I learned about this 53 years ago in university.
Allow your enemies to tell your story and they will control the narrative. Like they will have you believing that Egypt isnt in Africa, or that ancient Egyptian weren't indigenous, and that darker tribes of Africa did not seed what we know to be the more civilized people; and that many archeologists already know this to be true.
What? Enemies? No enemies here, nor bk then. Did you watch the entire video? They spoke of a “peoples” in the past intermingling & sharing ideas. Such as friends do! Like pottery designs & worship & how they buried their dead. Please stop trying to stir trouble or hate. After all this world has been thru these last few years. Seriously! Can we not get over ourselves & spread kindness & care for each other? Instead of so easily trying to point out some kind of discord or creating some. Let us not try to find fault in our fellow man & learn to cherish our fellow man & neighbor. If we search for anything, wether it be our next door neighbor or someone on the other side of the world. Let us first search for something good & seek to be kind to others & pray for each other & yes, for even those that seem to be our enemy. I think this old world needs that right now, I really do. I will start with myself. Bless you!🙏🏻🙏🏻

My own conjectures were founded, first, on the fact that they are black-skinned and have woolly hair, which certainly amounts to but little, since several other nations are so too. But further and more especially, on the circumstance that the Colchians, the Egyptians, and the Ethiopians, are the only nations who have practised circumcision from the earliest times. The Phoenicians and the Syrians of Palestine themselves confess that they learned the custom of the Egyptians. And the Syrians who dwell about the rivers Thermodon and Parthenius, as well as their neighbors the Macronians, say that they have recently adopted it from the Colchians. Now these are the only nations who use circumcision, and it is plain that they all imitate herein the Egyptians. With respect to the Ethiopians, indeed, I cannot decide whether they learned the practice of the Egyptians, or the Egyptians of them (it is undoubtedly of very ancient date in Ethiopia). But that the others derived their knowledge of it from Egypt is clear to me, from the fact that the Phoenicians, when they come to have commerce with the Greeks, cease to follow the Egyptians in this custom, and allow their children to remain uncircumcised.'' (Herodotus, The Histories, Book 2:104) The opinion of the ancient writers on the Egyptians is more or less summed up by French Egyptologist Gaston Maspero The Dawn of Civilization (1894), when he says, "By the almost unanimous testimony of ancient historians, they [the Egyptians] belong to an African race which first settled in Ethiopia on the Middle Nile: following the course of the river they gradually reached the sea." The German scholar, Eugen Georg, in his book The Adventure of Mankind (1931) p. 121, tells us about the ". . . world-wide dominance of Ethiopian representatives of the black race. They were supreme in Africa and Asia. In upper Egypt and India they erected mighty religious centers and mastered a perfect technique in the molding of bronze --- and they even infiltrated through Southern Europe for a thousand years." In his book Egypt, British scholar Sir E.A. Wallis Budge says: "The prehistoric native of Egypt, both in the old and in the new Stone Ages, was African and there is every reason for saying that the earliest settlers came from the South." He further states: "There are many things in the manners and customs and religions of the historic Egyptians that suggests that the original home of their prehistoric ancestors was in a country in the neighborhood of Uganda and Punt." (Some historians believe that the biblical land of Punt was in the area known on modern maps as Somalia.) Stephanus of Byzantium, who is said to represent the opinions of the most ancient Greeks, says: "Ethiopia was the first established country on the earth, and the Ethiopians were the first who introduced the worship of the Gods and who established laws." Quoted by John D. Baldwin, Prehistoric Nations, p. 62. The French writer Constantin-François Volney (1757-1820), in his important work, The Ruins of Empires, extends this point of view by saying that the Egyptians were the first people to "attain the physical and moral sciences necessary to civilized life." In referring to the basis of this achievement he states further that, "It was, then, on the borders of the Upper Nile, among a Black race of men, that was organized the complicated system of worship of the stars, considered in relation to the productions of the earth and the labors of agriculture; and this first worship, characterized by their adoration under their own forms and national attributes, was a simple proceeding of the human mind." Volney's Ruins; or, Meditation on the Revolutions of Empires, Boston, J. Mendum, 1869
Why are these people acting so surprised like they don't know that true history is suppressed?? The answer to the question is the mummy itself. You have a black mummy child so there had to be black adults with the knowledge.
The mystery should be the so called Caucasian mummies in Egypt that is the real mystery, because the original Egyptians were Hamitic, so because Caucasians didn’t descend from Hams son Cush, so why are some mummies, so the say, Caucasian, that is the mystery to me? Because Egypt was also a very African culture. I don’t understand why they are so perplexed, lol.

