I just wanted to say that I'm very greatful for this video. I received my kickstarter copy of this a few weeks ago and ran my first game last Saturday. On Friday night I blindly went looking for Clocktower content and was blown away to find such a high production video with such advanced players and a wonderful storyteller who shares his decision making. I learned how to be a storyteller AND got lots of strategy tips to dish out to my players. My group had a blast and you guys played a big part in that!
The face Brook Makes at the End when she is Told her Character was actually the Drunk is one of the best Moments ever on this channel. How Sully can be almost instantly found out on the first day and play it off just proves he is the best at this game. Best episode ever
Adam might be the worst innocent team member. I've never seen someone be right and then just go all the way wrong, its actually quite hilarious "they must be keeping Sully alive for a reason!"
@@HarryBuddhaPalm I think no one was right by the end. Laurie was accusing Blair but albeit in desperation and without much evidence aside from "Spy" which was wrong anyway. Jon didn't really have much either and was eyeing Dom or Sully by the end, mostly at Dom to be honest.
I love how Ben is basically telling everyone "You've got three baddies here!" Cause they clearly are NOT thinking that they have three evil players and the only thing he could possibly do to influence the game to help good at that point is pretty much to emphasis that possibility.
Yeah, the possibility of Spy really threw everyone off. I think everyone knew the Baron was in play because either Laurie or Blair or both is the Outsider, and there was no evidence to suggest that the Outsider could be out of the game so Baron must be one of them. But it could still be either Poisoner or Spy. Poisoner because either Carley is poisoned or Sully is poisoned, but there was no evidence for neither. But truthfully, it could have been a spy and that would mean Sully or Carley must be lying because there can't be a Poisoner, and a Drunk was still on the cards because of how ambiguous the Laurie/Blair situation was. So no matter what they were still working on very very difficult grounds even if they had caught on to that fact earlier.
i will be honest...i thought botc was the perfect game to do via zoom and just wasn't sure how it was gonna work on this channel in-person...i will gladly eat grits cuz this was absolutely fantastic. everything about it. well done to all of you!
2:12:47 Everyone thinking there's no way Blair can keep herself composed!!! What a baller. Also, the timing of Brooke getting killed making it seem certain she was the undertaker and confirming the story of Laurie + Blair as the Baron's 'guests from out of town' was the kind of lucky brilliance you only get from BOTC. That was just beautiful.
As someone who also falls apart when evil in social deduction games, I appreciate that both Oli and Blair were masking so well that they didn't read as flustered when they were likely internally screaming. XD
26:15: "Sully, I want death. I want death so quick. Take me now." Same, Blair, same. TBF being the demon in the first in person game must be terrifying, I'd just want to curl up into a ball. BTW, format works great, you guys did a great job. EDIT: The Who Wants to Be a Millionaire-esque lighting at, "Nominations are open" and the nomination lighting itself are brilliant. EDIT 2: FFS Sullivan...
@@berkdemirdag6018 In hindsight, the revealing Brooke as the Undertaker 'mistake' that Sully made could also have been a genius play to divert attention from everyone else and put it all on him. Sully has gone from the bumbling buffoon to the dark horse of BOTC.
I can't believe how legitimately good Sully is getting at the game! He legit calmed Blair down at the start and gave solid info like an actual boss! Go Sully you big brave kind fancy boy! Edit: Just got to the moment. Scratch that! Love you Sully! Edit edit: YES SULLY!!!!!!
you don't have to scratch it when Sullivan could've just done it intentionally. That's my meta and anyone who tries to challenge will have to look at the BOTC leaderboard and weep. Sullivan #1
I truly hope everyone involved enjoyed every moment of making this as I and many others enjoyed watching it. I know this must have a cost of fortune, but I believe they will feel it was worth every penny. Side note: I hope we get a video of Carley’s time in England as well.
As a massive nerd, the opportunity to dress up like a druid and run a murder mystery game, in a spooky forest, with a bunch mates, was absolutely the highlight of my gaming career.
Blair and Carley having a really in depth talk and then that wide shot of Laurie just sat drumming his thighs, minding his own business. Just lovely stuff.
