Another beautiful trip whit priceless memories made... I just love Jesse's "day time and night time" alter ego's! So curious and chearful during the day and so easily spooked at night time by the same sounds and animals! Matt must be having "laughing fits" on a regular basis... I know I would!! (all with love of course!) 💖
My trick to packing…luggage cubes! Makes it so much easier to cram items into your suitcase yet keep everything organized and neat.

As soon as you arrive at the camp, I have only one word: WOW!!! The welcome, the view, the room, all the facilities dedicated to the holidaymakers are amazing!!! The horses are gorgeous, treated with care and the first ride was very enjoyable.😍🐃🐘

Amazing footage right! Dan Pierce did some of the shots from the ground while we were riding, and the rest is a combination of Matt, Isabel and Margot filming on different cameras - was quite a production! Those elephants are so gorgeous and what a treat getting so close to them! No chlorine in the water :)
Looks fabulous and well thought out, this is the way to travel in the bush! How did that bushy caterpillar get in your tent, I'm sure Jesse is relieved it wasn't a spider,lol. Looking forward to where and what you're up to next. Thanks for taking us along Matt and Jesse, see you soon.

Matt, if you fold then roll your casual gear and clothes, makes more room and no creases. All the traveling you have experienced, I'm surprised you haven't given a try. It's certainly been helpful for me.

What a glamourous tent!! And incredible dining/lounge area…I love the elephants congregating by the pool and taking a sip of it, too. Imagine if you had been IN it! Poor Jesse and the insects…I completely understand, though, as I was born in Ghana….AND there is NOTHING like an AFRICAN insect! I have dreamed of riding in Africa, but must do it vicariously through you. Thanks for bringing us all along!

That looks absolutely amazing!! I love that Jesse is so game to try these things even though he's nervous too. I'm not sure I would have been comfortable sleeping with a big weird bug stuck to the ceiling over my head either lol. The horses were amazingly healthy and chill, and who would have guessed they'd get a Friesian and a Friesian cross as mounts in Zimbabwe? Thank you to the boys, the photographers and the staff of the horse safaris for taking us along on this trip. I will probably never get to go and am perfectly happy to live vicariously through Matt and Jesse. They are awesome people. Can't wait for the next installment.

Believe you will truly enjoy this trip. Went to Zimbabwe in the late 90's and thoroughly enjoyed it - Hwange and Victoria Falls, etc. Lots of hippos in the Zambezi and baboons everywhere. Enjoy!

The horses were a surprise too, expected more like the sturdy Brumbies (?) They looked great tho, and the Friesans were so adapted to living there 😯

There are no Brumbies in Africa. We have our own breed, the Boerperd. Friesians, Arabians, Thoroughbreds and Warmbloods are common here.
