      @Skinless-chan 5 місяців тому +3

      I didn’t imagine them that way either, but it’s not that big of a stretch. The shape of the head/back plate and the spines do look pretty lizardy. And the way their shoulders move when you turn the gear is literally how lizards’ legs work.

      Truly. I was thinking maybe it’s just nostalgia but honestly I have nostalgia for all those old BIONICLEs, but the Rahkshi were just so well designed. The lizard/snake-like body, the predator split jaws on the mouth, the spikes on the spine, the spear as a weapon… it’s pure gold. SO iconic.

      I wish they’d do like advance statues of Bionicle figures.
      Best way I can explain this is you have the toy version. It can take a beating.
      The statue version is a bit more delicate and isn't a toy but has way more detail, way more complex and made for older more experienced Lego and technic crowds.

    Honestly, if Bionicle came back, your mix of bionicle and "normal" parts is how I'd want it. The pure Technic/Constraction designs of official bionicles always feel unfinished because there's inevitably holes that you don't use. The System bits cover it up very well!

The spikes on the spine, the three part separating jaw reminiscent of Predator, the lizard/snake like body, the spear-like weapons, and last but certainly not least, the fact that the actual living piece is simply a slug like creature just controlling the Rahkshi body.

    Love this build it looks a lot like how the mask of light versions looked, with their heads opening up and just she sheer size of it.

    Okay, as a bionicle fanboy, that's honestly one of the coolest things I've ever seen. 😎 Bravo!

    It’s magnificent but in my opinion what could make it better was to make the tail longer in my opinion but it’s very cool and sick to see

    This video gave me so much nostalgia. My favorite bionicle was Krika from the 2008 mistika series. He was like a white insect creature with red accents. It would be awesome to see an updated version of him

    All of your builds are amazing. I agree with another commenter I saw: Lego should hire you. I’d love to see your stuff turned into official sets.

    I recognized this moc from Ben Cossy’s Bionicle Inspiration Series. Ep 78 (Rahkshi). Cool to see how to make the original design by the original designer

    Truly inspiring. I need to get some ccbs and technic stuff next time I order parts. I usually build stuff that I feel like could have come in canisters back in the day, but man, if I had this as a kid, it would've been my favorite toy

    This is sick. The one thing I would've changed is keeping the orginal head as the top jaw, but I can understand if it was too small for this build.