So as another bonus for the Patreon, could we get the uncut scenes of the night phases with sound, where everyone apparently was having an a cappella jam session to cover the sounds of movement from the storytellers? I definitely want to hear those! Lol
Seems to me Brooke was the downfall of the good team from the start. She cast doubt on them killing Sully, and shifted blame to Laurie and Dom. This snowballed to Sully being inexplicably safe for most of the game
The amount of work that must have went into this is staggering. There’s a likability and genuine chemistry here among everyone. Live on set or Zoom this is why BOTC succeeds. Jumping into Patreon now.
Not gonna spoil the Patreon exclusive BOTC game, just gonna say that as a long time fan, there's a moment in there which honestly made subscribing worth it by itself.
NRB crew continuously proves that they know what they’re fans want and constantly deliver! This is your sign to sign up as a patreon and bring some extra joy into your weekdays!
This was a brilliant episode Props to Blair didn't think she could keep it together ,when I saw that she was the demon thought might be easy win for good Also to have Oli and Sully as minions wasn't the strongest hand but all of them played out of their skins to earn a wipeout. Bravo👏👏
Yeah, I wasn’t sure whether the magic would survive the change in format but this was an absolute banger and BEAUTIFULLY put together. Holy moly Adam was so CONFIDENTLY completely wrong about everything. Jiminy cricket, Sullivan played a blinding game, sometimes even on purpose! Well done, everyone involved!

This was the first Blood on the Clocktower video I'd ever watched about three weeks ago maybe? And I've been obsessed ever since. (I literally cannot stop watching and rewatching the NRB and official TPI games.) I cannot wait to see how the kickstarter episodes turn out; you're all doing an incredible job, especially Rosie and Laurie for the sets and production.Thank you all for this gift. 💖
I'm not sure how much extra effort this would take, but I think voice over for the actions during the night phases would be super helpful for future videos. The subtitles work, but as someone who likes to put these videos on in the background and listen to them, having to make sure I'm watching the screen to know everything happening in the night phases can be a bit of a chore. It could also be useful if there are any viewers with sight issues. EDIT: Wanted to make sure it didn't just seem like I was critiquing, so I needed to make sure I pointed out how incredible this is. The presentation, the production, the players, the other p words, all of it is phenomenal. I am so happy to see you all at No Rolls Barred able to create something like this, and I hope it gets to continue. I think you should all feel proud for all the content on this channel, but this one deserves an extra special congrats.
This was so much better than I anticipated. I'm crying laughing because I actually thought I could see Blair saying "Pikachu" during her Imp kill and I had no idea why until the blooper reel. Well done guys honestly what a production.
This was amazing and so definitely worth the wait! I started playing BotC because of NRB, and here I am nearly a year later classed as a "veteran player". I've been in UA-cam games, Twitch streamed games and on the official TPI stream. My one last big Clocktower dream is to play with the NRB crew! Biggest pipe dream ever but a boy can dream right? 😂 In terms of the episode it was absolutely fantastic. I'm already a Patreon member for NRB and am definitely happy to keep contributing if this is the Clocktower content we get going forward. Well done to all those involved in making this!
Dudes, I’ll be honest, I don’t make enough money to do a lot of Patreon supporting. But if this is what my $10 a month is going to, I clearly made the right choice in who I picked to support! Jesus this is so COOOOOOOOL!!!!
Adam and Carly together are just a wonderful thing. I love those two bouncing suspicions. This was well done by the whole group! Off to patreon to watch the second.
Never been prouder to be a Patreon! I hope that everyone who watches this channel, and can reasonably fit it into their budget, considers signing up with them, too. The more support they receive, the more awesome stuff like this they can produce. Not to mention, Adam's gonna need a new tangerine...
