I don't have an active shooter bag. I have a get home bag for us. I have plenty of trauma gear, I'm a former Army medic, turned civilian paramedic for past 25 years. I do have a non descript medium sling bag that I'll wear in a public venue, stores, movies, that stuff. It has lots of trauma stuff, 2 glock mags plus what I have on me, a head light and multi tool. Thats it. That and my EDC.
It makes you think you lead such a boring life knowing that somebody has a bergen full of toys and gets to use it all the time. Some folks can't be realistic at all. They get too far into the what if game, and it makes it real for them. Great comment!
I really like your take on this. I had a “response bag” in my car for a few months before I realized how unlikely it would be for me to actually be near my car when or if something happened. I have an EDC bag that comes with me into work that has a micro trauma kit, boo-boo kit, tools, and daily essentials, a get-home bag in my trunk that has a full-sized trauma kit, and a chest rig up front with survival essentials. Instead of worrying about going back to my car, I should just be carrying *something* for medical on my person at all times in addition to my CCW.
I wish i could throttle folks who spend thousands on range time and gear and wont shred 50 bucks for a Stop the Bleed class. All that stuff pointed me in a good direction. Thanks for your take on things.
In the video thumbnail you hold your hands palms down, what is it supposed to simulate? I've seen others also do this, but I can't think of any weapon or weapon system that would require a hand position with the palms down. I don't pretend to know everything and I'm not 'Trolling', I ask because I'm genuinely curious. Thanks
Everybodys "magic gun" is different. My wrists are made of broken glass and bubblegum so it's comfortable. I guess you could say it mimics the tension of holding one. Also the rule of cool is always in play. I think it looks better for video
Super good advice
Gucci toys😂😂😂. All so true. D🤙🇺🇸
Great Audio for a rain metal roof
Dude it rained everyday for a month over here. I was pissed believe me

I think it all depends on the timing you arrive and what you see is happening.
The chances are very slim when you learn about how long an event takes and how fast you can run.
