The sword’s giving me vibes of an Aztec Macuahuitl, which was basically a wooden club with slats along two edges which were filled with obsidian blades. That really ties together the volcanic glass texture of this guy. Pretty cool!
That style of sword is called an "ikakalaka". You might recognize the shape as the same as "The Crucible" from Doom Eternal or Megatron's sword from The Last Knight. Wikipedia says they're from tribes in the DRC.

@aidenwallin3523 An Ikakalaka also works really well for Lava Beast, as the area around the Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi has a fair bit of volcanic activity (though I suppose the Mongo people were a stretch removed from that area). Nice catch!
There's one important detail you missed. The eyes/head under the face. The set uses Trans-Neon Green G2 Bionicle head, but it looks like Jack has used a Trans-Bright Green Glatorian head, and it helps make those eyes pop more. Usually I would say that the eyes should have been Orange or Yellow to fit with the flame technique, but that little pop of green is the perfect contrast to give attention to the face. It's like giving Tahu blue eyes instead of the more traditional red. It probably shouldn't work if you begin to really think about in-universe reasons, but it just does.
What an awesome moc! The only thing I don't really agree with is that this is what the character should have been, as this feels less like a hoard beast and more like their lord or something.

This looks awesome. I also recently tried to make my first moc and it was the lava beast too but focusing more on the trans-neon-orange parts. But this looks incredible. Definitely a good idea to add a tail, mught do that too. Thanks for the video and inspiration again. Your Videos helped me a lot to create my moc
this moc is great! also what is you're favorite beast? mine is storm beast becuse he has neon green claw pices and kopaka's mask in neon green. but if i get my hands on a lava beast thath might change.
I think the back of storm beast is way too messy. It sort of looks like a prototype. From the front he looks good though. I think, even though I don’t have it, quake beast has to be my favorite, even though his back isn’t clean either.
To be honest, I feel like the sword kinda diminishes the design, while it does look lava-y, it doesn’t match color wise. Plus, the whole point of the original set was that it used its scissor-like wrist blades.