This video is absolutely incredible! The production value are spectacular! I got married yesterday and waking up to this is exactly what I needed on my first day as a married man. Thank you NRB Crew ❤️
Man. I watched this when it came out and it was my first experience with Blood on the Clocktower.. I have since watched EVERY NRB game of this and now rewatching this live one and it is AMAZING. To understand why people were so distrustful of Carley, why Jon always assumes he's drunk.. Watching them struggle to interact and read each other live .. this is a JOY to watch. Im gonna go back the kickstarter for more live shows if it's still up
Halfway through watching, I said to myself: "Sully is playing an absolute blinder!" and he really did, right through to the end, along with Blair and Olli, of course. Watching all of you over the last, what? 18-24 months? has got me through some very dark times when I've been very ill. You've kept me company through many a lonely hour and been a very necessary distraction. I look forward to Board Game Club every Tuesday night. I had thought that one day, I'd love to play BotC in person myself - my local boardgames club here in France doesn't really play social deduction games and I can't really play them in French anyway - but I realised having watched this episode, that because I have constant brain fog so it would be an absolute nightmare to try and keep everything straight in my head! I don't know how anyone manages it? I've wanted to join your Patreon for a while, to say thank you and after seeing this incredible production, I had to join for at least one month to show my appreciation. I may not be able to stay a member for long as I'm permanently skint due to living on disability benefits. If I have to leave after only a short time, it will not be a reflection on the channel at all.
NRB always delivers but this has to be one of the best productions yet! Definitely worth signing up for their Patreon to support such incredible entertainment and see another episode of BOTC!
Wow...what a treat this is...and TWO episodes of BoTC in person with the extra on Patreon?! Best $10 a month I've spent this year so far! Thanks, NRB for all the excellent board game content!!
For anyone wondering the Patreon game is great and there is one particular moment that is up with the best that have happened in Clocktower. Worth a sub for that brilliant bit.
That had freaking higher production quality than most television game shows! And a much higher entertainment value to boot! Every single NRB member just comes to life in this theatre-like production! Freaking best show I've seen all year, well done, everyone! Trust me Laurie, the outcome notwithstanding, this was worth every single penny you invested! (The members keep flooding into the Patreon Discord, so hopefully, it looks like the return on investment is worth it!)
Y'all, if you think this game was great, you should check out the NRB Patron page. Not only is there a bonus exclusive in-person game, but there are other Blood On The Clocktower exclusives from the Zoom days as well. And this doesn't even touch on unedited version of Board Game Club, chronicling Adam's journey to five games of Monopoly.....uhhhh, I mean winning enough to _not_ do that. I guess what I'm saying is *GET ON BOARD!!*
What an amazing game! Worth the wait and worth every penny for the Patreon subscription. Bravo NRB. And I think Oli wins the award for most improved since the early days of NRB plays BotC, he’s come on a long way!
Just want to let everyone know, I signed up for the Patreon after watching this. I've watched the other live episode. It's fantastic and well worth the 5 USD if you're like me and on a budget. Plus all of the previous online bonus episodes I get to see now too! If you can manage it, even just the 5 that I managed, it's seriously worth it. Get on booed!
Holy hell guys, this just reaffirms your spot as the top boardgame show online in my eyes. Absolutely superb job, on both the production and the gameplay.
I love how far this channel has come. Since in person CBW a few years ago to this now. So proud of NRB for what they have been able to do and become. This is probably my favorite BotC.
And you should Laurie. Your production values have been good pretty much all the time, but this one ... just was so much more than I expected and I expected a lot already...
This was absolutely magnificent. I must get this game to play with my friends. What a ride that was. Adam's face during the big reveal in the end was priceless.
I saw the BotC Instagram post that the physical games were on their way and I couldn’t wait to see my favorite game group play it but I was not ready for this production. The face Brook Makes at the End when she is Told her Character was actually the Drunk is one of the best Moments ever on this channel. How Sully can be almost instantly found out on the first day and play it off just proves he is the best at this game. Best episode ever
Adam might be the worst innocent team member. I've never seen someone be right and then just go all the way wrong, its actually quite hilarious
"they must be keeping Sully alive for a reason!"
What's that old saying about leading a horse to water?
@@bennburns I believe it's "you can lead a Laurie to water but you can't make him win".
i will be honest...i thought botc was the perfect game to do via zoom and just wasn't sure how it was gonna work on this channel in-person...i will gladly eat grits cuz this was absolutely fantastic. everything about it. well done to all of you!
Take me now."
Same, Blair, same.
