I have a younger twin brother, and I the older sister. Finding out that Halua was Emil’s older twin sister brought me to tears. I would have done the same for my brother. Even if you’re not identical, twins still share an unspoken bond unlike anything else. my heart breaks for both of them.
Emil is pretty much my favourite character in any media. I played Automata first, and I had no clue who he was. But I was so curious about him and looked into the story. Emil was the reason I bought a copy of Gestalt and grew attached to the DrakenNier series.
1 year ago i played this game and i still cant recover that emil and halua basically the only real humans who lived 1400 years ago before the prolouge.
Btw you could use Gluttony to fight this boss, absorb all his red magic and attack him again with it while doubling your magic power with an item, that will nearly one shot him xD
Dark Gluttony is imo the most OP spell in the game, it 1 shots too many bosses in the game. Kaine gets 1 shot, Popola in ragemonster form gets 1 shot(after the dialogue invuln is over), Halua gets 1 shotted. You might argue that the list isn't too long, but imo a boss that can get 1 shotted without serious prep from the player(you can put your pitchforks down Dark Souls players) is not a boss.
@@TheDonner000 Yeah its broken xD for me i couldnt one shot bosses as i was playing in hard mode but it still deals a scary amount of damage, like this fight for example.
At least the one silver lining is people can see his eyes and not turn to stone, being able to see because he's not forced to blind himself is a step up.

Just got both Automata and the RepliCant remake last week. I did the right decision to start with RepliCant first!
