Ptosis is where eyelid muscle is very weak. I personally have ptosis on the right eye. 4 months, 4 years and 16 years, still considering the next one cause I see another doctor and says my ptosis got muscle. But very weak.
@@studytimelapseforyou not true.jf do as natural as possible that is a failed case.wouldnt wanna go to that surgeon.it has to be beautifully done but can still tell abit. That is a good surgeon. For this, nope! He eye seems like .... I am not sure.
I like how you guys share about plastic surgery, but I think it's important that others note that plastic surgery isn't a solution to fixing self-confidence. It will not make you feel 'beautiful' or 'changed'. There are also cases of 'ghost surgeons' in Korea, so it is really important to do research!!
a suggestion for the channel. Not sure if it's in the works but you can consider turning Ask ZULA into a podcast as well in addition to the yt uploads. I'm sure some of us would find it more convenient to listen to the podcast while commuting etc. Love the content that's being put out but sometimes I can't afford to watch a video for 30 mins :(
Same here!!! I did my DST eyelid surgery (epicantoplasty & ptosis correction) in Korea’s top 3 clinic 3 years ago when I was 18. My mum and I went there together cuz she also had her face lifted 😂 Woke up in the middle of the surgery felt something tugging my eyes. No pain at all. The doctor and nurses were very professional. For the price I paid, I think it was worth it. The price is definitely more expensive for foreigners compared to locals. The best part was the customer service. They even gave me a 2-year warranty for my eyelids. So if anything happens to my eyelids within the 2 year period, I can get it redone for free. The results were amazing. Looks super natural and literally people that don’t know me thought that my eyelids were natural. So yeah, if anyone wants to get plastic surgery done, get it done in Korea :) this is my experience
Her previous natural pictures look much more beautiful. Conforming with western beauty must not be the norm, we were all born beautiful in our own ways..
Amanda honestly looks great with single eyelid. But if surgery made her more confident in herself, that's great! Though if anyone is here feeling insecure, single eyelid > double eyelid imo. No matter how many times I say, people still don't believe.
I think it really depends- not all double eyelids look good and not all single eyelids look good. Some double eyelids make really beautiful eyes while some monolidded eyes look super attractive. Still have to see eyeshape, kind of eyelid, eyelid thickness, size of eye hole, size of eyeball, things that frame the eye like eyefat (idk the proper term for the muscle under our eye that pops up that some people may or may not have haha), eyebrows, eyelashes, brow bone&other facial structure etc and ofc proportion of face. It's also why parents and children can both have the same type of beautiful eyes but bc of all the many other factors, 1 of them can still look a bit better than the other.
I think both single and double eyelids have their own respective beauty, there is no need to put down double eyelids just to appreciate the beauty of mono eyelids because then you are no different from those preaching that double eyelids are always beautiful. Ultimately beauty all comes down to facial harmony and averageness, rather than the respective features. Eg Bella Hadid features wouldn't look good on miranda kerr and vice versa. It's the respective harmony of their features that make their face beautiful
@@Maltcandyxp i think wat it depends on is your own standards and opinion. Some may think that monolids are prettier while some may think that double eyelids are nicer. What really matters is that youre not insecure about your own looks.
So informative even when I don't intend to do plastic surgery. But, qns: When you woke up halfway into the surgery, did you feel the pain when they scalpel your eye area???? Omg
@@CyberMew Ikr. I previously had epidural for surgery (not childbirth) and ofc I was fully awake but I did not feel a thing. But for this case she woke up halfway and felt the pain all. Haiyah scary
She should have local anaesthesia on her eyelids and shouldn’t feel any pain. I woke up in the middle of my eyelid surgery as well in Korea and felt no pain. Just tugging sensations as I was doing the suture technique instead of an incision.
fun fact: ptosis refers to the condition of droopy eyelids and not the surgical procedure itself. also, the "p" in "ptosis" is silent so it's pronounced as TOH-SIS :))
Personally, I support guys and girls who have had plastic surgery. Do what you wanna do. There no wrong way to be beautiful and there's no bad time to be beautiful ❤️
Fyi, Miri in Sarawak has a Korean Plastic Surgery which is linked to a well known Plastic Surgery Hospital in Seoul. It has an instalment plan available. I am not linked to this hospital but by accident I chanced on it. The Miri hospital has very rave reviews. The liposuction can sculpt till hour glass figure.
I'm actually considering to get a procedure done in Singapore. But the price for that simple procedure is about 3.2k? I know going overseas may be cheaper but won't the accommodation fee, the plane tickets and other miscellaneous costs add up, making the cost between the two countries almost the same? Also, if you fly back to Singapore after the surgery and being cleared by the doctor but some unpredictable complication happens, it would be hard to fix the issue too :/ Edit: I know that going overseas like Korea is worth it because of the experienced doctors, but if it is a simple procedure, would it be advisable to get it done in Singapore? We don't have to worry about language barriers, etc.
Ok that's not a major plastic surgery that actually changes your whole face. Double lid surgeries are pretty common and nothing taboo about it now. Before people start bashing, there's nothing wrong in getting minor cosmetic procedures done to enhance your looks and confidence.
Some people do make up, play with photoshop/camera filters (especially in China) or do plastic surgery. Others wear certain fashion to make themselves look slimmer/taller etc. And it’s completely fine as long as they accept themselves fundamentally and wants to do so themselves. So it’s definitely time to normalise that!
Every time one travel abroad, he/she usually values the local people, especially to their beauty. Wherever you go in this world, you will do the same. The beauty of Japanese, Indian, Mongolian, European ladies and so on. Exception usually comes when we go to Korea. It's quite hard finding the real Korean face nowadays. Most have been covered with plastic surgery. LOL
Never put filler in the nose. It is close to the nerves, aka you can go blind. And it will migrate and flatten out. Her nose bridge is thick and blunt now, instead of high and refined. Worst cases, the nose start to look like the Avatar na'vi.
Yeah their eye shapes are the same! "Downturned" which is the outer part sloping downwards. People think too much about double or single eyelid already. Amanda's (and Joanne Peh's) eyeshape fits their high cheekbones very well!