LAURIE: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is exactly what I used to describe the lighting I wanted for that moment!
@@NoRollsBarred You did an outstanding job setting up the production, Laurie! Just, shame about the outcome for you
CHECK OUT 47:10 How Sully encourges the saint claim!!!!
This was his best game, he could've fumbled it but instead built a circle of trust, great job!
@@ohhhdear that too after everyone was suspicious of him from day one and by the third day he convinced everyone that he was on the level
you don't have to scratch it when Sullivan could've just done it intentionally. That's my meta and anyone who tries to challenge will have to look at the BOTC leaderboard and weep. Sullivan #1
What is Sully's overall record?
@@muhammadHassan-kj1jy Best W/L of the entire cast by a reasonable margin. I think he's two out ahead of everyone else.
The only thing missing from this video is an actual billiard room for the legendary billiard boys!
Well done Blair! Watching Adam's face as he realizes he was fully bamboozled on his social read was very satisfying.
Lol
My condolences to Laurie “Cassandra” Blake, cursed to be right in so many games. If only his team would believe him.
At this point it's getting so ridiculously common that I'm wondering if he's somehow reverse-cheating or something!
But I'm sure the one they believe him, he will be wrong😂
Always love seeing a Trojan War reference slipped in among the comments on board game videos.
This is such a different level; I’ve never seen a board game channel or ANY board game programming with such great production value and sets
Sully comforting Blair around 27:43 was adorable
And the cut to Adam and Laurie is absolutely hilarious.
Seems to me Brooke was the downfall of the good team from the start. She cast doubt on them killing Sully, and shifted blame to Laurie and Dom. This snowballed to Sully being inexplicably safe for most of the game
yeah the comments are full of people praising Sully and Olly, but let’s be honest the good team lost because of Brooke and Adam.
Laurie tying that vote on himself in the first round really kicked off the evil team’s chain of events
Sully may genuinely be one of the greatest Blood on the Clocktower players of all time.
Sully giving Blair a hug is the wholesome content that nrb needs more of!
Dom as the prosecutor was such a good acting job!
Made only better by Oli responding pretty damn well!
The amount of work that must have went into this is staggering. There’s a likability and genuine chemistry here among everyone. Live on set or Zoom this is why BOTC succeeds. Jumping into Patreon now.
So happy to see this quality of production for the in-person games at at last and now I have another one to watch thanks to the Patreon exclusive!
This was a brilliant episode
Props to Blair didn't think she could keep it together ,when I saw that she was the demon thought might be easy win for good
Also to have Oli and Sully as minions wasn't the strongest hand but all of them played out of their skins to earn a wipeout.
Bravo👏👏
Well, the fence isn't getting painted tonight after all
Yeah, I wasn’t sure whether the magic would survive the change in format but this was an absolute banger and BEAUTIFULLY put together. Holy moly Adam was so CONFIDENTLY completely wrong about everything. Jiminy cricket, Sullivan played a blinding game, sometimes even on purpose! Well done, everyone involved!
Seriously guys. Join the Patreon if you’re able. It is definitely worth it and there is also 3 more exclusive BOTC episodes from before it was in person as well!
3 you say?
@@Goodwi1l All very fun in their own ways. Their 10 dollar patreon is very worth it if you have the money + time.
Agreed
@@Goodwi1l Yep! On for each of the original scripts. Released back when they first released their Patreon
@@Goodwi1l one of the three is a game featuring Tom as a player, even! It's really fun to go back to where they all started and compare how they're playing now.
Oli's pose when talking to Isaac was just fantastic. What a comedic mastermind.
Well done guys honestly what a production.
this is the best thing that has ever happened to UA-cam or moving pictures since they were invented. Bravo.
In terms of the episode it was absolutely fantastic. I'm already a Patreon member for NRB and am definitely happy to keep contributing if this is the Clocktower content we get going forward. Well done to all those involved in making this!
jon being right and everyone brushing it off. end seeing him flip out is the funniest thing😂😂😂
@1D1-Myke i meant jon. First. I wasnt there yet when i wrote but yeah wtching it up to the applies to laurie more. 😅
Dudes, I’ll be honest, I don’t make enough money to do a lot of Patreon supporting. But if this is what my $10 a month is going to, I clearly made the right choice in who I picked to support! Jesus this is so COOOOOOOOL!!!!
