    Hi from Ireland,
    I Love your relaxed delivery of the video commentary. I bought a 21 year old c90 Cub last year, stripped it down, repainted it, serviced & rebult it. I Love it!! Yes, you are right. There is something intangible about these bikes. I have always wanted one since I first saw them as a kid in the late 60's early 70's. I also have a NC750X, sort of like a big version of the Cub really 😊.

      Thank you Goose. Awesome! Sounds like you gave a new life to an old bike, you must be having the deepest connection to it.

    What did I miss? You drop your bike inside the ferry, and go out how you drove in, and then go to a passenger entrance to the ferry? The ferries I know drop your vehicle inside and climb internal stairs to the passenger area, and all the paper works was done before you enter ...
    Fixing that plastic parts: The headlight goes with 2K Epoxy glue. Rough up all surfaces with sandpaper and apply glue generous, use clips or whatsoever to hold the part in place and let it dry over night. The Epoxy is likely stronger than the original plastic.

      Hi, I drop the bike when I was on a road. It was on central stand. Here in Korea ferry regulations are a little different. I've been twice on motorcycle to Jeju from mainland, and the rule is the same. Make paper work > load the bike > leave the ferry and go to passenger's terminal > enter the ferry as a passenger. When leaving the ferry - goes down to the bike > disembark driving out.
      About fixing. I like epoxy. But buying a new ring is easier and looks better, clips was newly made with super glue and baking soda. Works fine.

    Sorry I missed this when it came out. I wish we had bug spray stations like that around here. I had a couple of ticks this winter while tenting. Do you and your wife ride places together? I love the colors of your bike. It is beautiful. When you were walking for the ferry was the camera chest mounted? Time lapse was beautiful. Thank you for sharing that with us. Have you seen the new Royal Endield Super Meteor? I want to test ride one so bad but they haven't come to the USA yet. Hey, a Super Meteor test ride would be a good video for you with the quality of videos you put out. Take care friend.

    • @MotorcyclistDiaries
      @MotorcyclistDiaries  Рік тому +1

      Roger thank you for treating me with coffee! Ticks are unpredictable I actually not ready to deal with them, that's why if there is possibility I put tent on sand, or well prepared area for camp or spend night in homestay/hotel/hostel. I admire those rare brave who don't afraid and could deal with ticks.
      Yes I have chest mount and sponge cover for GoPro. So it is implicit kind of filming. In Korea people don't like to be filmed and anyone who pointing camera at them)). Sometimes I use selfy stick to point the camera to objects to film, that way it is much more convenient.
      I haven't seen RE Super Meteor, but it is already in the Korean market and ready for order.
      I wish this model is in your country so you can test it by yourself, seen as people riding and feeling of riding it by yourself are different stories.😉
      Save ride friend!

    Awesome video! Im jealous after days of thinking about it, I ended up getting a CT125. I just can't get over the looks of Super Cub though. I love the CT but I'd rather be seen driving the Cub

    • @MotorcyclistDiaries
      @MotorcyclistDiaries  Рік тому +2

      Thank you ☺️. When I look at CT125 on a street I think, what a great looking bike for simple adventures😄, so robust and ready for crossing fords with high exhaust and intake, spoke wheels off road tires, a dream bike.😅

    • @Creative_name_5
      @Creative_name_5 Рік тому +2

      @Motorcyclist Diaries that's funny, I bought my CT125 exactly for that and it has been awesome. I live on a farm so my CT has been through deep mud, snow, water, you name it. My other bike is a BMW 650GS, but I would take my CT125 off road before I take my BMW any day.
      However, I do a lot of work with charities and in one more year I'll be a therapist. When I picture myself in my tuxedo going to an event or in the future arrive at my office to meet with patients for the day, I picture myself on a Super Cub. There's just a timeless beauty to it I can't describe it.

      Love it, when I was studying to become an English teacher, more than 20 years ago I was thinking how cool it could be to get a classic motorcycle and drive to village school on it in leather jacket and sunglasses and become a beloved teacher among students.
      I agree about Cub there is something subconscious that playing on strings of my soul.))

    Thanks for the video. I’m based in Japan, and thinking of traveling from Tokyo to Seoul via Busan on my C125. Any idea of how long it would take from Busan to Seoul? Any good campsites along the way?

    • @MotorcyclistDiaries
      @MotorcyclistDiaries  Рік тому +2

      Hi, it is a little bit more than 400km on motorcycle eligible roads. 8 hours of pure riding. If you are on a fast manner you can ride from Busan to Seoul in one day. Comfortably 2 days, in chilling ride 3 days. I'm not familiar with campsites, I tried not to pay for camping, that's way I made a camp on riverbeds and random weird places, which is not comfortable if you want to have a safe camp with all facilities you need to pay for campings it is not super expensive depending on facilities and place there could be about between 10-40USD.
      I suppose (but I'm not sure) If you'll drive along sea shore, you can camp on a beaches along the way. There is not too many people in remote areas along this road.

    • @PauldelRosario
      @PauldelRosario Рік тому

      @@MotorcyclistDiaries Awesome. Thanks so much for the detailed info. Sounds nice to just camp at a riverside and beaches. Lastly, what app do you use for navigation?

    • @MotorcyclistDiaries
      @MotorcyclistDiaries  Рік тому +1

      I use T-Map which is native SK Telecom cell phone provider app and it can be used only by their clients. But there are 2 alternatives, my friend says, you can probably use Kakao map or Naver map which were partially translated into English, (due to Olympic Games in 2018th) but they are a little glitchy with language switching. Though they are still useful because they can build up the route for 2 wheel vehicles, and that's very important.