Witch Chan so let me explain some history and how ignorant you are. You say that Nigeria is to far from Egypt to travel right? So let’s go back in history, the Assyrians and Arabs conquered Egypt after many invasions and Pharaoh Taharqa died in battle. Arabs take power and after this- North Africa is slowly islamised. A islamised King who lived around 1300 AD, native to Mali called Mansa Musa traveled from Mali to Mecca to pay he’s respects to allah. Can you see how your geographical theory is pure ignorance?
@Ooki Cooki i Will tell tou why your theory is false and not welcommed. In ancient North Africa we didnt have this race problem that you White Europeans are so obsessed with in a ignorant way. THE minister of egyptian antiqueties Zahi Hawas Said last year that the Origins of the egyptian civilization clearly originated in Africa, he further says that these were many different African tribes forming Egypt and later on came THE migration from West asia. Just look att THE pharao Menes statue and youll see that he has a typically African phenotype. In THE 60s there was a group of black egyptians coming to America but America didnt allow them to identify as black egyptians but only as arabs even when its a lie. These egyptians protested againgst the American government in the matter willing to be identified as black egyptian. Go tell Them that their egyptian ancestors aint egyptian, go tell Them that they aint from Egypt. Leave African history alone its non of your buissness to dictate another people's history-- your ancestors did enough and now eveeubpdy are confusee. Go study your greeks, vikings, celts and romans instead!
I keep being struck by how young this person was when they died, every time they show the mummy or the computer graphic of it. So small, it makes me so sad. There is a certain feeling to feeling a loss like this, of someone far older than you in time, but with a life far shorter, feeling that time robbed of them with a death so young.

I always thought, just based on the archaeological evidence, that ancient people were a lot more advanced and traveled around a lot more than a lot of later people. Then, something happened worldwide, and they had to start over.
I dont understand all the speculation going on in this video, on one hand you have archaeologist wondering about the "Black" mummy child, and how it may relate to Egyptian mummification techniques. Then you have other archaeologist asking about the Sahara and who the "mummy" child's people may have been. Here is a novel thought, at one point in the Sahara you had groups of people connected by a vast inland sea, the fish, hunted and traded with one another. Then at some point the Sahara grew to arid for large scale human habitation, so the people moved. Some went North, some went south, others went South West, and others went North East into the head waters of Nile, the great lakes region of Africa and down the Nile. It is no mystery as to who his people were, so why beat around the bush? The video lost me when the archaeologist went on to describe all how black people from the south moved into the Sahara and white people from Near East migrated into the Sahara, right then and there is proof that archaeology holds fast to its dogma and Eurocentric ideals. We are to believe that "dark" skinned Africans ("black") people managed to walk out of Africa into the Near east and skirt the coast line Asia into Australia but some how managed to skip a large portion of their continent until about 10k years ago? Now i know this video is not up to date and does not have the latest Genomic testing that shows lighter skin only evolved about 8 thousand years ago, but come on how about a little common sense here? The ending of the video is why many, many many groups of POC have a huge issue with Europeans interpreting their history, instead of saying what is glaring obvious they tap dance around the subject. Clear evidence shows where the culture and customs come from, archaeological evidence tells you where the first ruler of a United Egypt came from and yet they refuse to say it. This is what breeds the mistrust in Europeans their refusal to acknowledge the evidence that their science and their methods present to them, they always hedge their bets.
@@kkjppt5359 even you took cows and sheep arriving at later date, it still would not explain how animal husbandry was quick to take, in my opinion and a lot of other's opinion including some archeologist anthropologist, animal husbandry was not all that uncommon in Africa. So how did pastoralism get started in Africa? Currently most archaeologists think wild ancestors of today’s domestic cattle, sheep and goats were first domesticated in the “Fertile Crescent” of the Middle East. Archaeological research shows herding began to appear in and spread from what is now Egypt around 8,000 years ago. By 5,000 years ago, herders were burying their dead in elaborate monumental cemeteries near a lakeshore in Kenya. Two millennia later, pastoralist settlements were present across a wide part of East Africa and by at least 2,000 years ago, livestock appear in South Africa. It is my contention that when people think of the Fertile Crescent, they automatically think that the people that were there 10k years ago, are the same people there today, I personally do not believe this. I think the people that were there 10k years ago, are from the people we find in North East Africa from the great lakes region all the way into Egypt, so animal husbandry was picked up rather quickly because they all shared some cultural connections. This is my opinion and i believe it will bare out eventually. Because animal husbandry spread so quickly through out Africa, this also shows that the people living in Egypt both lower and upper spread southward and westward with their cattle looking for better grazing, and only later ( for unknown reasons) did they become isolated from each other. theconversation.com/ancient-dna-is-revealing-the-origins-of-livestock-herding-in-africa-114387 link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10963-010-9042-2
@@mikeaskme3530 I agree. I’ve just started an MA in research methods in archaeology. His specialism is ancient West Africa, the Holocene period of the Green Western Sahara. I always look at their hieroglyphs and think to myself, those people are literally the same shade of brown as me but for some reason... Europeans say "They aren't black." It's interesting since I am unmistakably a "black" person.

