Why such a low mpg for that small engine?
I purchased a buick envista sport touring but I have no wireless charging or trunk/lift gate button outside the trunk, on the keys, or inside the car. I’m curious about why that’s available on the model you have.
If you didn't get these things, its because there's a certain package that wasn't added to your vehicle which would be an extra charge. I also have the sport touring. it is equipped with the power lift gate, and on my key fob because two packages were added to the original sticker price. i paid 27,300 for my car. For example : my car didn't include rear parking assist which is an excellent safety feature., Hope this helps
Mazda attempted to make one CX 50
First thing I notice is AN ENGINE TICK omfg
No.

1:36 Hey I do the same thing kick my feet before getting into a car.
I remember when Buick used to be GMs luxury brand just below Cadillac….what happened? Need to back to making sedans.
Sedans are bad for CAFE as they need to make 40% better MPG for the same size vehicle than an SUV, since the SUV is a "light truck" due to the ground clearance. :(
@@TassieLorenzo These compact SuVs look horrible...thats why I said make more sedans...look like an actual car lol
No rear wiper/washer, big mistake!
this new engine uses a timing belt in oil, the former engine the 1.34 uses a timing chain, why would gm make the same mistake PSA group did with there 1.2 puretech engine by using timing belt ???? you have to change oil and filter every 8000km and the timing belt every 40000km otherwise kiss goodbuy to the engine , you don't believe me go search 1.2 puretech engine problems
It's weird how a 3 cyl sounds much like a V6, a 5 cyl sounds very similar to a V10, but a 4 cly sounds nothing like a V8
"a 4 cly sounds nothing like a V8" Yeah it does. This is a Lotus Esprit V8: ua-cam.com/video/RWDnMCl1fYo/v-deo.html This is a Ferrari 360 V8: ua-cam.com/video/t3ZhcDMJD6w/v-deo.htmlsi=lxznLiH7xy0_MA56&t=32 It's just that in North America, the crossplane V8 is more common rather than the flatplane V8 which has the same layout as an inline-four. Crossplane inline-fours like the Yamaha R1 are possible, but are relatively rare. This is a Yamaha R1 inline-four which sounds more similar to a crossplane V8 or to a V4: ua-cam.com/video/YDCb3ofQMOE/v-deo.html
I disagree. I don't hear the similarity. There are no 4 cyl that sounds like a Coyote V8, hemi V8, LS V8, Magnum V8, Ford Modular V8, iForce V8 etc etc etc
@@stevefrench4595 "There are no 4 cyl that sounds like..." I just showed you the crossplane crankshaft inline-four Yamaha R1 that sounds like a Coyote (but obviously revving twice as high, at low revs it sounds similar) etc: ua-cam.com/video/25pgWTyaxVE/v-deo.htmlsi=9v6Njt_HCgH6fbJ6&t=16
V4 engines also sound like crossplane V8s. Here's the Honda VRF800: ua-cam.com/users/shortsqMii_HRUOsY
Basically "most" V8s are built like two V4s joined together and *not* like two inline-four joined together. However if you have a V8 that is built like two inline-fours joined together, than a inline-four *does* sound similar to it.
On the other side, if you are really not convinced here is the Hayabusa flatplane crankshaft *V8* made out of two inline-four engines: ua-cam.com/video/C94VIwLbfKk/v-deo.html Hear how this V8 sounds like two inline-fours joined together, because it *IS* two inline-fours joined together?
How can the four cylinder Hayabusa not sound like the V8 Hayabusa, it is *literally* half of the V8 Hayabusa! I don't follow.
Here's an inline-four BMW S1000RR version of a Fiat 600, which sounds VERY similar to the above V8 Hayabusa Fiat 500 in my opinion: ua-cam.com/video/3vyL3yatHPg/v-deo.html
Most inline-four engines have flatplane crankshafts and therefore sound like flatplane crankshaft V8s like Ferraris, Lotuses, Ford Cosworth DFV F1 engine, Hayabusa etc like I said. *Inline-fours absolutely sound like half a v8, as they are half a V8.*
It's just the *other* layout of a V8 (like your examples) is more common like I said, while the matching inline-four to that layout like the Yamaha R1 is conversely, rarer like I said, but the Yamaha R1 still has that some tone as a Coyote.
@@stevefrench4595 If you go with, quote unquote, a " proper " V8 like this Honda V8 Indycar: ua-cam.com/video/wDLTsz_p41g/v-deo.html it absolutely sounds like a (very high revving) four cylinder engine, surely? 🙂
Therefore inline-fours DO sound like V8s like that Indycar, it's just that most V8s are the other kind of V8 (crossplane crankshaft), no?
"a 4 cly sounds nothing like a V8" I'm not done yet, I have another example! 😜
V8 DTM car: ua-cam.com/video/zTTHuKp1hMw/v-deo.html
Four cylinder DTM car: ua-cam.com/video/LGKDechw0Aw/v-deo.htmlsi=roZcnlRMhDkDj_F9&t=72
They sure sound *very* similar to me... The exact same type of race car, one year they ran V8s, the next year they ran four cylinders and they sound very similar just as you would expect -- I rest my case. 😉
Indeed, if you scroll through the comments of videos on V8 DTM car vs Four Cylinder DTM car sound, most people can't really tell the difference, except that the V8 is louder because it was't turbocharged (and obviously doesn't make anti-lag noises).

Door closing sounded solid and well built. Get your ears checked.
They sound solid.
1.2?!
неплохой бричан под древнейшей маркой
32mpg on the highway with 137hp?! Dear lord.
Much like the Ford Ecosport, this engine should be in vehicles that would actually deliver good fuel economy and cost over $10k less than this.
Wish I was in the market for a new car.
this thing is really compelling, if only it wasnt a GM product.
I honestly had no idea buick was still around
They don't have sedans anymore, but they have several SUVs.
Very BMW X4-ish looks, but the specs are kinda sad
looks good but NEED BACK AIR VENTS! 🙄 i hateeee the ticking on buicks (high pressure fuel pump sound) and brake tail lights are TOO LOW( that's dangerous).
oh- kind of slow when you need to speed going ACROSS TRAFFIC(good for driving NORMAL).
it's definitely considered a good luxary for all ages/ with a sporty enough look for the young generation.
Lambo Urus ?
Imagine it with a 2.5 naturally aspirated engine
It’s the American Urus imo
You should try driving these like normal sometimes. You seem like your pedal to the floor the whole time.
GM so unreliable?
Strange how you can still get a car in 2024 with no center arm rest in my opinion no matter the price point it should always have one but ehh🤷♂️
