Hi Hannah! Just found your channel and am enjoying your videos and learning a lot. I have a question for you. When you are making a round mat from French knitting “tubes”, what is the best way to sew it together? -Allyson

I've used a simple slip-stitch to hold it together, and have also actually cheated by gluing the tube carefully to a circle of felt.

You always have really nice backgrounds to your photos (woodland greenery) and videos. Is that your art behind you?

Thank you! Yes, the painting is mine. We take photos very locally, I feel very fortunate to be so close to woods and trees.

Hi Hannah your videos a very helpful. I have faced a problem. I tried knitting a adult hat by casting 112 stitches. 2 knit and 2 purl pattern. The first two rows I got the last two stitches as purl stitches but from 3rd and 4th row I started getting just one purl or one knit as last stitch. Please can you help me know what mistake am I making? Also is 112 stitches good for agents hat or should I take less stitches. Thank you 😊

Hi Shaheen, it's difficult to say what has made the stitch count difference without seeing your knitting. It might be that you dropped the last stitch on the row by mistake - this won't cause it all to unravel and it will just look like a loose edge. But do check this video, incase you've dropped a stitch elsewhere along the row. ua-cam.com/video/03S70htsIGM/v-deo.html
As for the stitch number. It will totally depend on the yarn and needles you're using. If you're in any doubt either follow a pattern or check one that uses the same yarn to see if your'e on track. hope the rest of your hat goes well, Happy knitting!

The cushion cover was a great way to save the knitting you’d finished. btw is this the first time I’ve heard you say sweater, or have I just not realised before? 😊

haha! Yes, I do occasionally say sweater instead of jumper. In the UK it 'sweater' generally refers to a fleece-based, rather than knitted jumper, so it was a slip of the tongue! 😍