Well yes that's what makes perfect sense...but they keep denying it,and claim ancient Egyptians were Mediterranean, middle Eastern and Eurasian, despite what the ancient greeks and Romans said about the original ancient Egyptians. Of course ancient Egypt was invaded by outsiders just like the rest of north Africa which changed the race of the populations there...but for some reason this is completely ignored. And of course the fact that Nubian kingdoms were already established before ancient Egypt, and the ancient Egyptians having so much in common with the Nubians is also ignored, and in some cases denied, makes it frustrating for those who know the truth. Unfortunately most people who write African history were also the oppressors of Africans. So it's kinda like the Nazis teaching us Jewish history.
Of course one of a few cultural contributions, namely green Sahara, Nubian and Ethiopian type people groups aswell, for a mix of African culture long before the light skinned people took over the north
@@SeanMichael-yt4ps The Levant/West Asia is also a source, especially for the Delta region, that can't be denied. Primary source is Horn of Africa, then Levantine, then Green Saharan culture. Levantine dominance of the Delta during the Predynastic period is the reason Narmer invaded. We have genetic evidence for back migration into Africa from the Middle East going back to 20kya. Same way we have clear Nubian and/or Saharan motifs and cultural elements, there are clear motifs and culture from the Arabian peninsula. I'm a "Black Egypt" proponent, but let's keep the argument solid. No need to deny their contributions as they can be proven just like the African ones. Let me be clear, Egypt was definitely an African society, but the presence of Arabic tribes is clear from the very beginning.

Indeed still in 2024 telling lies
I received my degree in Ancient Middle Eastern Archaeology from U. C. Berkeley in 1980. I always thought that the civilizations of Egypt and possibly all of the African civilizations, as well as those of Anatolia (Turkey) were closer in age to 10,000 BCE. That belief is being borne out by the discoveries of great stone complexes in Turkey.
Timbuktu was built by Arab Muslims, as recorded black folk did nothing.

Yes, although they don't use the n word to refer to the "black mummy". Mummy-,n.
Archaeologists *are* open to new things most of the time. It's the history books and schoolbooks that are stuck in the past wrongful beliefs
Something's just need to be left alone.

…. buuuuuut we also need to take a moment here to really revel in the irony of people claiming Egyptians have been “white-washed” with “rewritten history” … while gleefully erasing a whole group of people, their culture, and rewriting history for their own westernized sociopolitical views due to their ideas Africa = one certain skin color, therefor all Egyptians = that skin color because it’s located in Africa, and this documentary is somehow furthering their own biases because all they see and hear is about a certain skin color being discussed, tuning everything else out…. as if no M.E. groups never ever ever existed and that there totally isn’t a massive difference in the people and cultures on said continent.