This was so brilliant, I was worried they wouldn't be able to do the whole different rooms bit but they nailed it, well done everyone!
Adam and Carly together are just a wonderful thing. I love those two bouncing suspicions. This was well done by the whole group! Off to patreon to watch the second.
The universe is balancing the win ratio of Sully by giving Laurie a losing ratio.
I feel this is the best Olli has played this game and he convinced me and we knew he was the baron. Well played sir. 👏👏👏
Never been prouder to be a Patreon! I hope that everyone who watches this channel, and can reasonably fit it into their budget, considers signing up with them, too. The more support they receive, the more awesome stuff like this they can produce. Not to mention, Adam's gonna need a new tangerine...
I reckon we might even have the budget for a satsuma next time.
This and the Patreon episode may be the 2 best Clocktower games NRB has ever done. They were both amazing.
If you do play this game in French please do Adams terrible french accent if you become the chef
If i am correct there is a french canadian twitch channel for Clocktower!
CHECK OUT 47:10 How Sully encourges the saint claim!!!!
ERMAHGERD! You got Carley for the first Imp-Person game!!! I wasn't getting my hopes up just in case it couldn't happen, but this is awesome!
Absolutely amazing! I really hope NRB get a load of new Patrons after this, they really deserve it!
Absolutely the best example of how BotCT live should be put on YT, this was brilliant. Well done guys you f'cking nail it!
I guess what I'm saying is
*GET ON BOARD!!*
IT'S HAPPENING!!!
And it's happening again on the Patreon!?! Oh, what a day! WHAT A LOVELY DAY!
What an amazing game! Worth the wait and worth every penny for the Patreon subscription. Bravo NRB. And I think Oli wins the award for most improved since the early days of NRB plays BotC, he’s come on a long way!
Both of these in person games are absolutely amazing. The Patreon game on its own is well worth the $10 USD to watch
I have been eagerly anticipating an in-person BotCT, I can say this absolutely lived up to my hopes. Also Tom is an international treasure.
I'm just about to start, I can't wait, but also THERE'S ANOTHER ONE ON PATREON?!? Goodbye weekend, I hardly knew ye...
You guys are awesome!
Blimey, this was a really ambitious project and so well put together
Sully charming his way into a win once again. You love to see it. Tremendous episode, everyone, and kudos to he editing.
Well that was a fun first minute so far. I can’t wait to see it actually play out
Had no idea that Daddy Ben had *FLOOR LENGTH DREADS* holy shit.
Congratulations on an outstanding production. Best Video I've seen anywhere all year!
LAURIE: I’ll take that!
And you should Laurie. Your production values have been good pretty much all the time, but this one ... just was so much more than I expected and I expected a lot already...
@@NoRollsBarredoh Laurie, you beautiful man. If only your ability to convince people of objective facts were as good as your production chops!
I’ve never been happier to see a group of people sitting in a half circle, this has been a long and hilarious time coming. Thank you No Rolls Barred, you just gained a Patron! Never trust Carley. Daddy Ben forever.
Blair really is too precious, its like some superpower of adorableness. Her getting consoled by Sully in the dressing room is the mood I am here for in this clusterfuck of a stressgame. Good show, fantastic design choices all around: A+.
This set design is absolutely amazing. It's like you're playing BotC in the penthouse of game rooms. Well done NRB! Oh, and ppl should support NRB because that Patreon Bad Moon Rising episode is veeeeery cool how it plays out! 😎
What a time to be alive. In person BOTC! Just started watching but I wanted to say it's so wholesome that everyone took into account that Sullivan doesn't like to be called Sully. good friendds!
@@11th-lemon when he and Adam played Guess Who
Oh My, the expectations were very high and boy you guys over delivered. The set , the lightings, the costumes and above all the best and the most bunch of people. This is all we wanted and more. Sully you champ, you've become a legend. PS : who noticed Oli lipsing, " I'm sorry, I love you", just before Laurie was executed? Oli sure is the coolest boss in the world
