THANK YOU !!! I speak 5 languages and could not figure out ONE SINGLE STEP about this gizmo. AND YOU ARE RIGHT, no video on youtube explains a damn thing
Wow, that thermostat control makes a big difference. No more manually turning the heat on and off. Just set it and forget it. Great idea and thanks for sharing. I hit the LIKE button on this video. :-)
Thanks for making this vid, the orig diagram is useless. I've wired mine slightly differently by using the 12v power socket to power the temp controller via a fused + lead. I found an old mobile phone charging cable and snipped the connector off. This way the temp controller itself is also protected by a fuse (I've used a 1A fuse as I can't find any info on the temp controller's own power rating!). I'm no electrician, but I'd be worried that by using a jumper cable (taking the + to power the temp controller from the same source as the appliance being controlled) means that if the temp controller's power circuit is rated at less than 10A, you could fry the controller before you'd blow the appliance fuse. Of course if the controller's power circuits are rated at the same 10A as the load circuits there's no problem. Thanks again for posting your great vid, very helpful.
Hey man, thanks. Wanna fit it in the boat to cool the Lithium batteries. Reason: the heater tubing goes near them so want this to control a fan. 12 V system. What bothers me is it says
I've been looking at a few of these models on Amazon and my God, it would have only cost them maybe a few cents more to add the wiring so that people don't have to be electrical engineers to figure all that out themselves! I'm looking for something to control heat in a reptile rack I just bought and hoping to find something comparable to Vivarium Electronics or or Herpstat (made by Spyder Robotics) but under $100.

I wish I could click a double thumbs up button! Thanks for making this video

thumbs up Mr. Green
Thanks alot
so to be clear the battery pos and neg go. pos in 1, neg in 4 , and load out neg in 4 and pos in 2?
Nice set up, I would run the LOAD to a relay, 7 amp draw with max 10 + china = trouble, You can run a relay on 1 amp and then have a 20 amp relay.
Ok thanks for the tip

did u end up moving to a relay switch?
hi sir, can you explain about the double stage air CAREL on/off temperature controller wiring plzz.
NTC - negative temperature coefficient.
If anyone was curious.
did i miss where you put the thermo probe, great thing, where is the link, would you highly recommend it
The probe is about waist high near the back and yes I would recommend these there cheap and do what there in
can you tell the model and or who you bought it from? I need a 12v temp controller for my telescope dew heater
Amazon. Inkbird 12v thermostat. It was cheap too
LOL I needed that great laugh! THANX!
How could not understand the diagram its so simple
Good English you're so simple
That’s not the correct way