At one time, 10k year's ago, the desert was green. The desert progressed over time. This is something that is just now being investigated and understood.
Plus shells and other marine life fossils and remains show that much of the area was previously a sea bed
"just now" as in "30 years ago at least"? I learnt that in school... As well as that Antarctica was once a jungle too.
The world has had a few climate change eras, or ages as they say ice age etc. we are in one now, as the ice melts and the sea rises taking back land, and flooding others, the heat generated by the sun is burning the ground on all five continents, I learned about this 53 years ago in university.
A bit earlier though. it was about 12-14k years ago when Sahara was a lush jungle.
Yeah that was before the end of the last ice age.
It's not just that the "Sahara" influenced the Nile Valley and Ancient Egyptian civilization, the Ancient Egyptians were an outgrowth of these cultures, they were the same people!
There are two components of the Egyptian civilization and people...both are African/Black..
#1 the riverine Nilotic Africans/Blacks with roots far to the south in the Great Lakes region
#2 the Saharan Africans/Blacks west of the Kemet (Egypt)
The Saharan Africans migrated east to the Nile Valley as the Sahara became desert and merged with the Nilotic Africans and gave birth to the ancient Egyptian state...it was most likely the Saharan Africans/ Blacks that brought the science of mummification to Kemet...as I have stated repeatedly...there is no such thing as "Sub Saharan" Africans since Africans/Blacks inhabited ALL of Africa, including northern Africa from the Atlantic ocean to the Red Sea...the caucasoids in northern Africa are NOT Africans...they are but mere migrants and invaders hence the reason their DNA is always lumped in with "middle eastern" DNA since that is where they originate...

Egypt is a country in the continent of Africa bordering the Nile. Its immediate neighbors are Sudan, and Libya. Its people have adopted customs from its neighbors, especially the Nubian culture, and these cultures have in turn been fed throughout history by all of Africa. Throughout its history, there has been intermarriage and shared learning between Egypt and its other African neighbors. We, the rest of the world, can only marvel that Africans and African nations continue to exist, survive and even thrive despite the relentless assault on its peoples. Herodotus, known as the Father of History, wrote in 350 BC ''There can be no doubt that the Colchians are an Egyptian race. Before I heard any mention of the fact from others, I had remarked it myself. After the thought had struck me, I made inquiries on the subject both in Colchis and in Egypt, and I found that the Colchians had a more distinct recollection of the Egyptians, than the Egyptians had of them. Still the Egyptians said that they believed the Colchians to be descended from the army of Sesostris.
But that the others derived their knowledge of it from Egypt is clear to me, from the fact that the Phoenicians, when they come to have commerce with the Greeks, cease to follow the Egyptians in this custom, and allow their children to remain uncircumcised.'' (Herodotus, The Histories, Book 2:104)
The opinion of the ancient writers on the Egyptians is more or less summed up by French Egyptologist Gaston Maspero The Dawn of Civilization (1894), when he says, "By the almost unanimous testimony of ancient historians, they [the Egyptians] belong to an African race which first settled in Ethiopia on the Middle Nile: following the course of the river they gradually reached the sea." The German scholar, Eugen Georg, in his book The Adventure of Mankind (1931) p. 121, tells us about the ". . . world-wide dominance of Ethiopian representatives of the black race. They were supreme in Africa and Asia. In upper Egypt and India they erected mighty religious centers and mastered a perfect technique in the molding of bronze --- and they even infiltrated through Southern Europe for a thousand years."
In his book Egypt, British scholar Sir E.A. Wallis Budge says: "The prehistoric native of Egypt, both in the old and in the new Stone Ages, was African and there is every reason for saying that the earliest settlers came from the South." He further states: "There are many things in the manners and customs and religions of the historic Egyptians that suggests that the original home of their prehistoric ancestors was in a country in the neighborhood of Uganda and Punt." (Some historians believe that the biblical land of Punt was in the area known on modern maps as Somalia.)
Stephanus of Byzantium, who is said to represent the opinions of the most ancient Greeks, says:
"Ethiopia was the first established country on the earth, and the Ethiopians were the first who introduced the worship of the Gods and who established laws."
Quoted by John D. Baldwin, Prehistoric Nations, p. 62.
The French writer Constantin-François Volney (1757-1820), in his important work, The Ruins of Empires, extends this point of view by saying that the Egyptians were the first people to "attain the physical and moral sciences necessary to civilized life." In referring to the basis of this achievement he states further that, "It was, then, on the borders of the Upper Nile, among a Black race of men, that was organized the complicated system of worship of the stars, considered in relation to the productions of the earth and the labors of agriculture; and this first worship, characterized by their adoration under their own forms and national attributes, was a simple proceeding of the human mind."
Volney's Ruins; or, Meditation on the Revolutions of Empires, Boston, J. Mendum, 1869

FACTS..THE FIRST WHITE MAN WAS BLACK.
I always thought, just based on the archaeological evidence, that ancient people were a lot more advanced and traveled around a lot more than a lot of later people.
Then, something happened worldwide, and they had to start over.
I have believed something knocked us to the bare minimum a few times. I believe whatever it was that happened 15-11k year's ago was the worst.
We'll put
Because animal husbandry spread so quickly through out Africa, this also shows that the people living in Egypt both lower and upper spread southward and westward with their cattle looking for better grazing, and only later ( for unknown reasons) did they become isolated from each other. theconversation.com/ancient-dna-is-revealing-the-origins-of-livestock-herding-in-africa-114387

The black mummy??? Which one??? There's a lot of em
@Teh Jamez we would need proof that is his body... not one of the 700 Greek bodies found recently buried in a whole unceremoniously. Old kingdom is black, middle kingdom is black with some mixture, Nehesi take over... black and Hannibal (Persian mix) would be considered black
@Teh Jamez Ptolemys.... white from Greece but hair texture shows they're are some who must have been mixed
North African, Eurasian and South American mummies are all European or mixed Eurasian. Chinchorro mummies for example.
@@odinbiflindi nah especially not Queen Tiya
@@odinbiflindi I understand Europe would like a foot hold on everything but it's simply not the case in Egypt. Not from descriptions and not from primary resources and the pre-dynastic and middle Kingdom show it.
Not shocking to anyone with reading comprehension...
"The period when sub-Saharan Africa was most influential in Egypt was a time when neither Egypt, as we understand it culturally, nor the Sahara, as we understand it geographically, existed. Populations and cultures now found south of the desert roamed far to the north. The culture of Upper Egypt, which became dynastic Egyptian civilization, could fairly be called a Sudanese transplant." Ancient finds in the Western Desert of Egypt at Gebel Ramlah circa 5,000 BC show culture closely linked with indigenous tropical Africans of both the Saharan and sub-Saharan regions, not Europe or the Middle East. Dental studies put the inhabitants of Gebel Ramlah, closest to indigenous tropical African populations.

Studies of crania from southern predynastic Egypt, from the formative period (4000-3100 B.C.), show them usually to be more similar to the crania of ancient Nubians, Kushites, Saharans, or modern groups from the Horn of Africa than to those of dynastic northern Egyptians or ancient or modern southern Europeans." - The Geographical Origins and Population Relationships of Early Ancient Egyptians, in Egypt in Africa, Indiana University Press, pp. 20-33)
"There is no archaeological, linguistic, or historical data which indicate a European or Asiatic invasion of, or migration to,the Nile Valley during First Dynasty times. Previous concepts about the origin of the First Dynasty Egyptians as being somehow external to the Nile Valley or less native are not supported by archaeology... In summary, the Abydos First Dynasty royal tomb contents reveal a notable craniometric heterogeneity. Southerners (Nubian) predominate." - Further Studies of Crania From Ancient Northern Africa: An Analysis of Crania From First Dynasty Egyptian Tombs, Using Multiple Discriminant Functions. To make matters worse for the euronuts; gebel ramlah is deep South current Egypt, far from any sea shores; in what was old Nubia
Witch Chan I can reference you to several creditable books written by white scholars that admit ancient Egypt was black. You probably don’t read books tho, you’re probably like 15 😂😂😂😂
The shocked people are experiencing cognitive dissonance. The facts are before them, but they refuse to accept it bc it goes against their racist ideologies.

It’s not a mystery. It’s history.
They call it a mystery because they dont want to admit that black Africans actually were very advanced and the Egyptians actually were an extended Empire/kingdom of that black African civilization..

Highly interesting!! Never heard of this. More and more history of humanity is being uncovered EVERY DAY!!! Love it.
is it so wild to believe that perhaps this is just where egyptian culture and life started from? Before, like most civilizations, it blew up, it grew, and they prospered into the Egyptians we know of today? I can totally see Egypt being a Capitol holy city in Africa back in that time. the whole country connected like our modern states are Unified. Sharing amongst trade routes. A Nation. Egypt being the city where the Top government/Royalty reside.
Exactly
This documentary dates back to 2003, when you could drive across Lybia and come back alive 😯😣
I shouldn’t have laughed but god dammit
It always amazes me that humans feel as if everything has to start in one place and one place only. Egyptians seemed to perfect the mummification process not invent the procedure. That’s like saying we didn’t have phones until Apple IPhones.
But this mummy boy lasted for 5000 years, so the older mummification was superior to Egyptians
@@Neesi392 lol she just doesn't want to admit that the original mummies/Egyptians were black Africans not arabs
Very informative. 👍
I’m glad I came here first, then wasting an hr of my life. 🙄thanks y’all!
